So good!!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful tender steaks with a tasty Korean twist. And the desserts are dank city
We just love Joule. The food is always creative and amazing. The service is personal. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Second time there and it did not disappoint. Excellent food with a unique flair. Everything was very fresh. We were a party of four and our server suggested family style which was perfect. It was the first time for the other three in my party and they all loved it. Would gladly come here again.
Three of us went for Sunday brunch and took advantage of the brunch buffet with entree for a bargain $20. A small additional charge for certain entrees in the 2-3 buck range. To be honest, I was looking for a more obvious ‘Korean cooking outside the lines’ (a line from Yang’s ‘My Rice Bowl’). But, Yang’s use of Korean elements, while subtle, really did speak up and say ‘Hey there’, trust me, you’re gonna like this’. From the buffet morsels to the entrees, the menu delivered a well-crafted, light-handed Korean influenced meal. I had the Sesame Waffle and Chicken Fried Steak. The only complaint I had - and this is true of every waffle I’ve had from iHop to Fat’s - the waffle arrives too cool for me. Butter wouldn’t melt if it were on the plate. At least I expected this. The chicken fried steak was delicious and crunchy with a moist interior, done perfectly medium rare. Another had the Coulette, eggs and cilantro chimichurri - beauty in every way. My other friend went for the Revel Breakfast (2 big slabs of bacon maybe sous vide?, eggs to order, and toast). She had only praise. On a side note, my friend really likes wine so she wanted a bold red for brunch. Our server admitted to not really knowing the wines as she mostly works brunch and wine isn’t a big request. Happy to report, our server gave my friend a taste of some wines before she chose. Class act on part of the server. We’ll be back for dinner soon. Absolutely.
We went for my husbands birthday. The servers were wonderful, even as we probably started to become the loud bunch with maybe one too many of their delicious drinks. The food was also amazing. Highly recommend.
Probably the best meal I've had in Seattle. Watch my stories on @AnastasiaMidas for the dishes we absolutely devoured within seconds. 1. Geoduck fried rice 2. Chinese Broccoli 3. Short Rib 4. Shrimp. Cocktails were delicious and the service was impeccable. I cannot wait to come back. Seriously get yourself over to Joule!
The food was incredible but the noise level was insanely loud. At one point my friend and I started laughing because we were yelling at each other from across a small two-top table. We definitely did not stay as long as we wanted because it was so loud. We went across the street to get another drink & continue our conversation. Missed opportunity for Joule!
Food was good and they accommodated us for my friend’s birthday but putting a candle in the dessert.
We had a fantastic meal at Joule. A flavoursome combination of dishes. Service was prompt.
Very unique restaurant with awesome vibe and interesting, creative bites. Our server was very professional and made great menu suggestions. The octopus was definitely a favorite! Great cocktails and small plates, we will certainly return the next time we are in Seattle!
The food was expertly prepared with some unusual and tasty innovations. A very pleasant meal and evening!
Great time. Sat at the counter and guessed what they were making. Much fun.
Creative delicious meal. The chef who cooked our steak was dialed in. So focused on turning out delicious steak after after steak that he didn’t hear me tell him what a fantastic job he was doing.
It was my birthday and I got to pick where we went. I chose Jewel, again. Great decision.
It had been awhile since I had eaten at Joule. Everything turned out exactly as I remembered: delicious interesting food, good service, and really great wine. I have always loved the space as well. I need to go back there more often!
It had been a while since I last had brunch at Joule. The food was still great, but I think the buffet selection was better in the past...? But, nonetheless it's a great place!
Best restaurant in Seattle for consistency, quality of food, and service.
Excellent and varied flavors in a shareable small plate format. Delicious!
Great food and great experience!
Excellent service and food.
The food was delicious. My personal favorites were the cauliflower, chorizo rice cakes and the prime steak. The cocktails were also very well made and balanced. I loved the smitten.
One of our favorite Seattle restaurants when we are in town!
Had a 1:30 reservation. Brunch is listed as stopping at 2:00 pm. By the time we got there, they had already stopped refilling to buffet menu. So we paid full price for a limited buffet. They should not charge us full price if they don't plan on refilling it after 1:30.
I understand this is to cut costs... But when customers are paying 30 dollars for brunch... You guys should not be skimping on the service....
Excellent food and service. Relaxed atmosphere and wonderful unrushed dinner.
We've had a very frustrating experience with the waiter arguing over the order, which completely ruined the occasion. Also the place is quite pretentious, but the food was not on par with our expectations. Will not recommend.
Fantastic, unpretentious food that has both style and substance. While it's on the spendier side of things, it's well worth it for the quality. Fantastic experience throughout, and the service was great.
Excellent all around!
their service was TERRIBLE. Only checked in us to constantly remind us to clear out the table by 1pm.
The shrimp and grits were good. The chanterelle omelet was over cooked, tough, without much flavor. The ala carte dishes seem overpriced for the meal size. The restaurant is very noisy making it difficult to hear one’s table mates. The service was excellent.
Great service. Very loud ambiance, thought it might be quieter, but the tables were too close together. Food was average.
Felt like servers were trying to rush us out and we had a 9 pm reservation. They didn’t need our table. We had to ask for dessert menus when he brought us a check. I thought it was their job to sell?!
Easy online reservation. Had Saturday brunch. Monthly buffet theme was Oktoberfest, with good variety of flavors and textures. Items were restocked as they ran out. Mains (bacon and eggs breakfast and grits) and were outstanding. Scallion hash was great. Kids meal was smallish but ok when supplemented by the buffet. A different brunch buffet concept, we left very full and satisfied.
Had the steak and waffles. Wish it came with a side of maple syrup, I don’t normally use a lot but there wasn’t enough for me. Thin steak wasn’t quite medium rare in two thirds of it and the giant butter (?) didn’t enhance the flavor for me. If I was going to have battered beef I would have preferred a crispy ginger beef from a Chinese restaurant. Buffet items were gourmet but a lot of flies around them, they almost need those Asian mesh food covers.
I haven’t been to Joule in years even though I consider it one of my favorites. A friend was visiting from out of town so I took her. She wasn’t all that impressed. The food was good but not as amazing as I remembered and our server was pompous. The restaurant already adds gratuity so he could act anyway he wanted.
We are the sea level 6 and we approve of Joule
Went for brunch... reasonable and very tasty
This is our first time there. The table and furnitures are small and cheap. The menu was just a piece of paper with small and not clear print(with wrinkles). When we ready to order, the waiter said for two people, you will need to order at least 4 or 5 dishes. We asked for the waiter’s suggestions for their most popular food and ordered accordingly.smoked tofu, tar tar beef, fry rice and octopus. The presentation of all food were fine. However the taste are the same “very salty and sour” for all kind of food. We think the poor food taste and quality do not worthy of the price they charged. They also charged 20% for tips, totally not worth it.
Wonderful food, and I would definitely recommend it for a date or some other special occasion. While it's a little bit spendy, it's definitely worth the price tag, as the food is superb.
The main dishes (french toast and grits) were both great. The buffet was disappointing, but since they change it every month, there is bound to be an odd one out every now and then.
Food was good, but either the server or kitchen staff forgot one of our mains. I finished my dish before my GF’s dish arrived. The automatic 20% tip is bizarre for a 2 person table, especially when you have a service issue that results in a 20 min delay to one of your main orders.
The $20 weekend brunch is yummy in my tummy and easy on my wallet. The food was outstanding and the chef's counter was educational. The kitchen and staff know what they're doing here. The theme for the weekend brunch menu changes every month so we'll be making monthly brunch appointments!
Third time to Joule. Wonderful, inventive, delicious food every time. Sat on the patio for dinner this time. Main dining room is very boomy. Hard to hear my friends! A minor quibble, though. Joule is a jewel.
