   I personally felt the restaurant was overrated. It's asian fusion and majority of what we ordered tasted good but it wasn't extraordinary or even nearing excellent. We have tasted better steak in other lower rated restaurants, and I found the noise level to be too much to even hear the person sitting across the table. Service was okay. We went with our toddler and there was no toddler food. This was a disappointment because I called the restaurant prior to reservation, and they said they do have few things for toddlers/kiddos. Upon arriving there, the server initially suggested Korean Scallion Pancake for my toddler and said it was crowd favorite. It was overly crispy, may even call it hard to bite even for adults. Since our toddler didn't like the texture, we ordered their bread, and it was frozen sour dough and turned out hard and charred as they had to warm it up. Again, she didn't like it, we finally ordered their buttered pasta which was tasteless, needless to say, she didn't like it and my kid isn't a picky eater. I believe our family had over expectations on this place and maybe we were slightly disappointed with the food because of our over expectations. Overall, it wasn't too bad, honestly, it's good for nice dinner although slightly pricey.

   Wonderful time here except for the over the top noise level. Wish we had been out on the patio! Food was excellent and imaginative. Beets with rhubarb, yum!

   Few choices for vegetarians ( including the smoked tofu which was my entree and the portion was good) spicy rice cakes was modified for vegetarian which were amazing chips and dip was also very tasty but extremely small amount of edemame for 9 dollars The short ribs for the rest of the part was also very flavorful T T he service was very friendly and attentive The only thing that was annoying was the loud people in the party near us which is no fault of joule

   Consistently one of my favorites—Joule never disappoints. The food flavors are incredibly creative and absolutely delicious, and the personalized service makes every visit feel special. A true standout.

   It was the most disappointing dinner and experience and I used to go to Joule since they’ve first opened in Wallingford on 45th street, almost 15 yrs ago. Sad!

    Very happy repeat customers. We brough friends from Chicago and they loved it. Especially the spicy rice cakes and exquisite seasonal asparagus w gochujang hollandaise, and of course the fabulous cocktails. The staff was lovely as always.
