Food was not what I expected for a pricy steak house. Creamed spinach and the bacon were the best part.
Seated on time. Did not feel rushed. Wasnt sure what wine to drink and server provided us with a sample, decided to buy the bottle. Proportions were notified before purchasing. Agree by saying best steakhouse in CT. Will return ask for Mark the server, hes the best.
A real let down. Steaks have zero seasoning.... not even salt. Totally flavorless. Overpriced for the quality of the meat and other ingredients.

For our 31st Anniversary, they surprised us when they brought out our dessert with candles and sang to us! Very sweet and special!!

Joseph's Steakhouse is the best place to get a steak. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. We love the ambience. Our waiter, Mark, was very nice and professional. He checked on us and provided us with everything we needed and asked for. Mark was very attentive to detail and it was obvious he took pride in his work and the restaurant. He represented Joseph's with the utmost dignity and respect.

I had rib-eye and it was fabulous. Cooked perfectly. and oh the smell when it was served, heavenly. I heated up my leftover the next day and the smell was just as good as when it came out at the restaurant. My son had the filet .... tender on the inside and crusty on the outside - delicious. I highly recommend the salad with extra thick bacon chunks.

Great traditional steakhouse. The bacon is the best I have had at any restaurant. The salads, maybe not your first thought at a steakhouse are delicious and the steaks are juicy tender and flavorful.

I took a friend there recently as he had been asking for a “good steak” dinner. My wife and I had been to Joseph’s before and had several great meals there. Joseph’s reminds me of some New York steakhouses like Gallagher’s and Peter Luger In terms of both quality, ambience and price. We had a great meal that evening and I can recommend the restaurant. We’ll be going there again soon.
The perfect place for a boys night out. Great drinks, steaks, sides, service. Ambience is terrific - reminds me of an old NY or SF steak house. A classic.

Always a treat to dine at Joseph's. First visit since COVID started and staff clearly taking appropriate precautions and thankfully no impact to the quality of the food or service.

We are regretful to hear this occurred. Our owner was generous enough to give the staff time off for the hard work they have shown during the Coronavirus epidemic. We believed we had closed our restaurant down during the week of July 3rd-9th through OpenTable, but it seems there was an error. If you could reply privately with your phone, email, or contact us through our website we would like to make this up with a bottle of wine and desserts for another time if you would still like to come by.
