   You must order the scrapple, although everything we ate was outstanding! Salad presentation was divine! Dessert, yummy! Would eat there again when in Nashville!

   I used to really enjoy Josephine, but this time the food was pretty bad and the costs had risen. We paid $37 for two scallops and a tiny blob of oxtail. They tasted fine, but not incredible. The Brussel sprouts were basically soaked in peanut sauce and were edible, but again, not great. The service was everything we needed and our server was conscientious and helpful. The free cookies on the way out were a bright spot as we left. My two drinks were good and strong, so that was another plus. I don't think I would go back any time soon, sadly.

   We had the Bolognese(lamb), gnocchi, & scallops. all were delicious. I would not recommend the brownie for dessert though.

    We were expecting a high-end dinner. I would say it was just above average The hash browns was wonderful. I have the beet salad which was good but I had it as a main course and it was pretty small. My husband had the steak and fries. The steak was good but the fries were so salty we had to send them back. They did replace them. It was cold and we requested to turn up the heat which they did after a while. We sat in the side room and not the main dining area which was a bit disappointing. The curtains were filthy with dust and we were sitting right next to them so it kind of grossed us out while eating. It wasn’t an awful experience it just wasn’t outstanding.

    I am gluten free, and the waitress was super helpful with knowing about the gluten free options and was even knowledgeable about cross contamination. Great date night vibe with delicious food!

    We had friends from out of state for dinner and it was a wonderful experience from the moment we entered! The service, the quality of all the dishes and cozy ambience made the dinner an exceptional experience. We will be sharing Josephine with more friends and family as they visit.

    As always, fabulous meal! Just delicious from first bite to last. The beef cheeks were phenomenal! My lamb was perfect and my wife loved the lobster risotto! Can’t wait to come back.

    Abby was incredible. Made our Valentine’s Day so special. That beef tongue appetizer was to die for! Only thing was the kitchen lights bleeding through the space kind of kill the softer lighting of the dining space when you sit towards the back. Thanks Josephine!

    We always enjoy Josephines but it was an off day on food last night. Disappointed as we had an out of town guest. Lobster risotto was not great and it was a new dish. Prices are very high and I'm willing to spend it if food is at its highest.

    Service was excellent with Manny! From the cocktails to the beet salad, to the scallops and the gnocchi - all was delicious. Finished our evening with coffee drinks and felt well taken care of throughout our time at Josephine.

    Great variety of beverage and food items. Service was phenomenal and loved the vibe. Great conversations were happening all around us - there was a buzz in the air! Compared to other high-end restaurants downtown, prices were a tad more (except cocktails were very much in alignment), but not overly inflated. Nice, upscale place. Great date night atmosphere!!

    My husband and I love Josephine. It’s always our special place to go to celebrate the “big moments” in life. While our service is always wonderful, Kyle really made the night feel extra special. He was an the perfect server for a perfect night out! Don’t skip the ginger cookies. They are a must have! Can’t wait to celebrate here again soon!

    Great happy hour burgers and daily rotating drink and wine specials. Great place to pop into and eat at the bar, just for a drink or at a table. Bourbon list is hard to beat.

    Josephine’s is such a treat! We looked forward to our reservation for 4 all week and we had a wonderful time. From our starter of hash browns in duck fat with truffles to our fresh salads (get the Brussels sprouts) and mains - we had the chicken, the clams, the grouper and the scallops and topped it off with an apple pie and ginger cookies, every bite was delicious. We love the cozy ambiance and excellent service and are so grateful to have this dining option in our neighborhood. Thank you, Chef Andy.

    Overall an attractive venue although our table was in view of bright fluorescent lit food prep area (suggest closing door). Crab dip appetizer was delicious but serving with warmed dinner rolls (Sister Schubert like)is not a good match. The scallops entree included two scallops which is more appropriate for listing as an appetizer. Valet parking sign but no Valet attendant… perhaps the sign should be removed.

    Food was ok. Not great. Waitress told my husband pork shanks would “fall off the bone”. They were not. I had gnocchi. Never seen it served greens. Just ok. Friend had hanger steak which was tough. Waitress failed to tell us the pastry chef was a James Beard finalist. Would have tried at least one. Saw about the pastry chef on social media when we got home. We have loved brunch at Josephine.

    Very disappointed in the service and food quality. We waited 50+ minutes for our meal to come out. No acknowledgment of the special occasion by the server. I had requested gluten-free dessert options when making the reservation. No acknowledgment or suggestions. Josephine had been a first preference for special occasions until this experience.
