Complementing the menu is a choice selection of artisanal cocktails, craft beer and wine. Our wine list emphasizes Italian and American wines.
We have breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, along with brunch on the weekends.

Eclectic menu, small portions & expensive
Food was amazing! Our waitress was super helpful with suggestions and very sweet.
Excellent meal; one of our best in NOLA.
Birthday dinner for my husband
Beautiful interior, wonderful service and delicious food. Definitely worth a visit.
Visiting New Orleans, staying at the Loews. Nice walk to the restaurant. First course came out quickly and the oysters were some of the best broiled oysters I’ve had. My husband enjoyed his calamari—grilled not fried. Second course took a little longer to come out, but was also good. I was a little surprised we spent nearly $100 with no alcohol for just the two of us, but the food was excellent and the service attentive and friendly.
Very nice ambiance and food was delicious. Even the herbal tea was good (from Palais des thés). The room is big and has high ceilings and it gives a southern/colonial feel.
One of the worse dining experiences we’ve ever had. My waiter was terrible. Not accomidating at all to our food preferences. In top of that, He was literally hitting on my girlfriend in front of my face.
If I could undo going there I absolutely would.
We enjoyed a late lunch. The food was wonderful. Their Quick Fixe Lunch was an excellent value. Dessert was an “everything” cookie—delicious! I ordered a second one! We loved the ambiance and enjoyed the music—full albums, vinyl on a turntable. The other dining opportunities in the Ave Hotel looked very nice, too, and we’ve since recommended the hotel to friends.
As we ate towards the end of an apparent happy hour and were sat near the bar, the noise level was a bit high. The food was nevertheless excellent as was the service.
Highly recommend! The beautiful high ceiling space and lighting set the mood for the beautiful and interesting food that followed. I found the Italian wine list (broken down by region) a joy to study and picked a wine from Puglia. The menu was full of Appetizer, pasta and entry choices I wanted. I noticed the chef had incorporated ramps in several dishes and knowing ramps are fresh right now I went “all ramp”, choosing oysters in ramp butter and Parmesan, followed by black drum and prawns in a ramp and tomato base. It must have been the wine because I somehow then needed the fig tart with hazelnut gelato, hazelnuts, blackberries and aged basaltic! To say I enjoyed the food would be a major understatement, and the service and atmosphere heightened the experience.
We made a selection of Baby Calamar with peas and the Angolotti to share for a starter which were both exquisite and perfectly seasoned and portioned to enjoy without spoiling our appetite for the main course. We both had the Striped Bas with Cauliflower: again perfectly cooked and delicious. To complete a lovely evening, our server Jessica provided excellent service with information on the dishes and perfect serving of the wine without having to look up once for topups. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
Service and food was great. Compliments for all
Food was below expectations. Nice atmosphere and service.
Great service, food was excellent. We ordered a few appetizers and pastas and shared everything. The pasta was very good but smaller portions. We also shared the strawberry shortcake dessert which was so good and refreshing.
We were late for our reservation after an Uber wrong turn and the staff was SO gracious. The food was wonderful (house made pasta!). They were wonderful with the kids. Just a great dining experience.
Fabulous brunch options - Danielle was an amazing server. Typically get things I would not make at home, and the short rib Benedict hit the spot. Great brunch cocktails as well.
A fantastic place to enjoy an intimate night with friends. We had a leisurely three hour dinner with cocktails, delicious appetizers and a much anticipated meal. Good music and great service. Can't wait to go back.
Each item was tasty food wise and a bit unique. We ordered Virgin drinks, a cosmopolitan and mojito that were served out of context, wrong glasses and underwhelming in presentation. Decor was nice and we would return.
This restaurant was super. I was afraid that it would be dmall plate neuvo cuisine but was impressed with the qualty and portion size
Our server was exceptional. We had the cherse plate to start andtwo appetizers - nettle toasr with burrato and a salad of brussel sprouts, broccoli and other bitter veggies. The taste of both were great. Very inventive nice restaurant.
Always great food and service - one of our favorite places to go for a date night!
Best restaurant experience in New Orleans so far!
food is wonderful and so is the service and atmosphere
I have been here many times, it was not as good as normal this trip.
Josephine Estelle served exquisite food and cocktails. The highlight was definitely the cacio e pepe- a simple pasta dish with olive oil and parmesean cheese done to PERFECTION. So decedent and every bite was better than the last.
We also tried the fried asparagus (really good with the cream sauce and mushrooms) and calamari (not my favorite but an interesting flavor combo with whole peas in the sauce). My main dish was the scallops and they were amazing. Great crisp on each side and they were clearly fresh and high quality. Served with some roasted veggies and mushrooms the flavors were simple but really highlighted the ingredients.
For cocktails I got a season gin drink that included both olive oil and egg whites and it was perfectly refreshing and delicious. Would recommend!!
The service was decent but I would have liked our server to checkin more often. My water was empty for 10 mins or so and I never saw him. He was very nice and helpful otherwise.
Some of the most delicious homemade pasta I have ever eaten!
Delicious food, but service left a lot to be desired. We were seated right next to the wait staff computer, so maybe that played into it. But we had heard that service was very personalized and thoughtful. We didn’t get that staff member I guess. Still have high ratings because food was delicious and ambiance was on-point.
Had brunch with my partner after a weekend of wedding festivities. Loved the diversity, friendliness, and courtesy of the staff (and their super cool pins). Ambiance and decor are beautiful, food was delicious and promptly served.
Service was excellent. Everything else was average.
Consistently impressive. Love coming here for cocktails or to entertain out of town friends for a fancy night out.
This is quite simply a fantastic experience. The food is extraordinary and the service super professional and helpful
It was pretty quiet when we went for brunch. We had a larger group and only about 50% enjoyed their food. The chicken biscuit was the standout and the short rib benedict. Service was slow though. Friends did not enjoy the biscuits & gravy or the shrimp and grits
The best pancakes ever! Beautiful decor and building.
Willa Jean has a great and delicious menu. It’s very fulfilling and enjoyable. Our server today was one of the best we have had. Very pleasant, professional, and efficient.
Perfect for a date! Our waiter provided excellent wine pairing suggestions for our meal and was great about our dietary restrictions!
They took Brussels sprouts off the menu but tried to accommodate us and brought some out. They were greasy and not what we remembered when they were in the menu. The food was just ok- not as good as the last time. The dinner room is beautiful and it has a nice bar.
Our server was very, very good, but service was very slow with long gaps between visits. I believe he was covering way too many tables, but from what I could tell he wasn’t rushed.
No busboys, either. Used empty dishes/glasses remained on the table well after being replaced with a new drink.
The food was delicious, the staff friendly and the surroundings warm and inviting. The only blemish was service.
Great service and food. They were able to accommodate my large group for brunch last minute and I'm really glad we discovered this restaurant! I'd definitely come back again.
Went for brunch. Very good. Shrimp & grits were excellent! Loved the turntable & vinyls. Nice touch. Beautiful building.
Food and ambiance wonderful, although noise level high. Our waiter (sorry, can't remember name) also made the evening memorable. He was attentive and funny, answered any questions we had. The sommelier also stopped by to ask about our experience. Southern hospitality at it's best. Oh, great Negroni too!
