    Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Both my husband and I selected this restaurant for the last night of our stay in the Pittsburgh area, and we left thinking we had chosen well. Highly recommend.

    All the food was amazing. The pasta with the tomato basil sauce was fantastic. We loved all the appetizers, the meatball, the zucchini and the crab balls were out of this world.

    The food was delicious but the appetizer came out and was not hot. While they appeared to have plenty of staff, our waitress had to go behind the bar for our second glass of wine. The bartender should have been able to fill our glasses in a timely manner. This is definitely a special occasion kind of place as the prices have gone up significantly since our last visit.

    Always a perfect meal whenever revisit. The apricot dressing on the house salad was divine. We were pleasantly surprised with a bass spots special. And nothing is better than Joe's pecan ball with hot fudge.

    Trendy new "hot" spots may come and go, but it's nice to know that a Pittsburgh tradition, Joseph Tambellini's is still a wonderful place for a wonderful meal and it's still SO PIXBURGH! Red sauce, spots and pecan balls are still on the menu and still terrific as is everything else. My veal chop was thick, juicy and perfect. Everyone else's choices were equally wonderful. Sevice was attentive, not overbearing. As usual, a great experience.
