The food was good and we enjoyed ourselves. Took a while to get the food, but as we went during happy hour and ordered an appetizer, that may have been part of the reasoning as to the timing of the courses, etc. Our server was excellent and made the evening very enjoyable.
It was very good except you all changed to cilantro lime rice, which is not as good as your original rice.
Always great food. The service was a little slow this time (first time we've had slow service).
Very good Mexican food for the price. Especially for a chain restaurant.
Fun place, but food average. Our waitress was very attentive. My husband enjoyed his meal. But even though we had the same thing, I was disappointed, I felt it was not seasoned well.
This is a fun neighborhood restaurant. The seating through Open Table was immediate. The service is always friendly and quick.
The entire staff was so accomadating for our group. Service was fantastic and friendly. Waitress was very attentive.
Although a few minutes early, we were seated within moments of our arrival. We opted for the verandah, which was wonderful as it was much quieter. It was not hot, as some might expect. The service was great and the food was good. I do have an issue with paying a surcharge for the spicy salsa; that was not expected. The sopapillas were overcooked and not worth the effort. Overall, this was still a very pleasant experience.
Waitress was awesome. Food came out hot and fast and the beer was cold.
Great food great service
Excellent food. Fast service, good people. The ambiance was excellent, also.
We go often. With reservation always seated and greeted quickly.
Service was a bit slow but friendly.
Food is always nicely presented and consistently good.
Best green chili we have found in Colorado Springs
Made reservations online. Arrived about 10 minutes early and was immediately seated. Service was very good. Always seemed to show up just when needed. Food was great and quick. All around great experience
I love that we can ask for a quieter area on OpenTable. We had a chance to catch up with a good friend. We went early enough for happy hour margaritas and less expensive appetizers, so I just made a meal of appetizers (queso and quesadillas). Yum! I like this Jose's better than the downtown, because there is free parking!
Service was very good as was the food. It was very busy, even at 5:00 pm, but everything went smoothly and we were never rushed.
Beat the line and use Open Table! We got there for our last visit and the waiting area was full but our party of 3 was seated immediately! Love the fish tacos and the Mean Green chili!
We used to go to Muldoon's East every Monday - 4 adults and 1 child. Then they had flat beer and not good service, so we went elsewhere. We gave them another chance and they were good again. This past visit was not good. We had three different kinds of beer and they were all FLAT. We complained and they brought replacements. They were marginally better but not much. We even had explained to us that one of the beers was not very effervescent to begin with. Yeah - we know what's it's supposed to taste like, we've had it before. Service was excellent from our waitress but if you go somewhere for beer, you want to enjoy it. Food was not very hot when we got it. Guess we'll be going elsewhere again.
Service was terrible. Food was okay. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
Really‽ No refills on chips? That is not cool!
Great service from Ashley. Always have our table ready and they remember our orders!
This last visit was better than it's been in months. Some really good changes have been made and we were really impressed.
Good soup, great desert flan sampler. Support staff didn't refill chips or clear soup bowls through entire meal
Our server was outstanding!! We had an infant and a toddler with us and she was very good with them. She was very attentive and you could tell she loved people.
Great atmosphere. Great service. Would definitely go back.
Some authentic Mexican music would be a nice touch. Can't stand to hear that ubiquitous lousy Pop music while eating your wonderful TexMex food!
It's bad enough to have to endure it while accompanying my wife while she shops at Penneys, Sears and Kohls!
Jose Muldoons is an above average Mexican restaurant with very good food, friendly helpful staff. The margaritas are very good. It can be very loud at times, seating is plentiful and they have a good bar with multiple TVs and an impressive tequila selection.
Food was excellent & our server Brian was one of the best I've had! Friendly, efficient, & made our experience all the more enjoyable!
Jose Muldoon's East is a good place to go after a long day - a place to unwind, eat good food, and relax. I especially recommend the chocolate cake!
Ashley screwed up several of our orders, then acted like she'd try to be nice and have the incorrect ones taken off. Manager came out to discuss it with us and argued with us about what the orders should have been. We go almost every week so are kind of familiar with the happy hour menu. Only one order was correct out of four and we just ate some of the others because it was easier. Manager did take off some charges but looking over it later we only came out about the same moneywise as we should have - except we didn't get what we wanted to eat. We are thinking we'll try somewhere else for a while. Ashley was congenial but never actually apologized for ruining our evening.
The food was ok. Different, but not out of this world. The food was good there, some 5 years ago. There are better Mexican food places.
Great food, great service, loved Valentine's special.
My husband and I went to Jose's just as the Championship game was ending. The food was wonderful and authentic and the service was great. Can't wait to go back.
Derek was our server and he did an excellent job. Food came out quickly and he was very attentive.
We went to this restaurant to get a night away to talk and requested a romantic table. The hostess was great and found us a table right next to a gas fireplace - she even turned it on for us! The waitress was really great, attentive, and friendly. It happened to be happy hour which means that Margarita's were only $3 and my wife said it was tasty. The chips and salsa were only fair. My wife got al la carte enchiladas and tortilla soup while I got a fajita burrito with rice and beans - the burrito was covered in chili con queso, which I really love! Overall, we'd both say that the food was tasty and reasonably priced, especially considering we had living social deal that gave us $10 off. We'd go back because of the ambiance and the decent food, which reminded me of home in Texas.
Had great service and enjoyed happy hour prices before we ate.
When we book with Open Table we are always seated immediately. This night we had perhaps the best service we have ever had. There have been times when we couldn't say that! Our server was also the bartender (tall dark haired male). He was excellent and not only took care of the bar but gave us SUPER service. He was assisted by a female bartender (neither gave us their names). They both took great care of us and the food was good, too! Great service can make up for mediocre food, but in this case both were good.
I totally love double dipping at this restaurant. We get rewards from Open Table and rewards from the Locals (frequent eater) card. How spectacularly fun is that? Plus, we got there just before 7 pm and were able to slide in some orders for Happy Hour. Overall, a great experience!
We eat here about once a month and usually have a good experience. The house margaritas are not good at all. They are tempting to buy during happy hour, but it is definitely worth paying to upgrade to a premium margarita. Our favorite is the Volcano. It is meant for two so unless you have someone else driving you, don't try to drink it alone. It has approximately 6 shots of premium alcohol and tastes great. It is served in a large 26 oz. glass. The service here is good. You will not have to wait long and there are usually plenty of chips and salsa to keep you occupied until your food comes out. They give big portions and the prices are reasonable. If you don't want to take some food home with you, you may try just sharing a plate.
I signed up for OpenTable on our way to pick up our friend. Great dedicated parking compared to the downtown location. We were seated immediately upon arrival. It's so awesome that our waitress introduced herself as she deposited chips and salsa on our table. We went in a little early (about 30-minutes before happy hour: 4-7 pm, 11 pm-close). We put in our orders and our waitress remembered and brought us our happy hour goodies as soon as happy hour started. My husband and I split a Chicken Topolobampo (really awesome burrito thing) and swapped out the chile with chile con queso. The waitress brought us an extra plate. Afterwards, we stuck around and caught up with our friend. We signed up for the Local and Loyal reward club (basically $10 back for every $100). I'm very happy with the rewards, happy hour, food, and service.
Our waitress was okay but so overwhelmed that the service we received was horrible. It took us 3-4 times of asking to get anything. The tacos were soggy and watery, the kids nachos were so burned they were inedible, the chip baskets were half full of slivers of tortilla chips, and by the time we left we felt like our waitress hated us. It was pretty awesome. We won't be back for Taco Tuesday. We may try it again but it won't be for a while. This location used to be great. I don't know what happened.
