Jose and Sons
"Intentionally or not, with the opening of Jose and Sons the Ibarras have also created a gastronomic symbol for the cultural melting pot that our region is increasingly becoming."
"Painted around the base of the bar, in large block capital letters, are the words “HECHO EN RALEIGH.” I can’t think of a more suitable motto for a restaurant that embodies the best of our rapidly evolving local dining scene."

Celebrated a birthday. Server was excellent and noted the occasion. Food was very good - untraditional Mexican. Margaritas were average but I still had two! Enjoyable experience.
Great alternative to a traditional brunch. I'm gluten free and Mexican always gives me some good choices. I just wish they had more egg dishes on their brunch menu. Bloody Mary's were great!!
We were celebrating a family adult birthday and we all had a good time . The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. The wait person was professional and friendly. We were left alone after we ate so we could converse and catch up on our family without feeling like we should leave so you could turn the table. Everyone did mention the music was a little loud.
As soon as me and my husband walked through the door we were greeted and led to our table. Our waiter was very nice and helpful with explaining the menu. He was very attentive to our table. We really enjoyed ourselves.
A meal at Jose & Sons has become an after-vacation tradition for us that helps us enjoy coming back home. We always enjoy our meals/options here and the flavors are oh so mouth-watering.
Fabulous brunch enchiladas. Full sized plate and of course, couldn't pass up the guaguamole. Just a great place.
I made reservations for my best friends birthday and a few extra people wound up coming last minute and our server (I forgot her name but i know she was from NY off her accent) was amazing!!!! She was very accommodating, she was on top of everyone’s drinks, Made sure everyone’s food was good etc. She made me want to come back again
Just not a fan. Server didn't listen. It was just a waste of money.
The parfait would be even more amazing paired with fresh fruit
The food is good and customer service is great
Much better than average Mexican food. Great service, nice atmosphere.
Went for Sunday Brunch. We shared the skillet - it was huge - enough for 2. Very good brunch menu - service was a little inattentive, but not too bad. Overall great value and experience for Sunday brunch after Church!
Delicious food! The corn is my favorite. I wish there were more main entrees on the menu, though. Attentive wait staff. Beautiful restaurant.
Awesome time great food
Favorite Mexican restaurant in the Raleigh area! ❤️
The atmosphere is casual and cozy. Our server was attentive and efficient.
I had the street corn and brussel sprouts. The corn was ok, a bit overcooked and lacking a spicy bite. The brussel sprouts were excellent, nicely charred and the apple made them slightly sweet. The house marjuarrita was a good compliment to the chips and salsa.
My husband had the pork belly and waffle. It came with very soft boiled eggs that I wouldn't have touched but he love them with the waffles. Said he wished the place was empty so he could lick the plate.
The host set the tone, and the server never changed that tone. Walking in I was greeted by a seemingly nice pair of young ladies. When asked how I was, I responded and returned the inquiry but was then met with blank stares and growing discomfort. When seated, I waited about 5 minutes for my sever to introduce himself. Then I didn’t see him again until my friend arrived 15 minutes later. In that time I had to ask another server for a beer because I couldn’t get my server’s attention. The guacamole was fantastic, and the black beans and rice were also very good and well seasoned. However, I was not a fan of the fish tacos that were over dressed in a tartar-like sauce. I would go back again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
Food was wonderful, waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable. Nice experience and the price was a little high in spots. The drinks were good although a little pricey. Meal for two and drinks with tip was 140.
Everything was delicious! The sweet potato tacos were my favorite.
Awesome service, awesome food
The dishes offered for restaurant week were disappointing. I expected them to be the restaurant's best offerings.
Went for restaurant week and it was great! Pineapple margarita was delicious and had the chile relleno which was AMAZING! Super cute and open space and would definitely go back
Great experience! They went extra mile to help me in my low-carb quest. Hubby said the shrimp n grits were one of the best he’s ever had! We will be back!
From the location in Raleigh, NC's Warehouse district to the food and drinks served, Jose & Sons delivers exactly as promised. The food is excellent and service was perfect.
The food is amazing! Love the atmosphere and drinks too! Great for parties.
Food was very good, unique take on classic food. Service was outstanding. If I lived closer I would frequent twice a week.
Son, lemme tell you a story bout Jose and his many many beautiful sons.
Excellent staff and amazing food! We will definitely be back!
Ashley, our server, was amazing and her suggestions were greatly appreciated. Food was great!
The food was excellent, as always! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the fish tacos and familia chef’s picnic are my faves.
We always love coming to Jose and Sons. The food is always fantastic and the service is the same.
The collard tamales were fantastic! In fact, the only disappointment was the fish tacos - too much tartar sauce on top. (Maybe serve it on the side next time?) but all the food was fresh, expertly prepared, and pretty delicious. Can't wait to go back and try something else!
Overall good experience. Ceviche was fabulous! Food was good but really heavy.
What a lovely evening! George is a fantastic waiter and went out of his way to make sure the three of us had a fantastic evening! He was super attentive, despite having tables both inside and out— and took the time to tell us his menu favorites and talk to us in such a nice/ personal way! The cocktails were creative— the food was delicious! I loved how they integrated North Carolina ingredients throughout each dish! The tres leches cake is a MUST! thank you!
Generous portions and delicious food. The cocktail special was spicy but not OMG hot
We have been dining here since it opened and it never disappoints. From the crank arm to the ceviche everything is great
One of our favorite places
Would have liked a more diverse selection or at least one or two traditional dishes. Great setting and service just hard to choose a dish.
The corn was excellent!
Very helpful server who shared his favorite dishes with us. Appetizers were phenomenal. The rest of the meal showed great creativity.
