The server forgot to put our food order in, so it took an hour to get two orders of pancakes. But, they acknowledged the error and apologized and brought out a complementary order of monkey bread which was a nice gesture.
We arrived before our reservation time so we sat at the bar and decided to eat there also. Our bartender was friendly and very knowledgeable about the full menu....also our drinks were delicious.I ordered the family up north and I can't commend it enough.I'll even go as far as to say it was the Best drink that I've ever had.Good job you guys... I will definitely recommend Jones to family and friends.
Always consistent and always pleasant there! Never had a bad meal or bad service.
Food and service were very good. Definitely will visit again
Dirty glass - dirty silverware - uncomfortable seating - slow service - food is just ok
Our server was very attentive when they needed to be and gave us space when we needed it
Visiting from out of town
Love this place. It’s a great place to grab a bite before the walnut Theater show. The food is delicious. The Sunday night beef brisket dinner is tender, savory and melts in your mouth. The fried chicken, crispy but juicy and tender. And you must never leave without having the warm chocolate chip cookie. My mouth is watering just typing this up. Thanks for an amazing dinner. Jones never lets you down.
We had two young children and still enjoyed ourselves very much. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.
It’s a little loud for conversation. Could have had a little more ambience. But overall great!
Tasty food but music a little too loud. Pleasant servers.. Vegetarian options limited,
Came here with my wife and some friends while in philly a few days ago. The food was good, the tots are bomb. Just a little too salty. But also it looked like they cut the edges off of my bennys, which makes the meal a lot less filling. We got the bottomless mimosas which was $25 for the table. Years ago it was $25/pp. So I’m glad they have changed that. Jones is a fave, I’ll definitely be back.
Good selection and large portions.
Always enjoy stopping in it Jones when in Philly. Monkey Bread is always a hit with the kids and the custom crafted Bloody Marys were enjoyed by the adults.
Super cute brunch spot! They have a mimosa deal and delicious plates for any palate.
Jones was recommended to us for our first time to Philly by several people. We arrived earlier than our reservations and they sat us early which was great! Food was awesome, the waiter was so friendly and efficient! The atmosphere is really cool and nice
But not so fancy that you can’t dress comfortably and bring kids. We will absolutely be back.
Our server Shane did an excellent job during a very busy shift on a Saturday night. Recommendations were good and he even passed along our request to the chef to grill the Romaine lettuce for our Ceaser salad....made it very tasty.
Sat upstairs this time...not as nice and downstairs...but quieter.
Jones had beautiful decor and the vibes were great. The only downfall was I was seated upstairs with no view of the main restaurant floor. The chicken and waffles was amazing. Bucks bunny cocktail was delicious too.
First visit to Jones. Loved the chicken and waffles....the posted reviews are correct. My husband had a turkey club....made on two pieces of rye..but very generous and tasty. Served with piping hot fries that were the perfect accompaniment. Only problem...it was too cold out to order an adult milkshake for dessert. Will return in spring.
Service and lighting were good. Food was great. A bit noisy inside. Otherwise a great experience.
First time experience and I was pleased.. the food was delicious. The service was awesome. We appreciated how management walked around introducing themselves and checking on our table as well as our server did. Very helpful and didn’t mind going the extra mile to accommodate us.
It was wonderful
Solid food, nice place, great service. I would certainly go again!
Loved the ambience. Waitress we had was great!
Ideal location for date night. Brought a friend here and that was all we could talk about based on the atmosphere, style, and service. Food was delicious and well priced. It's nice that this restaurant has the options of milkshakes for desserts. That itself made our night. Definitely will return.
Such a great space to catch up with girlfriends!!! We will definitely be returning!
The service was slow and my order came out wrong initially. The fried chicken is nothing special.
Jones is my go to place when I want a casual, good value meal. Had never been there before for brunch, and was not disappointed. Food was inventive and delicious. Spinach and feta omelet an A plus!
All the food taste like home cooking from my youth.
My only question is why skimp on a scoop of ice cream to end a really great meal.
How much could it cost the restaurant to give a dip of ice cream bigger than a kiddie portion?
Great service, excellent food and fun atmosphere.
This was our first time at Jones, and it delivered on what it claims to be. It was comfort food done very well. 4 of us went, and each of us loved what we got for dinner! The highlights of the night were the mac and cheese and the fried chicken. Desserts were great also, and our server was attentive and friendly. Prices were very reasonable. We would be happy to go back!
Saturday night at 7:30, we noted in the reservation that it was a birthday celebration. We were seated upstairs which was both good and bad. Good in that it was extremely noisy on the first level. The music was way to loud which probably caused guest to have to talk over it adding to the overall noise level. The bad thing(s) about being upstairs is that there is NO view or atmosphere. It felt kinda like we were seated at the children’s table while the party went on below without us. Adjacent tables were cleared but dirty and there was food on the floor. It took way to long before we were acknowledged....so we waited...with only a view of dirty tables and floor to look at.
(On a side note: I was wearing a fracture cast to the knee and while I was able to slowly navigate the stairs, my limp and situation was certainly noticeable. Had the host/hostess been more aware of the guests they were seating...we may have been offered first floor seating.)
The food was excellent. Zucchini frites were the best fried zucchini I’ve ever tasted! Paper thin slices lightly coated with cornmeal... fried to crispy perfection...and dusted with parmesan and pepper flakes. Shrimp and grits were cheesy and bacon-y goodness topped with a rich blush type sauce. The shrimp themselves were plentiful and good... but not exceptional. Turkey dinner was comfort food reminiscent of what grandma made. My dining partner and the food quality made the evening memorable while there is much about the experience that is worth forgetting. We were served a good meal but there was nothing about the experience that made us feel “special”... or that they appreciated our business.
Good place for brunch and to bring kids. The Cobb salad with chicken was a disappointment. Way too much blue cheese and the chicken was not great. I will come back but stick to more of the classic ordering options.
Took my two granddaughters for lunch before the Walnut Street Theater. The 6 year old will ONLY eat at Jones when we are in the city. Now she has turned her 3 year old sister into a fan. Food was great as always. They ordered chocolate chip pancakes and I had a taste - I don’t like pancakes, and these were outstanding. My tuna taco was delicious. Thanks Jones for another great dining experience with my girls.
Table location was not so good, even with a reservation Service was great. Food was awesome, as usual.
This is was my second time doing brunch at jones and I highly recommend. The bottomless mimosas is a great deal and the food is always good, hot, and delivered to my table in a timely manner. I was running a little late for my reservation (which I usually do) and i was still treated nicely. I love jones and I think everyone should go!!
Lively establishment, great food, accommodating and friendly staff. Love this place.
I loved this place. The mac n cheese and tuna tacos were my favorite!
