Jonathan's Ristorante - Huntington Village
Jonathan's Ristorante has been around for 24 years, serving up popular dishes like our Tuna Tartare appetizer, Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Butter, or the Mediterranean Branzino.
Happy Hour offered through the week is the best way to have a fun night out with friends, serving fresh oysters and hand crafted cocktails. Our Wine List offers an incredible selection by the glass and bottle as well.
Jonathan's Ristorante is located on 15 Wall Street in the heart of Huntington Village, with proximity to The Paramount Theatre for a show, Cinema Arts Centre and AMC Loews for a movie night.
Came here because I won a gift certificate and had tickets to a show at the Paramount. We were seated promptly as it was early and ordered drinks. The restaurant is nice and welcoming. Our server was very attentive. We ordered the fritto misto to start. Calamari was chewy and hard, shrimp was ok and the zucchini was missing. Half chicken was just ok and the halibut which was a special was extremely dry. We were glad we had a gift certificate for this dinner because would not like to have paid for this subpar meal.
Also it was a beautiful evening so both the front door and rear door were open and the smell of cigarette smoke was a big turnoff.
Food was excellent. Service was ok. Waiter was nice but could have been much more attentive. Waited almost 20 minutes for drinks at the table.
We went to dinner with my sister and brother in law. We always love the food at Jonathans', this time was just as wonderful as the last. The service with Tanya was outstanding.
Two of us ordered hamburgers which were perfection. Cooked exactly as ordered juicy and delicious with caramelized onions to die from ( we don’t often eat hamburgers anymore but this one was worth it).
The other two ordered the Frito Misto which came undercooked . Was sent back and did not come back any better. Waiter had charge removed.
The Halibut special was absolutely delicious!
Great food pleasant atmosphere in a convenient location. Thourgly enjoyed our dinner there. The Branzino was supurb with a lemon?caper sauce. The room was a bit noisy as there was a large party next to us but tolerable. The service was OK, but should be considerable better if you want to be considered a top restaurant.
Excellent food. Pricey but worth it. The tuna tartar was superb and the steak was cooked perfectly.
All good. Food service ambiance.
It was an unusually quiet night in Huntington but that made it a perfect night in Jonathan’s. The food was delicious, the restaurant wasn’t too loud, and we weren’t rushed. All in all it was a lovely evening at Jonathan’s.
Food was excellent- tuna tartar appetizer awesome!!
We have been coming here for years. The food is consistently good. From the minute you walk in until you leave the service is impeccable. The staff is very friendly and they can’t do enough for you. It’s our go to restaurant.
Always have a great meal at Jonathan's. The servicers are all pleasant and effecient. The reason I had noise as moderate there was a singer that night. He was very good and not so loud that is interrupted the conversation, just added a bit to the noise level.
Would definitely recommend Jonathan's.
Great quality good value for an upscale restaurant
Food was great, the service spot on and enjoyed dining outside on the back patio on a perfect summer eve. What could be better.
Johnathan’s was very disappointing. The pasta portions were good but very small and the price turned out to be high.
The price next to the portions listed “A” and “P”. Since this was lunch and the potions were small we assumed the lower price which had the “A” next to it.
No, the “A” we were told by the waitress was for an appetizer portion which was very small. I truly cannot see a smaller portion. Of course the waitress hadn’t pointed any of this out before we ordered.
Thus, we were disappointed. My sister who was with us and had decided to take her husband to dinner here decided not to do so. I had decided to take my former secretary here for lunch will not be doing so.
A good Resturant doesn’t play silly games with small overpriced portions.
$32.00 fix menu was outstanding....the Duck to die for, good amount of shrimp in my stripped shrimp dish. Eggplant app was huge and delicious. We all enjoyed our dinner.
Wait staff was exceptional....very attentive and friendly..
The food was generally very good, as usual. And the waitress was very nice and attentive. However, the wait was exceedingly long. We were there two hours because it took a long time to get drinks, a longer time to get appetizers and then a long time for the main course. We did not stay for desert or coffee since we had already been there two hours and did not want to wait any longer.
Fantastic dinner. This was our 1st time at Jonathan and won't be our last.
Carol and I dined at Jonathan's two weeks in a row, and both experiences were superb. The food was excellent, and we received friendly and attentive service on the first evening, our anniversary, from Margaret, and the second night, with a friend, from Danielle. We have so many good choices in Huntington Village; Jonathan's is becoming our first choice.
Great food, service and atmosphere.
Although we ate early - 5:30 on a weekday, it became extremely noisy - uncomfortably so
The price fixed menu has way to many upcharges - better to increase across the board, than have almost everything as an upcharge.
Food delicious as always but WAY too loud
Difficult to maintain conversation
The noise level made it a very uncomfortable experience .we could barely hear the waitress tell us about the specials.
Too noisy inside, we sat outside, it was our anniversary. We felt like we were forgotten about outside, our waitress took 15 minutes to greet us, 10 minutes for water, once we ordered a drink, it was 20 minutes before we started to drink it. They took our order then, came out fine, very small portion, never had bread or anything on the table? Food was ok, outside, it was a little windy, ( not their fault ! ) but the trees kept blowing leaves and stuff on our table and in our drinks. When I asked the waitress for another drink, she huffed and wanted to charge me until a manager came over and smoothed it out. It just felt like we were inconveniencing them there. 20 other places that are right next door to them, will not be returning
Overpriced. Very small portions. When asked about martini being half full as we watched it spiill all over the tray as it was being brought over, was told it was new glasses that were bigger that made them look half empty. Charged $3.50 for small seltzer and each additional refill. $15 for half order of completely plain pasta that was three bites. Won't be back.
Great for everyday dinning to impress a date a special occasion. The best restaurant in Huntington by far
The food was excellent and our waiter Margaret was first-class.
A definite Huntington favorite! Incredible food and atmosphere. Roberto the owner makes you feel welcome and part of the family. Alex the GM runs a solid ship and is also so warm and accommodating. Sebastian is the best mixologist! You will have a guaranteed wonderful fine dining experience!!!! Don’t miss this gem!
Wonderful. It is one of my favorite restaurants. Good food and great ambience.
Best restaurant in Huntington and the whole area quite frankly. We love Jonathan’s.
Jonathan's never seems to disappoint on food or service. It's the high noise level that keeps me from going there more often. The noise level obviously depends on where you are sitting and the noise level of nearby tables but but it's difficult to have a quiet meal there even on a weekdays.
If you want a really nice night out, maybe celebrating a special event or just want really delicious food - this is the place to go. It is AMAZING!
Have never been disappointed. Food and service always excellent.
Always great food and service.
Our waitress, Kelly, was outstanding. They accommodated multiple food specifications that were challenging. The food is pricey but delicious. It's a great special occasion dining experience.
Great food, excellent service!
Jonathan's has been a staple of the Huntington restaurant scene for many years. After dining there I am happily reminded why. Great food in comfortable surroundings and a professional service staff that provides friendly attentive yet never did I feel rushed . The flatiron steak was cooked as ordered and well seasoned. I was glad the peppercorn sauce was served on the side. It was delicious but the steak didn't need it. A great dining experience.
We discovered this restaurant about a month ago and have gone back once. We were please with the exceptional quality of the food and service each time. Restaurants that have adopted the modern trend of hard tile or stone floors tend to be acoustically hard and thus somewhat noisy. Jonathan's in Huntington is a bit hard, but I could still hear a guest with a low voice at our table most of the time. I and my wife do recommend this restaurant. It is well above average.
Lovely dinner out, the pastas are always excellent. We also had the Branzino which also was very good. One of Huntington’s truly best restaurants .
Tanya was great! Food amazing!
