Jonathan's Ristorante - Huntington Village
Jonathan's Ristorante has been around for 24 years, serving up popular dishes like our Tuna Tartare appetizer, Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Butter, or the Mediterranean Branzino.
Happy Hour offered through the week is the best way to have a fun night out with friends, serving fresh oysters and hand crafted cocktails. Our Wine List offers an incredible selection by the glass and bottle as well.
Jonathan's Ristorante is located on 15 Wall Street in the heart of Huntington Village, with proximity to The Paramount Theatre for a show, Cinema Arts Centre and AMC Loews for a movie night.
As always, we found Jonathon's to be a very fine place to have dinner. The food was very good. The wine was excellent and the ambience is very relaxing and friendly. We will be back without doubt. Keep up the good work.
By the way, our daughter Jeannie lives in London. When she comes back for a visit and I pick her up at the airport, the first place she always wants to go is Jonathons for a couple of glasses of champagne at the bar. She doesn't feel at home until she's done that.
All the best, Pat Dumas.
Great Service and great food!
The service was exceptional. The food was very good. We had the price fixed menu. It was a very nice meal with a nice price.
Love the décor, with a warm and friendly feeling. Not the modern bare industrial look. It felt like dining in your own home. The tables were nicely spaced out.
We waited more then 30 minutes to be seated even though we were on time for our reservation. Then when we were seated it took 15 minutes before we got a menu and more than 45 minutes before they brought out our appetizer. While the food was very good do not think we will go back there.
Much too noisy. Could not hear each other at the table. Our table was in the bar behind the hostess stand
Very pricey for the area, especially the wine list. Varied menu. Good ambiance except for the “paintings”... dogs?!?!
Love Jonathans and have been going there often for years. We had a reservation but couldn't get a table right away...prob took the better part of 45 minutes. To be fair we were offered but refused the table in the bar area where there was a lot of people and more noise. They must have a lot of walk-ins because when I made the reserve the day before, time slots were wide open. Nonetheless, the fabulous manager, Alex, knew we waited and made sure the restaurant picked up a round of drinks.....service is great! And food is one of the best in Huntington.
Always reliable, excellent food and service. Appreciate availability of reservations....even for 2.
One of our favorite restaurants in Huntington but the service was not good. This is unusual but we brought friends for their first dinner there so that was a shame. Hope they will be back. Once we got our dinners we were happy but it took forever
Always my fav !
Food and service was good but restaurant was extremely noisy.
Bad experience. Waited in a crowded squeezed-in area by a storage closet for 30 minutes after our booked reservation to be seated. Everybody was running all around the place. Tables haphazardly situated. Extremely LOUD. Service awful. Waitress ran off with only 1 drink order to start and never returned with the drink or to take more orders. The menu very unconventional. We pulled the plug and left. Mystery why any one would go there. Beware. Honestly.
Went to Jonathons for the first time this past Saturday night. We reserved outside seating or corner table inside. We got neither. We were seated quickly which was nice however it took very long to get water and bread. Once we ordered drinks that took long as well. Once we ordered appetizers and dinner it took awhile for the appetizer to come out and even a longer time for our main course. The food was quite good but not very large portions like some other restaurants that we go to. Not sure if I would go back unless I was guaranteed outside seating in nice weather of course. Just felt like I could get alot more for my money and amazing food at other places like Chris & Tony's where they if it down to a science no matter how crowded they are.
We have been here many many times. Never have we’ve been disappointed. The service is terrific and the food outstanding continues to be our favorite!!!
It’s akways excellent
Each time we’ve been here never
Great intimate and cozy restaurant
Staff very considerate and food constantly wonderful
I haven't been to Jonathan's in quite a while and I am so happy that we chose to go there for a small group of women dining out. The beauty of the restaurant is that a good amount of the tables (for groups) are ROUND - that is not common. How perfect for meaningful conversation with the whole group.
The food and the service were outstanding and I will certainly return.
Restaurant was very good. Food excellent, I have been there several times.
It was a Saturday night and as expected, very noisy.
I would go again but at a different time.
Took two of my friends to Jonathan's for a birthday dinner. We selected from the Price Fixed menu. Excellent variety of choices from appetizers to deserts. Service was exemplary and food delicious. We were all pleased with our dinner and would definitely revisit this restaurant. We went at 5:30 and it was quiet although it got a little bit more noisy as the evening progressed.
We arrived as a table of seven at Jonathan's Ristorante; for 4 of us, this was our first visit. Several of us ordered from a prix-fixe menu that included appetizer, entrée and dessert for a very fair price. The others ordered from the menu. Service was good and pace of the meal was excellent. We were able to enjoy a bread basket and beverages before appetizers were brought to the table. The eggplant appetizer was enough to share for two - and a couple of us who didn't order appetizers took advantage!
Everyone enjoyed their entrées. We all ordered a variety of items. The Bell & Evans chicken dish that I ate was delicious. It was equivalent to a great homecooked meal. I ordinarily do not like dishes like chicken francaise due to the an overwhelming lemony taste but the lemon sauce on this chicken was really good.
We all liked our desserts and coffees. Again, a few of us were able to "share" our desserts. When you visit a restaurant and enjoy your first meal that is always a good sign and we will be back.
You have to get the double cut pork chop! It was the best pork chop I ever had!!!
Second or third time dining here and never disappointed. Food is very good, service was good and a great wine list too! I bought two bottles and did not mind paying the $30.00 per bottle fee to drink out of very nice crystal champagne flutes and wine glasses. Each guest had a different dish this evening. To start we shared a burrata salad and Mushroom rice balls. The truffle infused oil gave the rice a delicious earthiness. For a main I had the Halibut special which was cook nicely a tad under seasoned for me but still delicious. Another guest had the Double cut Pork chop which was perfectly seasoned and was cooked perfectly moist. The third guest had the duck Breast (my first choice.) Again, the duck breast nicely seasoned cooked medium rare and was moist and tender. The third guest had the tagliatellel pasta with and eggplant based ragu style sauce.
every thing good noise level in front of restaurant much too loud.. advise sitting in back
Jonathan’s is consistently excellent! It is near impossible for a restaurant to achieve consistent results. I believe that is the highest rating for a restaurant. Their food is always great! Something for everyone! Seafood, meat, pasta, whatever you want. I highly recommend!
Excellent food. Double cut pork chop was amazing
The food for both my husband and I had absolutely no taste.
Restaurant was not busy. Bread at table excellent. Three slices for four but replenished when requested.
Olive oil was in one small ramekin that you had to tilt to pour on plate. This should be upgraded.
Little small ramekin of olives.
Both cosmos and their special pear martinis were sour and had to be remade. Vodka w lime was watered down by watery ice. Second drink, diner requested vodka straight up w ice on side. Not a good start.
Appetizers of beet salad, eggplant parm, tiny crab cake, and prosciutto with accompaniments were very good.
Restaurant was warm. AC did not seem to be at proper temp.
Main courses: roast chicken dry overdone, duck w blackberry sauce overdone (not the med rare as advised and ordered), scallops over risotto ex but small portion.
In general, with more attention to proper doneness, and in the case of small crab cake and scallop risotto portions...all could have been winners.
Desserts: gelato, chocolate concoction ex, brioche bread pudding okay.
Service was okay but harried.
Great restaurant. However overbooked so reservation not honored. Extremely loud. Would avoid Friday and Saturday nights.
Food here is always outstanding and the service is excellent.
Jonathan's is number one in my book....Their Menu has always new and innovative additions from cocktails to desserts that are so pleasing to the palate...I am always so happy with every visit here and am so looking forward to my next reservation.....
Have not eaten here in a while and I am not one to comment often but the noise level was the worst I have ever experienced in a restaurant my wife and I ears are still ringing hours after a fair at best meal. Ear plugs should be served as an appetizer to survive be rest of the meal .
Friendly professional service with well prepared meals.
Amazing food, amazing service, overall great place. Would definitely come back
The food was very good! Risotto dish had about 4 -5 shellfish items were unopened everything else was excellent. The waiter Mike was outstanding and so were the runners. Great experience overall!
Never disappointed!! Best in town!!!
One of our favorite places in Huntington. Highly recommend
Great service and the food was excellent!!!!!
I am always happy with our evening when we dine at Jonathan's Ristorante. Friendly service by many long-time employees, and, consistently good food. I never hesitate to go here!
First time here and we really enjoyed our meal.
I had bronzini and my husband had the duck both were delicious!
Jonathan’s is a very good restaurant in Huntington. I believe they were understaffed for the number of guests having dinner. I think the waitress was spread too thin.
Jonathan's is a Huntington staple and we've been going for many years. The food is always well prepared and in good portions. Double cut pork chop, salmon and half roast chicken are my favorites. On our recent visit we had soft shell crabs which were delicious.
Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgable. The restaurant was crowded, which is understandable for a Saturday night, so on the noisy side. Generally on week days it is still busy but not jammed.
My only complaint was that the tables seem closer together. Maybe they added tables recently or just for Saturday night crowds. The great food, however, masks any complaint about the ambience.
