We generally use our Special Event menus as a base guideline for menus but, as always with Jonathan's, we may personalize any menu to meet your needs! Jonathan's offers 5 dining rooms that can be used as private dining rooms along with a 3,000 square foot ballroom. Each room may be used for various different occasions and timing. There were four in our party we were seated exactly when our reservation was for. It was a full house, Everyone in our party ordered something different and each one of us thought the food was delicious. The service was great we had a very nice time and will be back for sure.

We were seated right next to the kitchen. They were training a new person. There were three people coming to our table. yet we had to wait for everything.I had to ask for butter had to wait for water. Somebody decided to bring their little kid in for a Valentines dinner, that was annoying. Overall the experience with meh, probably won’t be going back.

This is a mixed review. We were really looking forward to this dinner. It started out great. Very nice place, took our drink and dinner orders right away. Both my dinner mates enjoyed their chicken. My scallops were overdone and rubbery. The problem was basically after the meals were brought, we never saw either wait person for the rest of the meal. Never came by to ask how our meals were; never asked if we wanted a second round of drinks or even refilled our water glasses. With entrees in the $40 to $57 range, you expect excellent service to match the prices. It put a real damper on what was otherwise a lovely New Year's Eve. We won't be going back.

The seafood chowder was amazing. I wanted every single one of the entrees. It was hard to decide what to get. The tables are nicely spaced and the background music is not intrusive. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I really recommend it.

Food was good, not great. Definitely pricey. We were there on a concert package which included a $25/person disount, if not for that we probably would have gone elsewhere. Place was very nice, seemed quiet with the amount of folks in our room. Two servers waiting our table the were very nice, professional, accommodating.

Enjoyed our first dinner at Jonathan's. Food and service were very good. Hard to decide between the many good options on the menu but scallops and chicken piccata were both delicious. We were seated in a side room which was nice and quiet. Beautiful Christmas tree in the room and trees outside the windows were lighted. Nice to have parking right out front too.

Food was great. We had the stiffed haddock, shrimp cocktail and apple crisp. Restaurant is decorated for Christmas-very pretty. Service was excellent too. We also went to the tribute to John Denver show. Really good!!

Our server was very pleasant and obvious hard worker. Our concerns where we got 3 dinner rolls while all around us got a bread basket filled with different breads. Our entree came to quickly, barely through our salads. My chicken piccata was dry with about a tablespoon of delicious butter wine sauce and 5 capers. Husbands entre was fillet mignon and to be honest looked like a regular steak. It was chewy not worth $50. It was packed when we left. We will give it another chance, but not soon.

Perfect location for family dinner visiting Kennebunk area for holiday shopping. Many good choices on the menu for each of a relatively good size party. We all enjoyed. It definitely would return when we’re back in the area again.

Waitress told us she only works one day a year, which was weird, after she didn't know the drink that I ordered off the menu. The rolls that were on the Thanksgiving menu were not given to us,instead evpieces of stale bread were. We had to flag her down to get another drink. Our reservation was 645 but they close at 8 and turned off the music and started cleaning while we were still eating. Why give reservations after 645-7 if you close in an hour? Overall, poor service, average food, bit only available open option in the surrounding area.

This is the second year that we have had our Thanksgiving dinner at Jonathan's. Both years we really enjoyed our dinner and the atmosphere. They are crazy busy, but it is very well organized and the service is good. We also had Easter dinner there earlier this year. We plan to have more holiday meals there and would recommend it. It's a nice break from hosting the holiday dinners at our house. The price for dinner was very reasonable.

Our experience was mediocre at best. Two of our three servers blatantly forgot about us - one at the bar where we were sitting right in front of her. And the other was our dinner server and she forgot to put our food order in. Both servers told us explicitly they forgot about us. Additionally, my husband asked for a hot sauce to be served along with his dinner. The hot sauce was forgotten, and when our server asked us about it (after we were done with our meal and she brought the check), she scoffed while asking if the hot sauce was forgotten too. The food was average. The ambiance was nice. The hostess staff were all very pleasant.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal at Johnathan's. Cozy atmosphere, excellent food, white tablecloths. The turkey was juicy and delicious. All the sides were very good as well. I would definitely recommend this place!

This was the first time for the four of us at Jonathan’s for dinner and a show. The meal was wonderful! The Elton John experience was outstanding! He looked and sounded like Elton and he was so personable, taking the time to go into the audience for photos. We already purchased our tickets for New Year’s Eve and are looking forward to it.

Wonderful meal. Everyone working there as well as the owner( Johnathn) were helpful and friendly. If you don’t take the time to walk around and check out his wonderful collection of art, you will be missing part of the wonder ambience. The huge warm fireplace as you enter is so very welcoming!
