The food was fantastic and the pricing was reasonable. They seemed a little disorganized forgetting some food or forgetting to fill drinks. Otherwise will definitely go back.
Love Jonah’s but this visit wasn’t very good. My fish tasted bad and my white fish wasn’t white and couldn’t finish. Will be awhile before I return.
Great food. The staff made you always feel safe. The ambiance is enjoyable. Love hat the menu changes often based on the fresh fish availability.
Drink order was incorrect. My wife had a hair in her onion soup. We were not charged for her soup when we brought it to the attention of the waitress. They have changed their house salad. Very different ingredients from the past. Entrees were good.
We had a small snaffu with our appetizer, but they more than made it up to us with a huge slice of their chocolate cake.
While our food was great, we got baked oysters
Surf and turf and shrimp pascale
Our service was sub par at best. We weren’t seated with silverware, no big deal, but wasn’t until after appetizers were brought out that she brought any. Was given half full water glasses and had to actually at one point get up to find someone to get a drink. Had ordered a bar drink and waited over 15 min to get it (Jameson and coke so it wasn’t a complicated drink)
I totally understand social distancing but we were seated in a study area in the middle of the restaurant. Seemed claustrophobic
On the other hand our food was great. Oysters were delicious and the pascale sauce was great
Very nice seafood dinner. The salmon and ahi tuna were great. The atmosphere was a bit chaotic.
food was served in a timely manner. New booths were very comfortable and provided safer dining. our waitress stopped by frequently to see if we needed anything. the food was very well prepared and served in perfect intervals.
It’s the place to go if you want cooked to perfection seafood. Everything I have ordered has been good.
Food was great! Service was awesome.
The best seafood in the area!!! Raspberry martini was wonderful. Great beer selection. Oysters Rockefeller to die for!
The service was very good. My wife had the scallops, which she said were excellent. I had the crab quesadilla, which was good but not great. This was an excellent restaurant for our anniversary. The staff was very kind, and the pace was very good. Not rushed, but not overly slow either. Our server, Kennedy, was delightful. My wife has a gluten allergy, having Celiac disease. The chef, Austin, personally went through the menu with her very patiently and thoroughly, making sure that everything that was prepared for her was very safe, even identifying some things that may be troublesome because of cross-contamination.
In these times of personal protection and sanitization, Jonah’s exceeded our expectations. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary. Brad was our waiter. He was beyond accommodating. Our appetizer, entree and dessert were very good.... the experience we have come to expect from Jonah’s .... highly recommended
This was a wonderful experience for us. We were traveling thru the midwest and found this place on open table! Crab legs and scallops were wonderful 👏
Filet and lobster where very good and oysters were some of the best we have had
Loved our dinner. Waiter was very helpful answering all our questions. It was my birthday and they brought me out a pice of yummy chocolate cake with whipped cream and strawberry’s. I highly recommend them.
It has been a while since coming here and it has definitely changed. When I asked to substitute a salad for a potato (due to my diet) I was told they would still charge me extra for the salad and did not offer me any other options rather than a potato. The portion sizes were very small for the price of the meals. We were not given napkin/silverware unless we asked for it. Husband had to call waitress back to finish his order as she did not ask what side he wanted. Only saving grace was that since it was our anniversary, we were given a free dessert (very nice chocolate cake) for free.
Birthday dinner was very good
Very accomodating. I am from an out of town and meeting a friend who needs cheering up. We were there an hour early than what our reservation is and they gladly find us seats. Was very happy as we were starving. Food is amazing! Holly take care of us and answer questions pleasantly. Overall enjoy our time, food and services.
I loved it. Can't wait to go back. I can't stop thinking about the clam chowder.
We had the best waiter! He was prompt, friendly and just very charismatic! He said he was from California.
We were so happy to see Jonah's open again. My friends and I have been craving seafood for months, and waited patiently for them to be opened up. The food was exceptional, as usual, and Kennedy, our server was very well trained and professional. My only wish is that they put the fish tacos back on the menu. Our experience was very enjoyable, and we plan on returning soon.
During this time of the pandemic, I was very happy to see the tables distanced apart and the employees wearing masks. What I was not happy about was people entering the establishment with no masks on. We wore masks to our table and kept them on until we ordered. I was under the impression that restaurants were requiring diners to wear masks at least until they got to there table. I work as a circulation manager at a library, and I refuse to let people in who are not wearing masks. So I was very disappointed that was not happening at Jonah's. Otherwise the food great and our waitress was wonderful.
Food was delicious as expected. This has become mine and my husbands go to for special occasion date nights! Our server was fantastic and knowledgeable. Love Jonah’s!!
Excellent service and food. We sat outside. Very nice outdoor seating area.
One of our meals was delicious and what I’ve come to expect from this establishment. The other was ok but nothing special and definitely not worth the price. The fish was tender and moist, it just lacked any flavor.
Wonderful to have Jonah's back open!
We came here for our 3rd anniversary weekend. We don't know if this was an accident or not, but we were given a window seat in the back. We loved it!
We had some privacy and an amazing view. My wife is head over heels in love with Peoria's skyline and couldn't get over the view. 😁
The waiter was kind and polite. My wife is gluten intolerant and he was very kind and helped us out when we accidentally ordered fried shrimp instead of grilled.
We did get charged full price for my wife's creme brulee when we were told it would be discounted since it was an anniversary dinner. But we didn't want to make a big fuss about it.
We both highly recommend their food and atmosphere. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The food was fabulous. We love celebrating our birthdays and anniversary at Jonas.
Food was exceptional as always!
One of the best dirty martini's around - excellent Blue Cheese stuff olives!!!! Both myself and my wife's dinners were very good as well. We both love Jonah's - just don't get there enough!
We had an amazing dinner at Jonah’s!! Jess was our waitress and she was excellent!! Delicious food and the chocolate cake was a perfect ending to our meal.
Good place for decent, fresh
seafood in the Midwest.
I’ve always been happy with Jonah’s. The food is always delicious, the restaurant itself is beautiful, and the service is always excellent!
Good food and great service.
Perfect as always. New updates were gorgeous! Will be back very soon.
Excellent experience, food was delicious and our waiter was amazing. Highly recommend Jonahs, best seafood restaurant in the Peoria area. Looking forward to our next visit.
Gorgeous restaurant. But quite shocked to see zero socially distances tables, guests not wearing masks (although staff were). There was no attempt on part of staff to even ask patrons about social distancing or masks. Overly crowded. Table was for 7 pm but we had to wait until 730. Food was okay. Service was wanting. Took too long to get us drinks and refills and food.
Made a reservation for 6:30pm. Wasn't seated until 7:15pm. Dinner took about an hour to even get to our table, and the food wasn't even hot. The halibut entrée was extremely bland and dry and came with 5 green beans. Paid about 26 dollars for that dish. They clearly overbooked themselves and couldn't keep up. It was my husband and I's first date night out in over a year (he was deployed), and it was such a huge let down.
Great food, they were not doing social distance seating as it was packed, which is why the service was bad and very slow. We were there over 1 hour and 45 minutes and another couple was seated after us and got service better and left 45 minutes before we even got our check.
