This was our first visit. Our neighbor recommended this as one of her favorite restaurants in ocean city.
We had the steak and brie quesadilla, drunken pork egg rolls, crab cakes and the side garden salad. All were delicious. Jillian was our server and paid excellent attention to our needs.
We ended dinner with coffee and the "sand bar" dessert. Oh my, Ice cream, cinnamon, cheesecake caramel and whipped cream. Glad we were splitting the calories between two of us.
This is a fine choice for dinner in OC sand stays open year round which is s plus.
The food was good but… It seemed like the restaurant was a big click. If they didn’t know who you were., then you were treated professionally but very coolly, not like the regulars.. Don’t even think about BYOB - you have to be part of the “supper club”, which was huge process. Apparently there were menu specials but unless you were a regular they didn’t tell you about them. The menu does not describe the food properly and the server obviously didn’t know enough about the menu to tell us the right information. I adamantly stayed that I couldn’t have onions but my crab cakes came with a mango salsa with onions but we were not told this fact.the menu didn’t say anything about mango salsa or grilled tomatoes - just two crab cakes served with tartar or cocktail (which we never did get). I ordered the beet salad that was supposed to come with fried artichokes but it was delivered without them. When I asked where they were, the server said I didn’t know they were still offering them. She did get them for me but still. Where is the expediter and quality control? Overall food was good and service nice but for the prices I expected way better. Didn’t receive our open table credit until I contacted them to inquire. Very sad as it was our first time and probably our last even though we have a house for summer down there. First impressions and all that.
Gourmet food and plenty of it.
Tables are close to each other so you hear everyone’s conversations.
It was cold when the door opened.
Service was great and the people were happy. We will definitely be back.
We have had great breakfast and lunches here. Dinner was average, service was inattentive at the meal. Short rib roll was best part of meal
My husband and I are frequent diners at Jon & Patty's and usually for breakfast. This was a great dinner experience.
Great meal and service!
The food, the music, and the ambience were all great. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
Great food and friendly staff. Great spot in this Resort town
The appetizer specials were especially good and the dinner choices had good variety
We have been here several times in the past and this wasn't one of our best experiences. The food was ok, but not great and we waited extra long for our meals. I had a stuffed tomato salad and the tomato was not really edible. It was not ripe and was pretty hard and if that was the only tomato I had, I would have taken it off the menu. The waitress didn't really come around much to check in with us unless we flagged her down. After complaining about the taste of the water, we were given bottled water which was very nice. We will probably go back since our other experiences were better and hopefully this was just a bad night. :(
My husband and I who have been to this restaurant several times for breakfast and lunch decided to try for dinner and we were very pleased with our meal. We shared a delicious hummus platter for starters. Entrees included a terrific bacon and egg spaghetti dish which my husband loved and I had chicken salad that was excellent. Portions were large and everything was freshly made.
We love this place. The menu is very creative and the owners ver welcoming. We go often for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Birthday dinner was great- the caprese burger was delicious and the fries were perfectly crispy!
GREAT pLACE, REALLY ENJOY GOING HERE THIS WAS MY 3RD TIME EACH FOR A DIFFERENT OCCASION
Why go to Somers Point? If you don't need to have alcohol stay in OC and forget the crowds!
Delicious! Best restaurant in Ocean City and we were there for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
I went Jon & Patty's to be my little secret spot in OCNJ, but it won't be any longer. I first ate there is 2015 during restaurant week for dinner. It was fabulous. Very friendly service and a diverse dinner menu for a place that I think started out as a breakfast & lunch spot.
So we went back this year for our last dinner out. I had three hungry eighteen year old boys who devoured small crab cakes atop beef burgers. I had very fresh salmon done perfectly with pineapple salsa and sautéed veggies. Nicely sized portions. My husband had the steak and enjoyed it.
Keep it going Jon & Patty!
They didn't honor Open Table points. After 4 days we received the points. Thank you
We found the restaurant after looking at Open table reviews. The place was small but had a nice atmosphere. The menu was simple but elegant. The food was excellent. They also had amazing desserts and coffees. The wait staff was nice and attentive. Would definitely recommend Jon and Patty's.
We have eaten here for lunch several times and have enjoyed it. This time we ate dinner. It was not quite up to expectations. Three of us ordered the veggie bomb pasta which one would assume would have lots of veggies. Not quite. Lots of pasta, hardly any veggies. Disappointing.
We ate outside on a beautiful night. Our food was delicious and our service very good. The staff was very friendly yet professional. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all good there.
A must have pineapple bread pudding. The best I ever had!!!
The diverse menu offered something for everyone on our party, from young kids to grandparents! Very good food was served fresh and within a reasonable time period and the service was attentive and prompt! I would come back!
Great food and service at a good price
Great food and service. I have been to Jon & Patty's more than a dozen times, and I have not had a bad experience yet. I have enjoyed every meal I have gotten.
Awesome food and burgers. Waitress was great and very helpful. Go!!
First time visit. Service was great. Food was excellent. Loved the non-alcoholic Sangria. (Ocean City is dry town). Looking forward to going for breakfast.
Had a great experience last visit so we went back. The steaks which were over cooked and dry. The prices are high but worth it if you stick to seafood and local foods. Scallops were very good. I am on the fence so will give them one more chance to get it right.
Excellent, small restaurant. Cute trendy little place. Delicious fresh food, great staff. Went for dinner, great seafood. Best coconut shrimp! No alcohol though, dinner served during summer months. Will definitely be back.
The food was fantastic. Service was excellent. Jon introduced himself and made sure that everything was fine with our meal. I would highly recommend.
We chose this spot to be close to the Performing Arts Center show a few blocks away. What a charming find. The cafe is adorable, with a complete menu at good prices. We really enjoyed our chicken quesadilla on a multi-grain wrap-making it healthier-and tomato stack. It's that time for delicious Jersey tomatoes and Jon & Patty's didn't disappoint. Prices are really reasonable .
We love Jon & Pattys for breakfast and lunch. We decided to go for dinner last minute and it was ok. My husband got the burger and it was overdone and dry. My crab cakes were ok not lump crab though. The service was good and always very friendly.
i have always enjoyed J&P's. the only complaint was a brie/almond/brown sugar app. not very goo, too much sugar.
This place is a hidden gem that I found by using open table. It is one of those places that you walk away feeling like that was Great! Healthy fresh food with amazing service.
Dinner was delicious and the staff always makes people feel welcome. This was their last night of serving dinners for the season, but we are very glad they will still be serving their fabulous breakfasts, lunches, and coffee/tea/juice concoctions every day.
Great local Ocean City, NJ gem. Friendly atmosphere, great island-esque menu. Highly recommend the fish tacos and home made iced teas!
My family dined here for dinner on Aug. 22, 2015. The waitstaff and hostess were very welcoming and helpful! The place is adorable, right down to the cake plates!! I ordered the fish tacos. I don't think the menu mentioned "fried" cod. It was delicious! It felt like more of a lunch restaurant than dinner. I would have loved to see a healthy dinner salad selection on the menu and just a few additional choices for dinners, in general. My kids (17 and 14) had the burger and were raving about the hot pretzel-tasting bun! My husband really enjoyed the coconut shrimp as well!! Overall, a great place and I would return for breakfast or lunch for sure!!!
If you want a nice dinner in OC at a reasonable price, Jon & Patty's is the place. The food and atmosphere is always pleasant.
The menu is varied and changes periodically. Service is great. We have been to OC on vacation twice in the last two years and Jon & Party's is always consistently good.
Always a winner no matter what you select!
