Jolane's Ratings and Reviews
We had a fantastic lunch !! I had the special Rueben ... WOW best Rueben I've ever had (and it's my all time favorite sandwich), the corned beef was so tender it was awesome. My husband had the quiche of the day with the soup of the day which was Lentil Sausage -- he was very impressed with the soup, and enoyed the quiche. Ruslan was our server and he was excellent. We have never been disappointed at Jolane's their food and service is always the best around.
I'm a regular at Jolene's. I frequently meet friends for lunch--usually in the sun room as we love the ambiance. I also go with a group for dinners. Love the food. Be sure to try pear and brie sandwich on raison toast for lunch and the tenderloin medallions for dinner. You can't go wrong.
We came here for Christmas Eve brunch and my 95 year old mother's birthday. The staff was excellent. Mixed reviews about the food.
I ordered from the brunch menu the lobster scramble and the asparagus-mushroom crepe. Both were disappointing. I couldn't taste the lobster in the scramble & it was very bland (and $20). The crepe had more crepe than filling (I kept cutting pieces and not finding any filling..).
Others said that the schnitzel was excellent.
The ambiance was very nice and the service was really good.
I'd go again and give it another try..
We decided to stop her after a visit to ABT next door. Jolane's is a charming place that is very welcoming. The food was delicious and well presented. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. I would recommend Jolane's whether you want a nice meal with just your partner or a group of friends.
Jolane's is one of our regular weekend lunch places and we find the food to be consistently outstanding--we order the Harvest Salad and Steak Salad most often. The steak is always tender and lean and cooked to the ordered doneness. It is usually quite busy and sometimes that effects the attentiveness of our server but would give no less than a rating of good in that scenario. Jolane's is a surprisingly outstanding casual restaurant for being in the end unit of a home decor/fixture/appliances business grouping. It is not ordinary by any means.
I thought the food was outstanding and the service was extremely attentive. We went with the server's recommendations and they did not disappoint. They offered to split the entree onto two plates and the portions were more than fair. We sat at a high top in the bar area and the ambiance was perfect. Definitely someplace I would frequent again!
The service was amazing from the moment we walked in the door. They pay great attention to details.
We had the Vegetable Risotto and the planked Salmon both had such Wonderful flavors! The desserts looked amazing but we didn’t have room. Next time! I will definitely be back.
One of my favorite restaurants… Staff is friendly, welcoming, attentive and efficient...Food is consistently very high-quality, flavorful, delicious and reasonably priced...With a nice presentation… I can be assured that whoever I bring there will be impressed.
Waiter was good ; hostess was nice.
had the chicken schnitzel which was yummy and cooked perfectly. Mash potatoes w/ gravy was the side but I almost think French fries would be more appropriate as a side
My guest had turkey sandwich which was good but very large and somewhat hard to eat. Perhaps put less between the bread?
The beer I ordered was poured into a frosted glass; nice touch.
Although Jolane's was terrific, I was very disappointed with Open Table...I made reservations through OT for two evenings Nov. 21 and Nov. 23...When we got to Jolane's there was no reservation listed from OT...It was good that the restaurant was not busy because we may have been without a table... And, Jolane's seemed very surprised that OT was not on their reservation list.
It was very crowded on a Sunday at 1:15 p.m. Didn't seem as if there were enough servers as wait time for food was long but it was the weekend so it didn't bother me that much! The Harvest salad that I ordered contained about 85% mixed greens and, maybe, an ounce of chicken and even smaller amounts of chopped apple. I won't be ordering this one again. Better to stick with the sandwiches! The onion soup was very good though, so it's a keeper!
The restaurant was packed so our food took between half and three quarters of an hour to come. The waiter was very accommodating and offered us bread while we waited and a dessert to take home because of the delay. I had a minestrone soup which was not great. It was watery, with big chunks of tomato and onion and very little else, maybe two beans. The beef and cheddar sandwich was good and so was the lox bagel.
I've eaten there many times, have had good meals and mediocre meals.
If there was one thing I would recommend is that the chef Should add more ingredients into their salads and soups and, eg the steak salad had lettuce and steak and a few fried onions the shrimp salad has lettuce and shrimp, very lacking in a variety of ingredients.
Great location and a cool atmosphere. The food was delicious. We were there for a business meeting over lunch. I️ enjoyed a half turkey and avocado sandwich with a harvest side salad. Both were delicious and fresh. I️ would highly recommend Jolane’s for all types of events and get togethers.
