About JoJo's Restaurant & Tap House

JoJo’s Restaurant & Tap House provides a bit of a unique dining experience. We have a semi-private dining room that will appeal to those wanting a nice, casual atmosphere without the noise and bustle of a bar right next to them. For those looking for a bit more in the way of live music, a great selection of craft beer and an evening out with friends, our Tap House side hits the mark. Our restaurant layout allows us to appeal to all ages and groups as we routinely have customers from their 20's to their 80's enjoying both sides of JoJo's Restaurant & Tap House.

Great food and great service. It did take a little long for our entrees to come out but we came before a show at the local theater so there were a lot of people ordering at the same time.
Love the fried avocado wedges. If you sit at the bar you can get happy hour discounts on beer, drinks, and select apps.

I frequent JoJo’s regularly and the menu is creative, the food is delicious, and everything is always well-prepared. Servers are courteous and pleasant. Lunch or dinner, this is a great restaurant.

We came as a party of five for brunch. The service was prompt, personal and friendly. Food options are numerous and very satisfying. Very quiet atmosphere (which is increasingly difficult to find). Will return!

We had so much fun eating at JOJO’s. It was New Years Eve, and the food and service were exceptional! The menu selections were extraordinary and so reasonably priced. I highly recommend JOJO’s .

Good food at competitive prices. A solid choice for a good night out. They would certainly stand out if they had a signature dish or appetizer that would make the place into a “go to” food option. Our waiter was awesome and prompt with everything he did.

We eat at JoJos frequently and always enjoy our meal. The pasta was tasty but was not as firm as it should be. However, I will still come back to this establishment as the dish was delicious. The meat loaf with smashed potatoes was nicely cooked and tasted delicious. We had a window seat so we were able to watch the shoppers and enjoy the Christmas lights . This is an excellent neighborhood gem.

Loved the food! We got the BBQ wings which were excellent. I had a salad-that was suppose to have Tuna on it but I wanted steak instead which was no problem. Loved the goat cheese, the steak was tender and the poppy seed dressing was excellent. Looking forward to dinning here again.

We had the pork chop and the sesame tuna entrees with the avacado wedges for an appetizer. All were done exceptionally well and were good portion sizes.
Dessert was a trio of sorbet which was very good as well.
The ambience was nice but a little towards the loud side. The service was a little slow but it was a busy night. Our server knew his stuff and gave excellent recommendations.
As a bonus, the hot tea options were very unique and the Pearls of the Nile tea was very good.

A pleasant surprise. Took my 4 year old to the Weinberg theater for the nutcracker. We don’t live in Frederick so I picked a restaurant close to the theatre. We all met there. The food was delicious. Cream of broccoli soup was extra good. The service was good and they were fine with a small child. We really enjoyed the food and considered it a real find. We will return

We chose this restaurant for a pre-show dinner at the Weinberg Center after seeing it listed on the venue's website. The restaurant was packed with other theater guests, however the entire staff was quick and efficient with regards to our service. When we told them we were attending a show at 7:30pm, the hostess and serving staff worked attentively to make sure we had everything we needed in the short time we had before we needed to leave. The food was outstanding, and we remarked how well the menu catered to my husband (a big meat eater), my son (a picky 11 year old), and me (a vegetarian). We all really enjoyed our visit and would love to come back the next time we are in the area!

Cool spot in right in downtown Frederick. I had a delicious steak, and my wife who is a vegetarian, really enjoyed her Butternut Squash Ravioli. One of the better meals we've had in a while. We will be back soon!

The food is pricey. The noise is overwhelming. I have good hearing, but not good enough for this restaurant. Sometimes I couldn't hear the person sitting next to me. During the week, the place clears out early, so I'd recommend arriving about 7:30 and sit where no one else is sitting. The food was excellent, but pricey. Happy hour does not apply in the dining room. Because of the unbearable noise and high prices I just can't recommend this restaurant. If the service was professional and the noise level acceptable the higher prices would be acceptable.

This is definitely one of our go-to spots in Frederick. The food is always delicious, the service is outstanding, and we really like the atmosphere. The only issue is that occasionally it gets a bit loud, especially in the back room, but that's true in a lot of places :) Their menu offers a variety of choices with interesting daily specials, and I love their white sangria. Highly recommend!

The only thing I was dissapointed by was it was my friend's 30th birthday. But, we weren't offered any dessert or anything for her. So, I was dissapointed it wasn't made a bit more special for her.

My wife had the beef burgundy and loved it. I had the filet and shrimp. The volume of food for the price was good. The filet was not as tender as expected and all the food on this dish lacked some flavor. The overall experience was good and I would go back but will try something other than the filet and shrimp.

The chef makes the most delicious shark dinner. This is only one of many more chef's specials that are all delicious. It's a favorite for taking out-of-town guests to.

I expected more meat on the East "meats" West, but it was good. Chicken thigh kabobs too expensive for the amount of chicken. Chicken Chesapeake is a good value as there was a good size crab cake

Food and beer selection were great, but as someone who travels a lot, and regularly eats at the bar, it was the first time I've ever felt completely ignored. The bartender walked back-and-forth between the people at the 2 ends of the bar five times (I counted) without even looking at me, and without a hello. I was getting ready to just up and leave when another couple walked in and she greeted them with a big hello and said "can I get you something to drink?" I looked around thinking she must still be talking to them but she was at last acknowledging me. After I'd paid when I got up to leave another couple was leaving at the same time, the bartender sent them off with a big "thanks for coming", not a word to me.it was among the strangest and most uncomfortable dining experiences I'd ever had. Won't be going back there

As always the food was amazing, Ben was our waiter and he was as professional as anyone could ask for. He was right on top of things as we needed them but not to the point where it felt like he was trying to hurry us along. Thank you for the awesome Sunday brunch.
