About JoJo's Restaurant & Tap House
JoJo’s Restaurant & Tap House provides a bit of a unique dining experience. We have a semi-private dining room that will appeal to those wanting a nice, casual atmosphere without the noise and bustle of a bar right next to them. For those looking for a bit more in the way of live music, a great selection of craft beer and an evening out with friends, our Tap House side hits the mark. Our restaurant layout allows us to appeal to all ages and groups as we routinely have customers from their 20's to their 80's enjoying both sides of JoJo's Restaurant & Tap House.

JoJo's Restaurant & Tap House Ratings and Reviews
We went to JoJo's for an anniversary brunch. I had asked to be seated on the restaurant side near the windows at the front when I made the reservation, and that's right where we were seated. Very comfortable and great view of the street scene. Our server gave us a good rundown on the specials and was attentive (but not obtrusive) throughout. The food was excellent. We had the duck bites and panko crusted avocado slices for starters and both chose the eggs benedict special which featured smoked salmon rather than Canadian bacon. Yum! Total came to around $70, which isn't cheap for brunch, but not too bad considering we had drinks too. Nice place and I'll come back to explore the several other options on the menu that caught my eye.
This was my first time visiting JoJo’s and it was good but not stellar. Maybe my expectations were too high. Service was good, and beer selection is very good. But the food was pretty average...chicken was dry in Korean bbq lettuce wrap, crab cake was decent but small, cheesecake was underwhelming.
We went for Valentine’s Day. They had specials for the day but also their regular menu. My husband got a Bloody Mary and I got a special drink and they were both great. The food is always tasty and the portions are always large. Everything about JoJo’s is first class. One of my favorites in Frederick
The evening was perfect. The food was fantastic . Out server, Justin, was knowledgeable, helpful and a fun time. The cream of crab soup was the best I’ve ever eaten. My husband was very pleased with his steak. I had the chicken. It was so tender I could cut with a fork. This is a wonderful place.
It was our first time at JoJo's and we had a very pleasant meal. The food was all very good. We had a couple of apps off the Valentine's menu, then the seared tuna salad and steak frites as entrees. My only very minor complaint was that the salad could have used a little more goat cheese. They have a good draft beer list and an interesting cocktail menu. The service was pleasant and attentive.
Great food and great service. It did take a little long for our entrees to come out but we came before a show at the local theater so there were a lot of people ordering at the same time.
Love the fried avocado wedges. If you sit at the bar you can get happy hour discounts on beer, drinks, and select apps.
We eat at JoJos frequently and always enjoy our meal. The pasta was tasty but was not as firm as it should be. However, I will still come back to this establishment as the dish was delicious. The meat loaf with smashed potatoes was nicely cooked and tasted delicious. We had a window seat so we were able to watch the shoppers and enjoy the Christmas lights . This is an excellent neighborhood gem.
Loved the food! We got the BBQ wings which were excellent. I had a salad-that was suppose to have Tuna on it but I wanted steak instead which was no problem. Loved the goat cheese, the steak was tender and the poppy seed dressing was excellent. Looking forward to dinning here again.
We had the pork chop and the sesame tuna entrees with the avacado wedges for an appetizer. All were done exceptionally well and were good portion sizes.
Dessert was a trio of sorbet which was very good as well.
The ambience was nice but a little towards the loud side. The service was a little slow but it was a busy night. Our server knew his stuff and gave excellent recommendations.
As a bonus, the hot tea options were very unique and the Pearls of the Nile tea was very good.
A pleasant surprise. Took my 4 year old to the Weinberg theater for the nutcracker. We don’t live in Frederick so I picked a restaurant close to the theatre. We all met there. The food was delicious. Cream of broccoli soup was extra good. The service was good and they were fine with a small child. We really enjoyed the food and considered it a real find. We will return
We chose this restaurant for a pre-show dinner at the Weinberg Center after seeing it listed on the venue's website. The restaurant was packed with other theater guests, however the entire staff was quick and efficient with regards to our service. When we told them we were attending a show at 7:30pm, the hostess and serving staff worked attentively to make sure we had everything we needed in the short time we had before we needed to leave. The food was outstanding, and we remarked how well the menu catered to my husband (a big meat eater), my son (a picky 11 year old), and me (a vegetarian). We all really enjoyed our visit and would love to come back the next time we are in the area!
The food is pricey. The noise is overwhelming. I have good hearing, but not good enough for this restaurant. Sometimes I couldn't hear the person sitting next to me. During the week, the place clears out early, so I'd recommend arriving about 7:30 and sit where no one else is sitting. The food was excellent, but pricey. Happy hour does not apply in the dining room. Because of the unbearable noise and high prices I just can't recommend this restaurant. If the service was professional and the noise level acceptable the higher prices would be acceptable.
This is definitely one of our go-to spots in Frederick. The food is always delicious, the service is outstanding, and we really like the atmosphere. The only issue is that occasionally it gets a bit loud, especially in the back room, but that's true in a lot of places :) Their menu offers a variety of choices with interesting daily specials, and I love their white sangria. Highly recommend!
