About JoJo's Restaurant & Tap House
JoJo’s Restaurant & Tap House provides a bit of a unique dining experience. We have a semi-private dining room that will appeal to those wanting a nice, casual atmosphere without the noise and bustle of a bar right next to them. For those looking for a bit more in the way of live music, a great selection of craft beer and an evening out with friends, our Tap House side hits the mark. Our restaurant layout allows us to appeal to all ages and groups as we routinely have customers from their 20's to their 80's enjoying both sides of JoJo's Restaurant & Tap House.

JoJo's Restaurant & Tap House Ratings and Reviews
This is definitely one of our go-to spots in Frederick. The food is always delicious, the service is outstanding, and we really like the atmosphere. The only issue is that occasionally it gets a bit loud, especially in the back room, but that's true in a lot of places :) Their menu offers a variety of choices with interesting daily specials, and I love their white sangria. Highly recommend!
My wife had the beef burgundy and loved it. I had the filet and shrimp. The volume of food for the price was good. The filet was not as tender as expected and all the food on this dish lacked some flavor. The overall experience was good and I would go back but will try something other than the filet and shrimp.
Food and beer selection were great, but as someone who travels a lot, and regularly eats at the bar, it was the first time I've ever felt completely ignored. The bartender walked back-and-forth between the people at the 2 ends of the bar five times (I counted) without even looking at me, and without a hello. I was getting ready to just up and leave when another couple walked in and she greeted them with a big hello and said "can I get you something to drink?" I looked around thinking she must still be talking to them but she was at last acknowledging me. After I'd paid when I got up to leave another couple was leaving at the same time, the bartender sent them off with a big "thanks for coming", not a word to me.it was among the strangest and most uncomfortable dining experiences I'd ever had. Won't be going back there
As always the food was amazing, Ben was our waiter and he was as professional as anyone could ask for. He was right on top of things as we needed them but not to the point where it felt like he was trying to hurry us along. Thank you for the awesome Sunday brunch.
We came to JoJo's with some out-of-town friends for a nice meal together. The food was delicious and the service was lovely. My only complaint was the noise from a group that came in toward the end of our meal, talking very loudly. Otherwise everything else was delightful.
Found the place on this app and tried based on reviews and menus. On arrival we actually ate in the bar. Absolutely amazing appetizer of duck, bacon and heat. Split an entree salad and meal and was full. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Will be back the next time I am in town.
We went here for our first time with 6 adults and my 1 1/2 year old. My toddler was in rare form and required constant attention and would yell (happily, but still) at random moments. Some of us also arrived separately. The bartender kindly welcomed us as we arrived through the bar entrance instead of the dining entrance and escorted us to the other side. The waiter was quick to arrive to the table as we sat down to take our drink orders. The waiter was very patient and understanding with us having to tend to the toddler. The waiter was great all through the meal with recommendations, told us about a special they had, asked what we thought, etc... All staff (and patrons) were courteous and professional and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely go back!!!
My wife ordered Salmon with a crab/tomato sauce and I had Chicken Chesapeake (chicken with crab imperial). We also had an appetizer of spring rolls along with drinks (martini for me and special margarita for my wife). Everything was delicious along with warm tools and butter. We ended are meal with crime brûlée for dessert. Our server, Matthew, was very attentive and paced our meal so that we were not rushed through our evening. We plan to return to JoJo's to try other items in the menu.
We went to this establishment after reading reviews on yelp. When we arrived the place looked promising but the service was slow (and there was only one other table with people at it). The beer selection was average but nothing special. The food selection looked promising and while the food was OK, it was nothing special.
If I was near there during dinner time I might give it another try but will not be going out of my way to go back.
