Johnny's is a classic neighborhood restaurant: family friendly; good food; very reasonable prices; friendly-on-site ownership.
We go there often.
Everyone enjoyed themselves and their meals, plan to return.
Great food, Great service. Did not know that there would be live music, while nice, we could not converse at our table. We could not hear one another.
Although we had a reservation, we had to wait over twenty minutes for a table.
The food was very good and the waiter was great.
I was seated right away with a friend and greeted by the owner Mary who brought us hot bread and butter. We ordered the Cadillac Burger which was enormous and so delicious 😋 our servers could not have been nicer. They were so efficient and helpful. For a Saturday night this place was hopping. I saw plates of Ribs and half chickens coming out of that kitchen. This is a fabulous business. I highly recommend it. Even as we left everyone said goodbye.
Wonderful. Good delish
Surprisingly good, everything. Wish I new this place before.
Terrific night. Great music. Really enjoyed the evening. Great service.
Johnny’s is always a great place to go. There’s much variety and the quality is always top drawer. Service is attentive and friendly and prices are most reasonable.
good food and good wait staff, friendly hostess and great bar
Great food, portions and service. Tasty specials. Loved the shrimp.
This was a family dinner and it was excellent. The food was great and the service was superb. I would gladly recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
We hadn’t been to Johnny’s in years but had always had a positive experience. Not this time. One server for the whole dining room. Ordered soup. Never got it. My entree salad was basically a bowl of romaine with dry chicken. Got upcharged for all white meat that I didn’t get. My daughter’s entree salad was no better than mine. Completely unimpressed and not inexpensive.
Service wax very good. I loved the barbecue chicken. This was my first visit there and I am looking forward to returning! I just wish I knew about this place before!
Always a great meal at Johnny’s. We were celebrating our first anniversary and the waiter acknowledged that when we first sat down. Was just a bit surprised, though not terribly disappointed, that he didn’t bring out a small dessert to help us celebrate.
It was so enjoyable. Love the food. Top notch.. the service is great very nice waitress. Another lady came by to check how we were doing.. just they make you feel like family..
Birthday! Bar experience wonderful & waitress at our dining table wonderful! Great food great place!
The food was ok. Even for salad, I've had much better. The dressing was watery. The noise level was way high - we asked twice to have the audio turned down and it if they did, it was by so little we still strained to talk to each other.
The food was good. However, it was overpriced considering the type of place it was.
Our party of 5 enjoyed the food and the music
As always, we enjoyed our dinner and great service🤓
Best brick oven chicken! Love this place. It's been a family favorite for years!
Great food and service.
Noise was a little too much but, it was a PARTY!
Love going there. Food is excellent the staff and customers are all so friendly. Excellent entertainment was well. Bonnie Bridges is the best!!!
Great place to get together with friends for a good meal.
We dine at Johnny’s quite frequently and this was our third New Year’s Eve there. It never disappoints. Food and service were absolutely great.
This was my first time at Johnny's and now it won't be my last! You had me at beef barley soup and the meal kept getting better with the half chicken, potatoes and veggies. Then I really couldn't stop there and took the dessert recommendation from my server. He said the bread pudding and cannoli are top fan favorites. The servers were very friendly and accommodating.
Thanks Johnny's, I'll be back soon!
food was excellent, relaxed atmosphere! server was great.
We had reservations, were seated immediately. Great service, always checking back with you.
Good selections on the menu. Food was outstanding. I'd recommed.
Always and enjoyable time food and service is great,
Always consistent 👍
We had 8 adults and a 2 year old and it was great. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful New Years Eve which is always a crowded night to go out so you never know. It was nice not to have to cook and get to enjoy the meal with my family!
Old school Chicago Greek run place. They are disappearing. Fantastic ribs- roasted, not smoked - with their own thin but delicious sauce. Great selection of European beers on tap. I love this place.
First time that wait staff was just so so. Otherwise this is a go to place for business meals and just plain old comfort dining.
Have been to Johnny's on several occasions, most recently with another couple. Everyone enjoyed their food - whitefish, stuffed roast pork (the Thursday special), and pork chops, though I would have preferred the pork chops to be a little thicker with less fat. Prices are very fair especially on the drinks. Service is very friendly.
The name Johnny's Kitchen and tap is misleading it is actually pretty nice inside I want to we had food wise was very good and tasty so whoever was in the back knew how to cook things.... definitely will go back again
OUR SERVER DEBBIE WAS GREAT! SHE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE, BUT NOT OVERBEARING.
It was the perfect place to celebrate the holiday..
Johnny's is our go to restaurant for steak and chops, but the Thanksgiving dinner there was a big disappointment. For one thing, the stuffing was buried under the turkey, and there was NO cranberry sauce.
