   My wife and I live Johnnys Bar. We were frequent visitors wi th clients when I was in the working world. We have had lunch there quite a few times and it is always fantastic. Great service and a great value too!

   Johnny's Bar has been our family's go-to for any and all occasions - birthdays, anniversaries, friends in town, etc. - for over 30 years. It's hard to find white tablecloth service, food that comes out of the kitchen HOT, and the perfect martini. The food is consistently delicious - the menu (and specials) doesn't really change much, but it really shouldn't.

   We went to Johnny’s to celebrate our 30th anniversary. As usual, the food was very good. Roy our waiter was excellent. He provided recommendations and did a great job managing our meal. He even bought our dessert, which was very kind of him. This is one of my favorite places in Cleveland and where we go to celebrate special occasions.

    Super service. Wanted a tad bit more texture on my pan fried scallops. Crème brûlée was fine but I’ve had much better locally. They ran out of tiramisu and we were the second couple in the joint? Overall an enjoyable experience at one of Cleveland’s iconic restaurants!

    The food and service was outstanding! Items came out in a timely fashion, and were prepared to order. The place is intimate, noisy as hell, but it does have an energy not found in many restaurants. Always a treat to go to Johnny’s Bar on Fulton! Bring your appetite and a good strong voice!     Johnny’s on Fulton remains one of the best dining experiences in Cleveland. Toughest decision is which of the 3 veal chops to order. Having eaten at the best Italian restaurants and steak house’s in the Country, I will say the veal is second to none. I will be back soon.

    As always, Johnny’s was packed and a bit noisy…people know a good thing when they experience it, and keep coming back! While our table for two was in the bar, making it a less than ideal because every time the door opened it got chilly, the food and service (thanks, Natalie) more than made up for it. My tender mussel appetizer in a delicious butter sauce was wonderful, and my husband’s veal stuffed banana peppers were outstanding, as always. I opted for a simple grilled veal chop (very good!), and my husband loved his potato encrusted grouper. We asked for help in selecting a wine to go with both of our dinners, and the suggested bottle was the perfect accompaniment to our meals. We will be back soon!

    The menu has changed quite a bit and is not as varied as it once was. Having said that, the food we did order was great! Didn’t love that we ordered a Pinot - not in stock; ordered a different Pinot - also not in stock. Their suggested alternative was fine but not what we were hoping to have. Server was great!

    Thank took my boyfriend out to celebrate his birthday. We have been to Johnnys once before, and remembered how excellent the food was. We were not disappointed. We love the veal stuffed peppers. The red sauce here is excellent, and they give you plenary of it, which is great for dipping your bread in. Both of our meals were perfect, as was the wine and the service.

    Terrific food ,drinks and service. Unfortunately the prices on some dishes, like steaks, went up a lot; and some portions on some other dishes seemed to have shrunk —somewhat to compensate for inflation. It remains a terrific restaurant. .

    The only reason I didn't give the Food a 5-star rating is that one of my sausage-stuffed banana peppers didn't have the spicy seeds removed, which caused me to choke and lose my breath for almost a minute because of the great heat. My guest was somewhat concerned at seeing me in distress. So, I guess I'd ask that the kitchen staff ensure they remove the spicy seeds from their banana pepper appetizer so another patron doesn't experience the intense heat and breathing difficulties I endured for a somewhat frightening few minutes.

    Have not been here in a few years. Food was mediocre not bad not great. Felt very cramped in my space as table is not big enough to even have our appetizers there. I wanted to love the evening the food and the atmosphere as I had for many years But it was just eh

    Absolutely fantastic! Johnny’s is that neighborhood gem! Never disappoints. We’ve been enjoying dinners here for more than 10 years. We had a party of 6 for a Friday night dinner. Great service…incredibly welcoming…what true service is all about! Can’t wait for our next time at Johnny’s on Fulton.
