Johnnies Hideaway is a fabulous restaurant. We were seated immediately, waited on efficiently and served delicious food. Our waiter Mikel was great. He was knowledgeable about the menu, quick to respond to our requests, and professional. I loved be the Madagascar shrimp...what a treat! We will be back the next time we are in Orlando.
It was just ok. Definitely overpriced. I had a red wine ( Siena) for $12 that I can get at home for $8.00.
Excellent food! Great service! Definitely recommend !!!!!
For the seafood lover there is incredible choice and even for the non seafood lover, there are options. Flavour and quality of the food was amazing. We sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance. Nice touch to have the manager come and check on us. I realize it was symbolic but came across as pride in the restaurant.
Great place to relax in style
We moved from a booth that was far too small to a window table. Excellent. Tommy was our waiter. He made the evening for us.
Great location for a business dinner for three of us. Steak and the fish were great. Nice selection of fresh oysters for appetizers. Great custom cocktails. The Smoked Old Fashion was a surprisingly tasty version of this traditional drink.
Wait staff is very good. Ask to be seated at Aykel's table. She is knowledgable about their menu and her service is quick, accurate, and friendly.
Food is served at a very casual pace.
The food, service and atmosphere make this one of the finest restaurants in Florida. I travel extensively both domestic and Internationally and you guys do it right. I highly recommend this place for a great overall dining experience!!
We were celebrating our sixty third anniversary and Johnnies was the place to do it. The staff was absolutely fantastic. They saw to it that our every want was met. Afterward we were brought the most beautifully decorated cake that we had ever seen. This was done in house by a very skilled young lady. There is no question that the service we received was the best that we have ever gotten in any other establishment. We look forward to our sixty fourth at Johnnies.
Excellent food and service.
Fun dinner after shopping
Service terrible. Food was so so. Even mojito at the bar was bad. Not a good restaurant at all.
I googled seafood restaurant and this one popped up. I am so impressed and will definitely return. Want an amazing server, ask for Daniel. Want an amazing cocktail, ask for Tyler to mix something up for you. Sooo great!!
I have been to Johnies many times and have enjoyed it in the past. This time the food was below par and the service was poor.
The stone crabs were very good, but the chicken was dry and flavorless. I know I shouldn't get chicken in a fish/steak place, but it sounded good with double breast cooked in a skillet with garlic sauce. It was almost inedible, but I did not want to complain, as the waitress was difficult to track down and I did not want to wait another 30 mins. They removed the bread and alcoholic drinks before they were finished and most of the night my tea sat empty.
Maybe just a bad day for a normally good restaurant.
We spent around $300, had drinks, etc. The steak (tbone) was not seasoned very well and came out too cold. The lobster tail was too charred on the outside to eat. The buerre blanc sauce was very bland. The salad...get rid of it. Good food doesnt have to be so complicated when there are great ingredients... potatoe salad, chickpeas, beets and italian style dressing...bleck. u guys can do better than that. Keep it simple...follow Bonefish on the basic salad recipe. We wont be back unfortunately. The value for the food want there either. Service was very good. Friendly waiter.
