Joey Gerard's - A Bartolotta Supper Club - Greendale
The menu at Joey Gerard’s features a variety of steaks, seafood and sandwiches, as well as traditional nightly specials such as fish fry, prime rib and more. Lazy Susans, a relish tray on every table, and classic cocktails and ice cream drinks add to the supper club experience.
Great but a little expensive - would come a lot more except for the price.
GREAT service, really nice supper club feel.
Drinks were perfect. Great to see a relish tray. Food was quality and tasty-had the filet. A little pricey? Maybe but money well spent.
Had dinner with friends to celebrate a birthday. Drinks were good, steaks were prepared on point. the filet was cooked perfectly and the buffalo ribeye was filled with flavor. The lobster was also delicious. The service was decent for a very busy night... it was a good thing we were prepared for a slow, but fun 3-hour dinner. The banana foster dessert is a must eat!!!!! The caramel sauce is amazing!!!!!
Had great food! Our waitress was amazing! My steak wasnt cooked to how I asked and she was so nice about it and had no problem bring me a new steak cooked the way I asked!!!
Our food was delicious, wine that was recommended for our dinner. Our server was fabulous.
Judy helped with our arrangement, twice, as our son decided he wanted to go and then changed his mind. She was very patient and understanding and even stopped by our table while we dined, to see how things were going. In the past we had Matthew and his magical beard 🧔 as a server but this go round he assured us that Jody/I (male), our server, was gonna be awesome. Jody/I was awesome all while being attentive and funny. I love the atmosphere in this place and it’s my new replacement for Carson’s Steak house and closer to my neighborhood.
Great night with great steaks, best flavor in town.
The food and service were impeccable!
Tremendous service, tremendous food! Wonderful, friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back!
Prime meat always brings a smile to my face. Joey's deluxe potato may be the first best destiny for any spud.
Our valentines dinner was very tasty. Only two drawbacks. I had ordered the day special of fillet and king crab; there was very little crab in my opinion. Also, my wife didn’t get her requested veggies at first but this was quickly corrected. I’d still go back again since the food is great and prices are reasonable.
Old Fashioned’s are delicious and the steaks are amazing!
Great dinner, great waiter, good time. See you again soon.
While our own waiter was a bit scarce, another one was Johnny-on-the-spot when one of our table mates spilled a beverage. He was right there with extra napkins and the biggest smile! He even replaced the beverage like it was the most important duty.
Food was exceptional. Our table entrees ranged from bone-in ribeye to lamb to trout. Each diner enjoyed their choice.
We’d return but would prefer a different server.
A busy night, but we received excellent service. Chicken and veal Marsala were superb, mashed potatoes a bit watery. Mixed drink, bourbon and sour was very, very well done, among the best I’ve tasted. A nice dining experience!
Valentine’s Day dinner. It was great !
Great date night!
Seated immediately, excellent service, outstanding food
Food and service were excellent. Hostess seated us promptly.
Enjoyed the evening tremendously. The food was excellent and well prepared. The service staff was really friendly and very courteous, and informed us of all the specials. The waitress went out of her way to be friendly and always had a smile on her face and ready to assist in any needs.
Great meal and great service. Our server, Ashley, did a fantastic job!
Overall we enjoyed our experience at Joey Gerards. While waiting in the bar the waitstaff did not approach us. So my husband had to order from the bar. We ordered popovers and only one of the four were the popover shape. The other 3 were flat.
We have been there in the past several times . We always enjoy coming back
Food is always geen good. Great drink and service. I was a little disappointed with the lobster. I don't like it butterflied open. Little skimpy also. I still will go back.
My favorite steak on the south side of Milwaukee. Highly recommend.
Great food. A little too noisy. We were celebrating our anniversary and we’re seated next to a family with an infant and toddler. The staff knew it was a special occasion. Would’ve appreciated a table away from children
Had steak dinners last week which were just perfect. The escargots and shrimp scampi is spot on. Cocktails are always mixed just right. This time we had the fish fry and added sautéed shrimp on the side. Delicious!
Service was exceptional- Ashley was our server. We’ve dined many times at Joey Gerard’s. The fish fry was okay. The baked potato was overdone. The beer though was nice and cold. We prefer to eat in the bar area but families with kids were seated in there. They should rethink seating families in booths so kids aren’t seated at high tops on booster seats! Looked dangerous!
Delicious food, friendly service, and peaceful ambiance.
Great place, and good food with generous portions. Server was friendly and funny, and our party truly enjoyed ourselves. Parking was the only challenge, but eventually we got a spot. Celebrated a birthday, and server brought a birthday appetizer for my wife and I, and he also brought the other 3 people in our party a free desert.
I enjoy the low key, relaxed atmosphere of this restaurant. It's a homage to the supper clubs of yesteryear. We ordered the small appetizer lazy Susan which included deviled eggs, summer sausage, and a house made cheddar cheese ball. It was a great accompaniment to our Harvey Wallbangers. My friend had the prime rib and I had the scallops. We were both very pleased with our dishes. We took part of our dinners home because we wanted to make room for the strawberry schaum torte on the menu. It was a wonderful way to end a delightful meal. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and polite. I hope to go back to this restaurant again. Definitely make reservations if you plan to go on a Saturday night. The place was packed.
Love this place — great food and service every time we dine there!
We had reservations for a Friday night fish fry and indicated online that we were celebrating a birthday. We were very impressed that the hostess, the server and our waiter all greeted us with a birthday recognition. And a complimentary dessert after dinner. The service was 5 star - well paced, attentive and friendly. You would have thought we ordered lobster instead of a fish fry. In spite of the room being practically full with chatting guests, we had no problem holding pleasant conversation at our table for 2. The acoustics were excellent.
Wood fired steak not my favorite kind. Prefer the charcoal broiled flavor like Palmer’s. Server excellent. Popovers, cauliflower and sundae excellent.
The steak was amazing. Even a bit undercooked it had a great flavor and was easy to chew. Old Fashioned was perfectly done. A bit dark for my taste but the atmosphere was very nice. I would go again for sure! However, as creative and unique as the cheese poppers were they need some sort of dip or flooring.
Perfect steak and seafood. Excellent wine selection.
Everything was great except a side of what was called buttered mushrooms. I like the flavor of smoked food, but this tasted like they added liquid smoke and too much of it. could not eat it. Everything else from Drinks to Service was outstanding. Brittany our server was Great!
Husband and sisters birthday celebration. Food and service were excellent as every time we have dined there.
