dined at Joe's few days ago and we had an amazing experience: the food was spot on (soft shell crab burger and wagyu beef steak), the service attentive, a nice wine list and there was a good buzz around the restaurant. Will be back soon

Not really a place to dine in the evening more of a cafe experience, which was misleading from the discription of Joe's.
The staff were pleasant enough, but towards the end of the evening bins were being emptied and full rubbish sacks being carried right passed us as we ate and placed out on the pavement! By then we knew it was a hint to leave. Will not be returning to Joe's

We had a nice dinner at Joe's. It is a small neighborhood restaurant with an eclectic menu. The wait staff is very friendly. The food is good.

I love to go to Joe's for lunch with friends. The food is really nice and caters to all with choices from salads, fish, pasta and even a delicious hamburger. It is a neighbourhood gem that has been around for years and I hope it stays for many more.

I've visited Joe's a few times, always pleasantly surprised about the quality of food, delicious wines and classy yet cosy atmospere thanks to the cleverly designed interior. However on this occassion, I was hugely let down by the main course - a chewy veiny piece of veal. I was offered a choice of how I wanted my meat cooked which made me think it was going to be a piece of meat worth fussing about. I picked blue-rare, my usual choice of a meat-lover. However, the piece of veal I got was so veiny and bony, I had to chew each piece a long time. Also, it was raw in places due to the heat not reaching behind tougher cartilage. A nightmare. Everything else was very good, the wine delicious as always, so out of nostalgia I scored 4 stars.

I met a friend once again at Joe's and always enjoy my lunch. We usually order a salad and a glass of wine and it is always good. Sometimes the music is loud but they are agreeable when you ask to turn it lower. It is in a great location and very convenient if you are out shopping in Knightsbridge.

We booked Joe's after reading positive reviews online, we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is nice and bright, and wasn't cramped. The staff were faultless, very attentive but not pushy, nothing was too much trouble. The food was good, we both had scallops then veal, we received our orders quickly and both starter and main tasted how they should. There's also a good choice of wine. I will say the bill was a little steep but this hasn't put us off returning nor recommending it.

I met a friend for a light lunch last week at Joe's. It was perfect. We both ordered the spinach salad with prawns which was delicious. The restaurant tables are not too close which let's you talk without picking up on other conversations and it is perfectly located for shopping!

I read a lot of good reviews about this place so was looking forward to going. My husband and I went on a Saturday night for dinner. We had a horrendous experience with the service. The lamb (which we asked for medium rare) came back medium, tough, and chewy. We asked for it to be re-cooked and we told that due to health hygiene rules that they couldn't cook it any less than they did (so why did they take our order)? I switched my order to the dover sole which was nicely cooked en papillote even though the waiter had originally discouraged me from ordering the dish. We will not be back.

We had a fabulous lunch here with 4 of my best girl freinds. The food was great, nice service and the time and space to have a proper catch up in a lovely upmaket environment. Sophisticated and good atmosphere. Friday lunch time was full of women with other women.

Joe's was a really nice venue for a change. The portions aren't huge and I assume they are for ladies on a permanent diet who lunch, but it was delicious.

Going back again soon.

I invited a friend to lunch today at Joe's. The service was wonderful, very friendly but professional. We both decided to have the prawn salad nicoise which was good but the prawns were small. Overall the salad was good but not great. They do make the best coffees though. I will go back.

Sunday brunch - well, we had something more like a full-blown lunch - at Joe's in London's Draycott Avenue was delightful and very reasonable. The only blip was a major delay in the arrival of the first course. But then without any prompting a full and gracious apology was offered along with an extra glass of wine for each of us - an excellent Viognier (from an interesting list) to accompany a first-rate meal. Joe's provided Sunday papers in a setting that was both relaxed and stylish. Bravo!

I would describe Joe's as modern European with an Italian influence. It wasn't quite what we expected, as the guidebook which recommended it called it "Italian," but the food was very fresh, cooked well, and tasted good. We ordered a grilled scallop appetizer; a slow-smoked pork belly with chorizo and whitefish fritters and celery puree; and the special of the day, which was a whole fish (no eyes, but bones were in it) rubbed with olive oil and salt, then grilled and served on a bed of micro-greens. Service was attentive and polite but not intrusive. This restaurant adds a "service charge" onto the bill, which is what Americans would consider a tip, so any further tip you leave is a comment on how good your service was.

Very good evening meal at Joe's Restaurant, in Kensington. The menu is a delightful list of adventure without being overly fussy. Maria Elia puts a lot of emphasis on texture, which results in dish combinations that really compliment. Beautifully presented too. Staff were a little over attentive but knowledgeable about the food they were serving. Not busy but the layout means that one does not feel any lack of atmosphere. With most main courses costing less than £14, excellent value.

I came across this Gem in the Stylist magazine. The picture didn't grab me, but the fact they had pigeon and rabbit on the menu intrigued me as I'm quite adventurous when it comes to dining out. The menu, wine and the whole atmosphere far exceeded expectations and I was actually surprised that it wasn't very busy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Federica the manager was a charming host and even gave us an idea for a holiday in Italy.
The lamb belly, pistachios, samphire, raisin and caper dressing was outstanding. A superb blend of flavours and textures.

We went to Joe's Restaurant in Kensington for lunch. I was a little warm so fanned myself briefly with the menu when I first sat down and a waitress came straight over and asked if we'd like the air con turned on. They were really attentive throughout. Amazing selection of salads for a light lunch including about 6 different vegetarian options. I had the warm puy lentil and goats chese salad. Mojitos were gorgeous. Great place for a relaxed chat at lunchtime.

Tried Joe's for the first time for dinner with my partner and another couple and enjoyed a very nice evening in a chic yet relaxed atmosphere. Service was friendly and discreet. My partner and I shared the succulent beef carpaccio truffle starter while our friends regaled themselves with a shared risotto 'du jour. We were all equally pleased with our mains choices (burger, mixed grill vegetable pyramid, crab tian and goat's cheese tortellini). Wine was good and reasonably priced. A great evening
