Fresh stone crabs are found in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. They are hand harvested, one claw at a time, and thrown back to the sea. The seafood here is always good. Dismayed by the service though. You could tell the staff was hustling to get stuff done, but it tarnished the experience. It took 10 minutes to get seated. When I finally was seated, it took about 15 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge me. I noted it was my birthday and nothing was said or done about that. (Not expecting free food, but once again, an acknowledgement goes a long way.) Spent $45 for a dozen oysters and $70/80 for crab claws. Also got champagne and banana cream pie. For the price, service does not match.

We ordered the filet oscar and filet & tail. Firstly, the steak was cooked perfectly to medium like we ordered. Perfectly seared and tender enough to cut like butter. The seafood was no let down either. Easily the best meal we have ever eaten, especially for a birthday celebration!

Joe's is a terrific restaurant that serves the freshest seafood, beautifully aged beef, and wonderful cocktails. It ain't cheap, but every meal there is memorable. Nothing better than The Whale, their seafood tower on ice.

The is a lovely venue to serve great food, but the latter was mediocre from start to finish. One exception: the oysters as an appetizer I'd highly recommend. That might be the only thing on the menu that a chef didn't touch. Our steaks were tough and tasteless, the french fries over salted, and the onion strings clearly came from the frozen food department at the Safeway. I wouldn't recommend.

Really disappointing lunch. The mahi tacos were really tasteless and very little actual fish, particularly given the $19 price tag. The fries were not fresh, not really hot, and just what you would expect from a bag from the freezer. I usually love this restaurant and am going to hope that I just caught it on a bad day.

This restaurant is beautiful inside. Has more of a steakhouse feel than seafood restaurant feel. We had 5 o clock reservations and got seated immediately. Service was impeccable. Had the stone crabs for the first time, loved them. I had the branzino fish, was a bit dry. The restaurant is high end some people came dressed. I liked it a lot. I would order something different next time. Pricing is expensive so be ready.

The food was delicious, especially the various seafood dishes. Particularly outstanding was the ahi tuna, both because of the tenderness of the tuna, the tasty sauce and the size of the portion. The soft shell crab was large with a tasty butter sauce. The service was terrific, professional, enthusiastic, caring, informed but not intrusive. Only downside was the excessive noise level, which got louder and louder as the evening progressed, despite having a table toward a corner of the dining room.
