Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab - Washington DC

We had a great evening, food was excellent as was the service. The waitress totally understood that we wanted a leisurely meal and were ordering by the course and she had no issues with that. We had delicious appetizers and mains, all seafood as you would expect. Every dish was perfectly prepared and was extreme,y tasty. We shared 2 sides and they were easily large enough to be shared. Our white wine was kept chilled throughout the meal and was poured without being asked. Overall, a great time at an adult restaurant.

Great ambiance for business lunch or just an evening out after work. There is an awesome variety of food options and sides. I love going to Joe's!!

Food was excellent!

Always delicious and consistently wonderful. Uber-professional staff who are also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Good wine list with great prices. Pies are not to be missed. Doesn’t matter if stone crabs are in season or not - they are always good. Surprising good steaks, too! You can’t go wrong here!

On the pricey side of things but super fresh food and good service are guaranteed

Everything was amazing the moment we walked through the door. And the food was unbelievable. This restaurant is a must if visiting DC. We will be returning.

Service and accommodations were excellent. I had slight issue with crab bisque...no lump crab meat, and for price, that was disappointing. The waitress brought more ; however, it was the same level of quality (low) and cold when added to my existing soup. The side dishes (asparagus and hashed brown) were a little lukewarm.
Fish and steak and crab cake were above average.

Joe’s is exceptional. The service is great and the food really delicious. The stone crabs are in season so had a few large claws which were so fresh and tasty. I have an interesting food allergy, garlic, not an issue for the team at Joe’s. What a pleasure to not be disappointed. So many restaurants disappoint me because they cannot meet my needs. I’m so often forced to choose something on the menu that is good but not my first choice. Not at Joe’s. The staff is so guest centric and I would gladly pay a little extra to eat at Joe’s. Great meal and great experience.

The food options and the service were amazing. Our server Brian was outstanding. This is a phenomenal place for dining and/or celebrating milestones and other significant occasions.
Con: The bar area is too loud for a classy place like this. I’m of belief that if a patron spends $500 on a dinner for two, watching and hearing football games above the restaurant bar shouldn’t be part of the dining experience.

Great food ! Excellent waiter - some gaps in service — Extra large and expensive stone crabs were delicious, though not large and definitely too expensive ! Crab cakes , shrimp pasta and mixed grill were very good . Key lime pie was great .

Joe’s never disappoints. This is our 2nd family dinner this year at this wonderful restaurant. We go all out and order everything we desire. Love it all. Stone carbs, raw oysters, and entrees are always good. Service is excellent. Wine list and cocktails are out of this world. A must eat in DC.

A very elegant setting for a quiet Thanksgiving with great service and food.

Superb service every time I visit. They seated us earlier than my reservation time...pleasant surprise. Thanksgiving prefix meal was delicious. Turkey and squash were my favorites. I keep coming because of the quality and won't stop. Thank you Joe's.
