Warren is the very best server ever. He should give lessons, hold a seminar!
food good,but not exceptional
waiter was asking for more tip -NO GO!
Stone Crabs were outstanding...so sweet. Steve our server was attentive, professional and made sure we were satisfied.
It was my birthday. It was excellent!
I came here with my boyfriend for his birthday. We had a great experience. Our waiter was super nice and helpful. The food and wine was really good. I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion.
The service by our waiter Oliver was outstanding! From the moment you enter the restaurant until you leave the staff is extremely inviting and accommodating. High quality food that is well worth the money. Kudos Joe’s!!!!!
Excellent service! Delicious food
Food excellent. Wine selection wonderful but you definitely pay for it.
The Maitre‘d was extremely rude.
Joe’s is to seafood what Capitol Grill is to steaks, need I say more? The Stone Crab is the best but the grilled Madagascar shrimp is my second favorite.
IT IS THE GO-TO PLACE FOR OUR FAMILY. WE EVEN SET UP A RESERVATION FOR A DAY 4 MONTHS FROM NOW. WE LOVE IT THAT MUCH.
Excellent food, excellent service, lovely ambiance! Unlike Joe's in Miami, we were able to make a reservation and had no wait. I would highly recommend Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab in Washington DC.
Went for Rosh Hashanah. They tried to charge the adult price for the kids dinner. Brisket was dry. No apples for the kids. Service wasn’t good aside from the Som. Really disappointing.
A busy environment with varied clientele. Families, couples, groups of friends and co-workers, all gathered to partake in the drinks and fine cuisine of Joe's D.C. We arrived and were pleasantly greeted by the hosts and promptly brought to our table. Michael was our server and "guide" through our first Joe's experience and he did not disappoint. From his abundant knowledge of wine pairings and his attentive service, accompanied by pleasant conversation, we truly enjoyed the evening. And the food... oh the food, Nothing disappointed, we had wine, oysters, Caesar salad, filet, sides and a dessert. Michael and his support staff plated everything perfectly and made us both feel special. This is a very busy place but the superb staff makes it personal and that's not easy but they are true pro's. Thank you for YOUR service to us, staff at Joe's prime!
Great Food with a exceptional high quality service from Bianque.
As always, everything was just right—heirloom tomato salad and sea bass were absolutely delightful. Staff was terrific from the wonderful gentleman who mans the front desk to each person you encounter during the meal. This is one of our favorite places for a nice evening out in DC. It does not disappoint!
The seafood pasta is an amazing dish with a superb amount of fresh seafood. Great to split with the filet mignon.
Special spot with a nice vibe. Great lunch. I would definitely recommend
Have never had a bad meal or poor service. Absolutely top notch all around.
It was ok. Food was good. We got stuck at a table facing the bussing stand. Granted, we were early and they nicely sat us before our scheduled time. I just wish it had been a more memorable experience given the price.
Fabulous! Exceptional meal and ambiance. Look forward to the next time!
The dessert, bar, service and company made it a good night. The entrees and appetizers were average for the price, desserts were delicious. The gentleman who checked us in was a bit pretentious... we were three of four and would not be seated eventhough I stated the fourth was parking with valet...Unless they have a triangular table without the fourth we still would have been seated at a 4 top.... Jimmy our server was perfect, enjoyed him thoroughly.
This was our 2nd time we decided to go to this amazing restaurant on our anniversary. Again we had a wonderful time with great hospilitally from the restaurant. We will be back soon
Took my son to dinner, have eaten at Joes many times in Miami and found the DC restaurant just to be ok. Anytime I have been to Joes in the fast I knew I was going to pay a premium for my meal but it would be outstanding...not the case tonight.
We went for our anniversary and it was excellent. They gave us champagne to celebrate and the hosts and servers all wished us Happy Anniversary!
It was my first time at Joe’s and I was blown away! The staff goes above and beyond and gave us a memorable dining experience while we were celebrating two coworkers’ birthdays.
Our first experience here was good enough to know that we will return! Our host was excellent, explained menu in details and even recommended dishes. The food was just as good as the service. My husband enjoyed his birthday dining experience.
It was my birthday! Everything was more than I expected and the food was even better!
My first trip to Joe's - rivals any of the dozen of high end steakhouses I have tried (St Elmo's, Ruth's Chris, Palms, Fleming's, Morton's, etc) and a step above most of these. I love the "local" vibe....
Patrick our server was very attentive and accommodating. We definitely recommend the crab soup and stone crabs for anyone who hasn’t been here before!
Food was excellent! Service was on point! I had a great experience overall.
I always love Joe's, one of the few real fine-dining restaurants left, with linen tablecloths and all that, and the best breadbasket with those little onion rolls. The food is always excellent, and so is the service, but this visit, perhaps a bit too much so. We had a bit of business to discuss before settling down to order and our waiter did not seem to grasp that. It was unusually crowded so perhaps he was over-anxious.
Joe's is our go to place for all special occasions. We were here for our 8th wedding anniversary. We were there last year too for our 7th. We also come here for birthday celebrations and many times just as a "stop in" spot whenever in downtown DC. We love it there and the staff is always amazing.
Never a disappoint!!
I made reservations to take my husband here for this birthday, and boy was that an excellent choice. Classy space with fantastic food. My husband stated that this will absolutely be one of our main restaurants moving forward. Our server was extremely attentive and very knowlegable on the best food and wine choices on the menu. Highly recommend this restaurant and look foward to our next visit very soon.
I was looking forward to our dinner as it’s the last day before our son’s return back home. I ordered the seafood platter and it was very salty and the prawns were over cooked. Nothing really especially at all! My son’s steak looked dry with no sauce on offer. Everything seemed to be served in isolation with nothing to bring them together. Side dishes are boring with no side salads on offer. It’s overpriced and Underwhelming. Service was very good though!
Excellent meal, great service we totally enjoyed the experience
Everything is about this place is perfect!! One of my favorite restaurants!
Enjoyed the brunch. Staff was great and rolled with our sense of humor. Brunch drinks are great. Fried chicken and quarter pound shrimp were amazing. Bread basket was also yummy! French dip sandwhiches was also reportedly out of this world. Great brunch!
Amazing food atmosphere lovely service ! My server was from Chicago ❤️❤️Lovely dude
