Fire food in dc! Not a single complaint..
The food was delicious. The service was outstanding. It was a great dining experience
We were able to combine the happy hour offer with the dinner menu, which typically isn't an option at restaurants. That was very nice. Our server was nice, didn't forget a thing, was very attentive. There were about 6-8 other tables around us but it was still quiet which was nice. The tall ceilings and arch windows were picture worthy. The food was excellent. Both filets were cooked perfectly, stone crab claws were tender, Brussels sprouts crispy and flavorful. Will be returning again and again.
I have eaten at Joe’s before and thought it would be a great place to take foreign guests. This was my first lunchtime experience. Two of us had the crab-stuffed shrimp which was scrumptious . My other friend had fish, I think it was the Bronzini. Whatever it was, he loved it. Our waitress was super nice, you almost felt like you were visiting her home. She asked us if we would mind waiting a bit while she personally brewed our coffee. In most places I would think that was a “line”, but I totally believed her and the coffee was great. The fries were OK. Broccolini was tasty, but a bit limp. I had my first ever glass of Etna Bianco. It had just recently been recommended to me by a Roman chef. Very nice, a bit more body than a Sauvignon Blanc, but not heavy or Oaky like a California Chardonnay. Overall, an excellent dining experience. However, this is not some place you want to eat if you're on a budget.
P.S. - There wine by the glass selections are unusually high end.
My top restaurant to eat for dinner. Food is great, service is great, you can’t ask for anything else.
I took my Fiancé for His Birthday and we had an awesome time!!! The food is WONDERFUL and the service is VERY professional and friendly!! We will definitely be going back!!
The service was outstanding
Greatest restaurant in the dmv area. Always worth the money.
This was our first indoor dining experience in a year and we brought our two children (9&6). Everything was amazing. The service was perfect. The food was delicious and we felt totally comfortable with amazing protocols. It was a fantastic night.
All I can say about Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab.
Excellent experience. Great service, great food and I ate way too much. Joe’s never disappoints.
I can not complain, everything was perfect! The server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The serve was very efficient. The food was presentable and delicious. Overall, it was perfect!
Birthday the service was excellent
We love Joe’s! The atmosphere is always upbeat. We prefer the bar area because it’s a bit more lively than the dining room. Our waitress, Bridget, was fantastic. The food was delicious. We had the grilled seafood platter and it was perfection as well as the snow crab claws. For dessert we recommended the key lime pie!
Server was great but appeared to be moving us along a little too fast.
The ambiance is not the same due to COVID...I guess? Service was excellent, but the drinks and food wasn’t as exciting as it used to be...But that’s my opinion.
I reserved a table... Was given a bar high top table... My Steak was way over cooked and I felt rushed the entire time I was there. Our server/bartender was immaculate though. I hope he goes to another restaurant because unfortunately I won’t be visiting Joe’s again anytime soon.
Our waiter was fantastic and the food was delicious!
We were seated at a table in the middle of the back dining room. Honestly, I was concerned at the amount of people in the restaurant that night, especially during the Covid pandemic. We had people seated all around us...not my idea of a romantic atmosphere for a $300 dinner. Won’t be going back anytime soon.
This restaurant has wonderful food and the service is good, but it is quite expensive. We had one cocktail each, a cup of crab bisque, we split a wedge salad and we got got the 6oz filet with 10oz lobster tail. Our sides were potatoes with onions and onion rings. We sent the potatoes back for two reasons. They were cold in the center and they were overcooked. I got a half slice of tres leches cake and my husband got the sorbet. I had a cup of coffee. The bill came to 293.43 w/o tip.
My family and I made reservations at the DC location and arrived 30 minutes early . We were promptly seated and provided great customer service. The food was prepared perfectly. My one gripe if any was that the appetizers were slightly overpriced for the amount of serving offered , however the taste and quality quickly made up for that .
After some very disappointing experiences with both food and especially service on my past few visits, I am exhilarated to finally report that Joe’s is back and the best dining in the Nation’s Capital.
Firstly, we were thrilled to see Jenny, our server( and a famous and very often requested person at a couple of popular WashingtonDC restaurants)! Also we were thrilled to have with us the very attentive and handsome Jorge who we had been very fortunate to know from prior visits.
All of the dishes we chose whether it was the chopped salad, easily shared by two, the perfectly cooked lamb chops, surf and turf( with its succulent 10 ounce and perfectly delicious lobster tail) or the ice cold king crab legs , everything was superb. Many restaurants have deleted their bread baskets but Joe’s proudly serves their diverse and seemingly bottomless version and it is excellent.
But with all gracious dining, the Highlight of the wonderful evening was the beautiful Jenny. Her care, affable and warm personality, and bright smile even shining through her mask made this one of the most memorable evenings we have ever had. Along as she is there we will be back many times.
The service was outstanding.
I spent my 60th birthday for dinner at Joe’s and the food and service was simply excellent!!!
I strongly recommend Joe’s for any occasion.
Looking forward to another opportunity to dine at Joe’s soon.
Everything was great!
