Stone Crab

Fresh stone crabs are found in the coastal waters of Florida. They are hand harvested, one claw at a time, and thrown back to the sea. Joe Weiss, and his wife Jennie, discovered this unknown delicacy in the early 1920s, and soon after, began serving them at their restaurant in Miami Beach. Unfortunately our table was out in mall area. Stone crab was cracked in such small pieces that it made it hard to eat

I’ve eaten here a lot. Last night was not on par with the past. Chopped salad was disappointing. Oysters were horrible. Even the ice cream was a miss ( melted and goopy). So disappointed! Service was great as it always is!

Spent our 20th anniversary there for dinner last night and everything was exactly how it always is, prefect! Everyone who works there is spectacular. It’s the one place we book each time we come into town. Be back again!

One of my favorite restaurants in Vegas. Had a fabulous birthday dinner with friends. Halibut was excellent and the Chilean sea bass was amazing. The stone crab was excellent despite not being fresh. Service prompt. Love sitting in the outside area.

Joe’s does not disappoint. The noise level is medium but it’s Las Vegas, the energy of the city is reflected in the energy in the restaurant which I felt is part of the appeal. We had two young kids with us (3.5 and 1.5 years old) and the staff treated them so great. They got coloring paper, crayons and kid water cups. I was nervous about having young kids in a fancy restaurant but the staff made us feel right at home!!! Of course the stone crab is the best in the world and the salads and soups were absolutely delicious. The standard of the food is as high as it has ever been. It is also conveniently located right next to the valet at the Forum Shoppes so super easy to find. We will be back every time we come to Las Vegas!!!!

Every time I find myself in town, I make it a point to dine at my favorite restaurant – after 14 years of being a loyal customer, it feels like my second home! On my most recent visit, I enjoyed two lively business dinners the night before, but the lunch I had during the day truly stole the show. There’s something wonderfully relaxed about lunchtime here; it’s less crowded and really allows for some great conversation, especially since we were seated at a spacious table. As always, the food blew me away! The seafood, in particular, was nothing short of exceptional, and the service was impeccable. If I could make one little wish, it would be for the sides to step out of their comfort zone a bit – a little more adventure would be welcome! But let me tell you, the highlight was definitely the Key lime pie; it was absolutely out of this world!
