I've been to Joe's twice in the past month and have been impressed with the ambiance and craveworthy food. The warm bread is soft and crusty. I had the Fish Tacos with blackened fish and it was flavorful and had great textures! The Kale and Quinoa Salad is something I actually crave! My hubby had the Tuna Avocado Salad and it he loved it! Highly recommended for a business lunch/dinner.
Excellent waiter. Excellent selection of food and everything came to the table hot.
The food was very good and very consistant with past visits. Avery nice place for us to meet friends and dine.
Good food, nice decor, good service. Would recommend.
I had not been to Joe's in a while, and my impression and my experience for this event was highly positive- the food quality and timing it was served was excellent, it was a quiet time when we were there, but still, and the service was outstanding. The main meal and the desserts were so so good, everything was! I look forward to going to that Joe's again, and already recommended it to my friends. Easy to make a reservation also.
Excellent, thank you!
We went because I had received an email about Easter brunch which included egg dishes and corned beef hash. When we arrived, they were not serving corned beef hash which is what my partner wanted. We asked to have it and they did but I was kind of disappointed in the selections. My omelette was okay, warm, but nothing special. We should have ordered off the regular menu and not bothered with brunch. The complimentary drinks were a nice touch.
In a classic bait-and-switch maneuver, the “Weekend Brunch” menu listed online is not available on Easter Sunday or certain other Sundays. This is not listed anywhere on the online menu and we only learned it after we sat down. The Easter brunch menu, instead of being expanded as is the case for many restaurants, was reduced to four items, all of which had eggs. This meant our party of six had to be cut to a party of five. The server said she would check with the kitchen if other items were available, but never returned with an answer. We could forgive the poor service if the restaurant were packed, but we were early and the restaurant wasn’t even half-full. The eggs Benedict were served cold with a congealed sauce, which probably means they weren’t cooked properly, were cooked ahead of time, or were left to sit too long. The drinks were never refilled and we didn’t bother to ask as other requests were ignored until we asked repeated times. The bread was warm and the cold potatoes served with the eggs Benedict were well-seasoned, but it’s hard to overcome a very limited menu, cold food, inattentive servers, and indifferent management.
Clean, friendly and compentent staff, good food and decent prices.
Two of us had the lamb burgers which were very tasty and came with a decent sized salad. We sat in the bar.
Food seems to have gone down hill. I got a burger that was just ok. It came with about 5 fries. I wasn’t impressed. Others got the turkey burger which they said was just ok. Another person in our party got the Cobb salad which she liked. The warm bread served was probably the best part of the meal. Service was good. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.
The restaurant was very accommodating for my business dinner. We thought we were having a casual get together of 8, which blossomed to 12. The Joe’s team was very helpful in adjusting the table at the last minute! Our server (I’m sorry but I cannot remember her name :(!) was attentive and friendly. Thank you very much!!
Had to wait an extra 40 minutes after our reservation and the hostess just kept saying it would be an extra 20 minute wait. Didn’t really seem they knew how to handle the stress. Overall the dining and food experience was wonderful. Would definitely come back again.
Great local restaurant. We were originally a party of 8 and then grew to a party of 11--which they accommodated. We had a bunch of diverse culinary requirements which Joe's easily accommodated. Great experience and nice hospitality.
We had a great meal and were able to have conversations without having to scream. The waiter could have been a bit more attentive- we asked 3 times for water. The rest was perfect.
Great sangria and good food; large portions
The host was nice but waiter was horrible. Food was ok but portions were for a child, and I'm a grown man. Never again.
Great valentine 5 course meal. Perfect portion, wonderful options and presented pleasingly. Excellent sangria
A last minute decision was a wise move on our return through the area from a day of skiing. Nicole and Mike at the bar were amazingly welcoming and professional. We had the house salad, fresh with white balsamic dressing, followed by prime rib and a N.Y. strip. Both great cuts, served at the perfect temp accompanied with baked potatoes and spinach. Did not disappoint, whatsoever. Thank you Open Table and of course Joe's American for making me look good!!!!
Quality food every time we dine at Joe's. Clean tavern style decor and always a friendly staff.
Took my boyfriend and our boys to dinner, the menu fit everyone's likes and it did not disappoint. It was a great night and we were not rushed to leave. They brought out a dessert with a candle for my boyfriend for his birthday, which was so nice. Thank you for making it a great night.
Enjoyable but not exceptional. Would go back if someone invited me but probably won’t book again with so many other places around.
Had a lamb burger with a Greek salad. Both were acceptable but not memorable.
Had dinner before a movie with another couple. We had a service dog with us and she had a comfy spot to lie while we ate. The waiter and manager were very accommodating to one of us who has a food allergy. Very nice atmosphere, great food, and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Joe's never disappoints. It works as fancy but the price is manageable. Food is always good, service is always professionally casual. That is, staff is very friendly but they keep the professionalism through dress, manners and hustle. Always feels like a special treat!
Put up a reservation, bar seating was open so we took it to watch a game.
A little loud but expected during football
App was pulled pork sliders - will be a meal in future, so good!
Tomato basil was out of this world.
Service was great, waitress friendly and personable.
We have been to this "Joe's" many times. It could use a "make over", to be honest. The facility is a bit tired and worn. The food is perfectly fine and the prices are reasonable. Good location, too.
Great grilled fish sandwich, burger, fries and salads. This is a really nice place to go for a casual meal, quite consistent in the value, food, service. I overheard a small issue with another customer handled very nicely by server and manager, something we sadly do not see often enough.
Wonderful place for a meal. Wine list could use some work but the cocktail menu makes up it. The kid had an overstuffed lobstah roll - lots of meat, light mayo. Really good! I had the most excellent and flavorful turkey burger and my husband had the black and blue burger. Can't go wrong with those! Waitstaff was super friendly and attentive, busy and not hovering.
Great lunch. Wonderful atmosphere! Yummy food! Thanks!!
Menu could have more choices, especially for lunch time crowd. The old joes was much better
I just sent an email to Joe's to let them know what a great time my friends and I had. Meal and Server were great! The day manager was great!
Our hostess Kim, was very friendly and was very accommodating to my special needs.
Always enjoy it here
Thanksgiving meal. Waiter was abrupt and forgetful. He was halfway across the room, walking towards us, when he asked "do you know what you want?" Didn't even fully get to our table. Full menu was an option but we all opted for the Thanksgiving menu which was a starter of chowder or salad, either turkey with all the fixings or cod with rice and succotash, and a dessert. The waiter initially didn't ask my mother or me which starter we wanted, we had to remind him that it was included. Salads were fine, according to my parents, but the chowder wasn't hot and was not very flavorful. Turkey dinner was supposed to include cranberry sauce; it was not on the plate. The fish came with green beans instead of succotash. There was no explanation or even mention that it would be different. We asked for the dessert, but one was to go. They all came out on plates.
I might have been willing to excuse it if it was super busy, but half the tables were empty. I can now see why.
We will not do this one again.
We went here for Thanksgiving dinner. The food was wonderful and the ambience was lovely. Our server, Rita was warm, attentive and really helped make the occasion special. Very pleased.
Good food, but a little overpriced. I'm tired of hearing "the bread is in the oven". Bread used to come when greeted by the server. I end up asking multiple times, and then ask a manager. Even then, the bread comes minutes before the meal. We like to have bread with our wine while waiting for the entree.
The food was terrific - steaks cooked to spec, sides very tasty. Service seemed a bit lost as there was too long a wait between check-ins and sorting out the bill. Been here before and service was top-notch, so while this time was sub-par, I wouldn't hesitate to go again with business colleagues.
Food was good. I loved the butterscotch breadpudding
We were a party of 10 and our server was a bit inept. It's unfortunate for her since the table had several experienced servers and bartenders and we're usually an easy bunch. The server was slow to water the table bringing only one or two glasses at a time. Also, the bread, which is very good, didn't appear until well after cocktails were served. The food was satisfactory, neither super good or a train wreck. My sister inlaw who does not eat meat ordered the veggie burger and when it arrived was unsure due tothe low lighting. I took a bite for her since she gets ill if she eats meat. It was a regular meat hamburger. It took several minutes to get the server's attention and then she apologized and said they'd cook her a new one. In the meantime, all other meals had been served and so we waited so my sister in law wouldn't have to eat alone. The wait time is unavoidable but annoying. The new veggie burger took about 10 more minutes. I believe that the veggie burger should have been removed from the check as a sign of good faith but was not. The server was friendly and did offer to split the checks up, which she did. The veggie burger thing left a bad taste in our mouths...no pun intended.
Great American seafood and steaks! Casual atmosphere. Bar seems to be popular with locals but I only come here for great food and service out of the bar area. Nice and relaxing with great server attention to customer.
Joe's American Grill is an automatic stop when in the Woburn area. Comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, attentive & welcoming staff and full selection of craft beers to accompany a wide choice of properly prepared meal choices....ranging from bar snacks to steak dinners. See you all again on my next visit
