Joel Robuchon - MGM Grand
Limited seating creates the intimacy one can expect from Joël Robuchon. Reservations strongly recommended.
Choose from the multi-course tasting menus or order a la carte. Specialties include Le Caviar, a trio dish of thin couscous and Oscetra caviar, smooth cauliflower cream, and delicate gelée of green asparagus.
Everything was perfect. The beautiful space, the staff, the food, it is as a decadent evening of a delicious experience. We did the full tasting menu with wine pairing. My favorites were the scallop, the frog leg, the black cod, the whipped potatoes with 40% butter and the lobster ravioli. My husband loved all of it. The wine was outstanding, mostly French. They paid close attention to my food allergies. It is definitely expensive but what a fantastic dining evening.
The dining experience was perfect! I love the environment in the restaurant which was so elegant and quite. And every course was exquisite and beautifully made.
Impeccable tasting,wine pairings, and service.
5 star service and a truly unique dining experience.
We returned for the tasting menu. Even though there are like 20 courses, they are nicely sized so you can eat it all. You will be stuffed with some of the best of the best epicurean bites. They send you home with a berry lemon pound cake that is phenomenal. Lastly, the best gin and tonic in the world is here with their infused gin and other additions that take this drink to leaps and bounds beyond the next level.
Very expensive. But this is worth
Tasting menu was overwhelming. Excellent food, service & ambiance.
Amazing service! Excellent food! Fabulous decor! Overpriced small portions
Amazing time. I went for my birthday and I felt super special.
Gorgeous artistry of cuisine and service beyond reproach. We loved it !!
We were there celebrating our 10th yr anniversary and what a meal! We opted for the $250 menu (2appies 2 entrees and dessert) vs the 16 course tasting menu. That was already more than enough food than we could handle! The bread basket (which is presented in a cart) was superb and comes with very exclusive imported butter and olive oil. Be cautious not to overdo it here and save room!
The meal itself was so delicious and I would consider this to be the best meal I’ve ever had. Meticulously detailed in presentation and the flavours and quality exactly what a person would expect from a three Michelin star restaurant. Langoustine is a must!
Dessert was so surprisingly good. Way above my expectations and took my dessert experience to a different level. We were also provided a special slice of cake to celebrate our anniversary which was a very nice touch. More surprisingly there was still a sweets cart to end the meal. My stomach was just not prepared for this! I still had to try a few items and delicious!!
Service was outstanding. The server who brought bread and the sweets was very personable and charismatic and made the experience very enjoyable. Another gentleman who served us on and off had a subtle humour to his interactions with us while maintaining very professional.
The restaurant itself was beautiful. Classy and quiet for an intimate dinner. But could also accommodate larger parties without causing any overcrowding in the restaurant as it did not appear they would ever try to maximise the seating capacity. Tables were always staggered with space for privacy.
Overall the best meal ever! Was it pricey? Yes. But worth it and if you’re going to splurge on something like an experience, this would be one!!!
A magnificent experience and everything was perfection! But came with a very steep bill. We’ll probably be back.
Fantastic! Pricey though of the highest quality and taste. The best special night dining experience.
The food, wine and service were exceptional. I would like to give it a five star rating but unfortunately the ambiance fell short due to other guests being on their cell phones. Almost every table had guests actively using their phones throughout dinner (including talking, shining the light across the room and scrolling). To sum it up, this was the most beautiful and expensive meal I've ever had and a guest at the table next to us talked and facetimed on their phone through most of their dinner. While the waiter intervened once, the problem was not resolved. We spent most of our dinner unwillingly listening to their phone conversation. This behavior seemed very inappropriate for this level of restaurant and while in retrospect I could've spoke up in the moment, I still think the staff could've intervened more appropriately. Unfortunately this had a very negative impact on our dining experience. I have let the restaurant know of my complaint in hopes that they will be able to better resolve in the future.
Unforgettable dining experience
Everthing is perfect! We ordered a 4 courses set which is way too much for me and my boyfriend. The restaurant helped my BF to set up a suprise for me and even served cake as gift. Hope to be there next time.
Not our first time, not our last. Fantastic food, very expensive but the man was a genius. Food in plates are a work of art.
Young chef at MGM location is incredible. Had the tasting menu - small bites but you do not walk out hungry, actually very full.
As expected when visiting one of Vegas top 2 restaurants.
anniversary dinner. 5 course was a lot of food. I’m not sure about the 16 course. Pricy, but you get what you pay for. Best service, fantastic food, nice atmosphere, 3 and a half hour experience. Service may seem slow, but will not be noticed if you’re carrying on a conversation. Will return next year.
Food was incredible!
(2) 25th Anniversaries & (2) 50th Birthdays
Maybe I was expecting too much but it really wasn't worth the price. Service was excellent but really where in Vegas doesn't have exceptional service. Food was cooked well, presentation was great but small servings for the price. I've had better tasting and larger quantities for half the price.
The best possible way to celebrate our wedding day! Everything was beyond amazing. Thank you so much!
Magnificent from top to bottom. Each dish was more delicious than the next and the sommelier’s suggestions were spot on. Highly, highly recommended!
Great exquisitely prepared little tasting portions....tasting menu highly recommended!! Service is good, ambiance is lovely. One of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas!!
Superb in every way. One of the US's great restaurants.
Probably the most amazing dining experience of my life. Everything was first rate, from service to food to comfort level. It crossed an item off my bucket list, and even though it’s pricy I don’t regret one bit of it.
One of the most exquisite meals we have ever had. Everything about it was incredible - the presentation, taste, staff, setting. Amazing.
Beautiful place, outstanding cuisine, exceptional service! If you’re in the mood to splurge, this is the place to do it!
One of the best places I have ever eaten! The quality of the food and service was exemplary.
Food and service were amazing! Pricey but worth the splurge for a special occasion
We had the most amazing culinary experience. The food was meticulously presented, the flavors and textures were exquisite, and the service was impeccable. The menu was approachable, and they had a selection of around a dozen different breads to go with the very special butter and oil. The complimentary mini desserts were adorable and delicious.
Great ambiance and service. Choice of breads from the cart with lots of selections. Ordered 4-course menu (amuse bouche, 2 apptizers, 1 main course, dessert) at $198/each. Ordered caviar (+$35), foie gras (+$25), and truffled langoustine ravioli (+$35, signature of Joel Robuchon). The appetizers are real highlights. Had black cod and ribeye for main courses. Black cod is really delicious and the meat is very tender. Had Bubble Sugar Sphere and Souffle (+$10) for desserts. Bubble Sugar Sphere is on the sweet side, but has beautiful presentation. Souffle is also really good and definitely a classic. At the end there's the sweet cart where you can pick anything/everything you want (if you are not full already) - which is an awesome ending to the wonderful dinner.
Overall I did expect more, much more. On the 3 Michelin star world is easier to get disappointed then to be surprised. To put things in the correct perspective if you go to L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon (right next door) you have a better experience, with great dishes in a fantastic environment. Overall is a better value for your money.
Service was friendly and attentive but pace of the dishes was the worst ever on a restaurant rated as this one. Considering the room was not full I believe it is a point to review.
Some of the dishes were visually very appealing but disappointed on the flavor aspect. 2 or 3 were really spot on and memorable. The music was annoying (piano only and louder then I believe it should be) and visually the room was not interesting at all.
The choice was for the top menu of the restaurant that cover all famous dishes by the chef.
The restaurant is located beside L’atelier. It’s a total different ambience between this and L’atelier. Please remember to wear a coat for guys!
The food is amazing! Service is top notch! Quality of food is superb! Special thanks to the team for celebrating my birthday there :)
PS: creme brûlée is a must to try with their very delicious vanilla ice cream!
Out of this world! Dining perfection! This restaurant is the only reason to visit MGM Grand. Such attention to detail, every bite of each course was truly divine.
Each course at Joel Robuchon is an exquisite piece of gastronomic artistry. The bread cart is a bakers delight with over a dozen freshly baked morsel from which to choose. The amuse bouche of a cherry gazpacho was smooth, perfect tartness. Portions are perfectly sized for the number of courses one chooses so you leave sated yet not full. The wine list is biblical in volume. The service impeccable friendly yet unobtrusive. Expensive yes but you get more than what you paid for.
Superb dining experience with attention to service as well as the finest of food and wine.
