Joel Robuchon - MGM Grand
Limited seating creates the intimacy one can expect from Joël Robuchon. Reservations strongly recommended.
Choose from the multi-course tasting menus or order a la carte. Specialties include Le Caviar, a trio dish of thin couscous and Oscetra caviar, smooth cauliflower cream, and delicate gelée of green asparagus.
Maybe I was expecting too much but it really wasn't worth the price. Service was excellent but really where in Vegas doesn't have exceptional service. Food was cooked well, presentation was great but small servings for the price. I've had better tasting and larger quantities for half the price.
The best possible way to celebrate our wedding day! Everything was beyond amazing. Thank you so much!
Magnificent from top to bottom. Each dish was more delicious than the next and the sommelier’s suggestions were spot on. Highly, highly recommended!
Great exquisitely prepared little tasting portions....tasting menu highly recommended!! Service is good, ambiance is lovely. One of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas!!
Superb in every way. One of the US's great restaurants.
Probably the most amazing dining experience of my life. Everything was first rate, from service to food to comfort level. It crossed an item off my bucket list, and even though it’s pricy I don’t regret one bit of it.
One of the most exquisite meals we have ever had. Everything about it was incredible - the presentation, taste, staff, setting. Amazing.
Beautiful place, outstanding cuisine, exceptional service! If you’re in the mood to splurge, this is the place to do it!
One of the best places I have ever eaten! The quality of the food and service was exemplary.
Food and service were amazing! Pricey but worth the splurge for a special occasion
We had the most amazing culinary experience. The food was meticulously presented, the flavors and textures were exquisite, and the service was impeccable. The menu was approachable, and they had a selection of around a dozen different breads to go with the very special butter and oil. The complimentary mini desserts were adorable and delicious.
Great ambiance and service. Choice of breads from the cart with lots of selections. Ordered 4-course menu (amuse bouche, 2 apptizers, 1 main course, dessert) at $198/each. Ordered caviar (+$35), foie gras (+$25), and truffled langoustine ravioli (+$35, signature of Joel Robuchon). The appetizers are real highlights. Had black cod and ribeye for main courses. Black cod is really delicious and the meat is very tender. Had Bubble Sugar Sphere and Souffle (+$10) for desserts. Bubble Sugar Sphere is on the sweet side, but has beautiful presentation. Souffle is also really good and definitely a classic. At the end there's the sweet cart where you can pick anything/everything you want (if you are not full already) - which is an awesome ending to the wonderful dinner.
Overall I did expect more, much more. On the 3 Michelin star world is easier to get disappointed then to be surprised. To put things in the correct perspective if you go to L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon (right next door) you have a better experience, with great dishes in a fantastic environment. Overall is a better value for your money.
Service was friendly and attentive but pace of the dishes was the worst ever on a restaurant rated as this one. Considering the room was not full I believe it is a point to review.
Some of the dishes were visually very appealing but disappointed on the flavor aspect. 2 or 3 were really spot on and memorable. The music was annoying (piano only and louder then I believe it should be) and visually the room was not interesting at all.
The choice was for the top menu of the restaurant that cover all famous dishes by the chef.
The restaurant is located beside L’atelier. It’s a total different ambience between this and L’atelier. Please remember to wear a coat for guys!
The food is amazing! Service is top notch! Quality of food is superb! Special thanks to the team for celebrating my birthday there :)
PS: creme brûlée is a must to try with their very delicious vanilla ice cream!
Out of this world! Dining perfection! This restaurant is the only reason to visit MGM Grand. Such attention to detail, every bite of each course was truly divine.
Each course at Joel Robuchon is an exquisite piece of gastronomic artistry. The bread cart is a bakers delight with over a dozen freshly baked morsel from which to choose. The amuse bouche of a cherry gazpacho was smooth, perfect tartness. Portions are perfectly sized for the number of courses one chooses so you leave sated yet not full. The wine list is biblical in volume. The service impeccable friendly yet unobtrusive. Expensive yes but you get more than what you paid for.
Superb dining experience with attention to service as well as the finest of food and wine.
Perfect food, very good ambiance. One of the best restaurants in US, i was dining in.
When you are in Vegas and are looking for the top culinary experience....look no further than JR.
Magnificent dishes, exceptional service and a graceful setting make for a highly joyful dinner experience.
If the occasion is extra special, there is no better place!
Excellent food, exceptional service, it was a dinner to remember for a long time!
Overall service is great. The restaurant is located in MGM Grand on the strip. Very convenient location. Food taste good. Their dessert cart is my favourite. The bread is freshly baked everyday as well.
Outstanding dining experience! We had the full tasting menu, and every course was fabulous!
I wish the water was included with the meal. It made the experience not as enjoyable when you're hit with a bill at the end for something you expect free of charge.
For that once in a lifetime experience, $250-500 per Person will garner you an unbelievable bread cart, pastry/dessert cart, impeccable service by a rotation of experienced and courteous servers, beautifully plated food with interesting flavours and textures. A gorgeous dining room and ambiance complete the experience. Seems a much better investment than the sAme amount you could lose at the casino without getting anything!
Been here a few times. Everything is very good, some things outstanding. Would like to see more reasonably priced food+wine pairing options. French wine prices have become a problem for US based restaurants.
Todo excelente, Solamente les fallo a la llegada, nos enviaron a un salón a esperar mesa y nadie se acercó a ofrecer algún aperitivo mientras esperamos la mesa. Tuve que ir a llamar a un mesero para que lo hiciera
Absolutely perfect! We did the 16 course tasting menu and it lived up to the hype. From the amazing wait staff, to the oppulent flavors, to the uniqueness of the pairings...I can't say anything other than you will feel and taste a truly royal world-class experience.
This is my third time dining at this restaurant and the second time I have indulged in the chef tasting menu. I must say dinner was on par to my last experience but I was disappointed in the final dessert course. The final desert has been a true work of art. This time I was truly disappointed. Although it tasted fine, it was not the usual level both taste and artistic flare that I have experienced in the past. Our reservation was very late and we were the last ones in the restaurant. Maybe they ran out of the wow!
Great service, food was prepared perfectly and presented perfectly.
This dining experience was one of the best of my life. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The presentation and ambience was beautiful and meticulous. And the food was like artwork, but also delicious. It's not an experience I'll soon forget and I'm grateful to have had it.
The experience at Joel Robuchon was nothing short of exquisite. Each dish presented was both masterfully executed and delicious. My husband and I dined here during a trip the Vegas and were astonished at the art we were consuming.
For those considering a reservation here you must expect a high price tag, which is well worth the culinary journey. My only constructive comment for the restaurant is the whisper-like volume among staff and guests gave the atmosphere an almost stuffy air. Despite this small criticism, we had an unparalleled experience and would recommend Joel Robuchon to anyone.
Impeccable service...unique cuisine
Absolutely amazing! But it does seem to be for a certain clientele. My husband felt a little out of place.
This was my second time here and the experience was great. The food was delicious. My favorite dish is the chicken, but I did not get enough🙁. The soufflé is the best dessert ever! And, the assortment of breads—to die for!
This was, without doubt, the most outstanding restaurant experience I have ever had. Every course was uniquely incredible, the service team was extremely thorough, attentive, and informative, and the ambiance was extraordinary (I was afraid of bright, floral colors, but was pleasantly surprised by a darker wine-burgundy theme throughout. It didn't hurt that our table happened to be in a small and secluded area separate from the main dining area.
I will never go to Las Vegas again without reserving a table at Joël Robuchon. The restaurant seems contained in its own world, and it's one I absolutely cannot wait to visit again. It's a place for collecting memories, not pictures. I only wish I could give it more than five stars.
This was an amazing experience! Once in a lifetime!
Wonderful. The vegetable work was amazing.
Wonderful dinner. I would highly recommend it. I would only have one negative comment. There's no reason to mark the wine up as much as they do. I actually had to all if I was reading through the magnum selection. Nope! We are not cheapscapes. I have no problem paying $500 for a bottle of wine when it's a $500 wine. In fact we did but two bottles like that and it was wonderful. Just overpriced for what it was. Our bill for three people was right at $3600 after tip so do be prepared. That is too be expected though at a 3 Michelin Star restaurant.
Enjoy! You will love the experience.
