Have a wonderful birthday brunch with our family! Food and service was amazing! Only downside was that we ended up at the table closest to the kitchen doorway, so there was constant traffic going by our heads throughout the meal. Very tight, they could have given up a little room for more comfort. Will be back!
I picked this place for lunch as my final stop for my visit to the city. I had oysters, followed by clam chowder and tuna tartare. Food was excellent. Oysters were very fresh but not many options were available. They do offer lunch sets as more economic options. The restaurant has high ceilings and natural light in, which gave it a romantic ambiance.
I booked a table to celebrate my 70 th birthday on my own as part of a week of dining with friends. I was pleased that my table request was honoured so I had a prime seat to people watch as well as drink in the ambience of rich brass, oak, and Christmas garlands and lights. The service and food were impeccable and the meal finished with a lovely surprise- a creme brule complete with candle. Thank you to everyone who made this a memorable evening. Cheers!

One of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver. The seafood is always fresh, the steaks are always of a proper cut and cooked exactly as ordered, and the staff is always courteous and aiming to make each dining experience that little bit better than the previous.
Two for $100. Good food, enjoyable environment, thoughtful service. We had lobster soup and today's fish duo and fish tacos. The soup and fish tacos are of great value, yet the today's fish duo is not recommended. The cocktails are also not bad, plenty of choices.
I was disappointed with the quality of the food at brunch. For $16 I got a large plate of dried out bacon, dried out toast, dried out sausage, dried out potatoes and rubbery scrambled eggs. The service was generally pretty bad. They did keep the coffee and coming around, so that was good. However, I expect much more out of a restaurant that has such a good reputation in Vancouver.
Restaurant was very nice, came early but was not allow to order off the happy hour menu, even though we had a reservation. The freshness of the Oysters was fantastic, the local varieties of fresh fish was also excellent. We also shared a large Rib Steak family style and it was perfectly prepared. Would not hesitate to go back, but being unable to try items on the Happy Hour menu, when we were ready to spend a business dinner there did bother me a bit.
Awesome table. Great hosts. Excellent service. Decadent food. Wine selection was good and priced affordably. Menu has plenty of steak options but we decided to share a generous seafood platter that included crab legs, a full lobster and plenty of other goodies. Plenty of sides to choose from.
I chose this place for me and my partner's anniversary, and we really enjoyed the night here. Our server recommended us a big hot sea food plate for two and that was right amount. We had lobsters, salmon, scallops, mussels, crabs, everything was so delicious. Our server offered to take a photo of us which was sweet.
we were sitting at the worse table ; half moon shape 6 on one side and a walk away on the other. hard for conversation, very noisy spot . the service was extremely slow , waited a long time for our meal. nevertheless, the waiter was very nice and courteous and the food was delicious. next time if coming with a large group will specially ask not to be at that table , if i would have known i would have not gone that night !
My husband and I enjoyed a date night on the town. Our waiter, Jamie was very attentive and went beyond our expectations. When my husband realized that he had forgotten to bring out Cirque du Soleil tickets, Jamie was able to get the email address of the restaurant manager and have our tickets printed for us. Everything we ordered tasted exactly or better than we were expecting and we were even treated to slice of cheese cake for dessert. Knowing that we had plans after, Jamie made sure to have us out of there in a timely manner without making us feel rushed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to next time.
My wife’s pasta meal very good, i ordered my steak medium, it came rare so I sent it back they heated my plated brought it back and still rare. They ended up cooking me another and still rare. Didn’t eat my meal but they compt it. I would give it a second chance.
