   Perfection. Tuna tartar, salad du parc vinet, lobster spaghetti, hangar steak in peppercorn sauce. Everything was incredibly good. Wash it down with a beautiful bottle of Boudreaux rouge. Then take a long walk feeling good.

   Everything we read online and in reviews had us expecting a phenomenal meal at Joe Beef. What we got instead was phenomenal service and a great atmosphere with food that didn’t quite live up to the hype and felt overpriced. I tried escargot for the first time, and it’ll probably be the last but I have to admit, the seasoning on them was delicious. It just turns out escargot isn’t for me. Next came the fries, and honestly, they were the highlight of the meal. Perfectly crisp, well-seasoned, and probably the best I’ve ever had. I’d recommend going just for the fries, they’re that good. We also ordered the famous duck and lobster pasta, which had been highly praised online. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The portion of lobster was small, and the pasta itself was bland and lacked the rich, lobster-y flavor we were hoping for. That said, the duck was excellent, and the sauce it came with was rich and flavorful. At $50, it wasn’t a bad value for the quality of the duck, but overall, the dish felt uneven as somehow it felt like there was too much duck as the last few bites that I had from this dish felt gluttonous and too much, at lower price point and a smaller portion this dish would’ve been excellent. That being said, I would go again only for the experience and the quality of service that Joe Beef offered. The servers and staff were excellent and the atmosphere was amazing!

   Memorable dishes, especially the lobster spaghetti and “bagel” shaped maple croissant dessert. Appreciated the waiter recommendations. Don’t be afraid to ask their opinion. Food was truly outstanding.

   Food was a ghost of what it was 10 years ago, overpriced food with no charm. Service has faded as well, its sad.

   Amazing meal combining seafood and beef selections. The snails were incredible… melt in your mouth. Will return next time we are back in Montreal.

   Our server Flo, made the evening special and so much fun. The restaurant is charming and food outstanding. Continues to be one of my favorite restaurant in the world to visit.

   A Montreal Must! If you can manage to get to Joe Beef as soon as you get to Montreal, there is NO better way to set the tone of a Trip here. Yum yum yummy.

   Took my daughter for a special dinner . Everything was great. I especially liked our server who was fun , knowledgeable and added so much. Steak and all food was great. We will be back.
