If you have never eaten here..make it a Bucket List ITEM. BEST STEAK IN the Twin Cities..best lobster salad..great wine selection...interesting dishes on the menu...all served in a very quaint atmosphere. Love..love this experience each time we go. Thank you
Friendly, romantic, and delicious. Great atmosphere.
Excellent wine list. Very friendly staff. They clearly love their jobs.
First time at Joan’s. We were intrigued by the Open Table description (cozy) but came away very impressed with the food and service. The roast chicken was exceptional. Moist and juicy half bird. The brown butter apple “fondue” salad was a surprisingly deconstructed and delicious way to start. My wife’s monkfish was perfectly cooked. All ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. Wait staff is knowledgeable and attentive. A great place. We will be back.
Noise level made it impossible to have a conversation
Food was amazing but the staff only allowed 2 hours for our dinner. We were celebrating and felt rushed.
Great birthday dinner!!
Love, love Joan's in the Park. The food is marvelous -- a wonderfully creative spin on steak, chicken, and fish that separates the restaurant from the ordinary to the extraordinary. The owners and staff make dining there so personal you feel like you're sitting at home enjoying a luxurious dining experience. Strongly recommend for a special occasion (sans children), a romantic dinner, or a simple desire for really good food.
From the warm welcome on a cold night through the last bite of desert, Joan’s sets itself apart from any other restaurant in the city. The unassuming facade hides a gem of a place with a small menu focused on quality and a wine list well beyond anything you’d expect from a bar with 5 seats. The service is casual but refined. Menu highlights include the brioche style house bread, the milk braised pork, and the crispy shrimp starter.
Always a warm welcome at the door. Food is excellent, Dan our waiter was on the mark with recommendations. Our go to place for date night❤️
