I was unimpressed in general but staples like Lo Mein and Fried Rice and California Roll were actually terrible.
The waitstaff was underdressed for a family restaurant.
I go to Jing regularly (all the way from Parker). Food is always delicious. Service is outstanding. Manager (maybe owner) Lawrence is very professional and friendly. Great place all around for get-togethers with friends in the bar area and a romantic dinner date in the main restaurant area. They offer to make certain items gluten free, which is a huge plus!!
Great food and drinks. I love the fried rice. The Sea Bass is great as well as the Asian dishes. My mom had the fish & chips and it was excellent.
Food is good. Service as well. Seating sometimes is a challenge
Lobster dumplings are awesome. Fun drinks
Another great night at Jing!! Good food, great service (our server remembered us from last time!) and such a pretty restaurant. I’m always torn about whether to dine in the main dining room or the lounge. Totally different but equally cool. Literally the difference between black and white! Have to say the lounge makes me want to redecorate my own dining room!
The food was wonderful, the drink with the edible flower was both amazing and a great deal of fun for the whole group.
Family members have been to Jing and loved it. I received a gift card from my daughter for the restaurant so my boyfriend and I came for his birthday celebration. We loved everything about it. The food was amazing and the restaurant beautiful. Im anxious to return for happy hour, lunch, brunch or any meal or occasion. Another cool thing was Jing greeted us at the door and took us to our table- maybe he does this all the time, but we were impressed. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Always enjoy dinning at Jing. Met a girlfriend for lunch yesterday, started with a glass of bubbly and edamame; the attention to detail was fabulous, our servers could tell we were enjoying catching up, so they didn't bother us to hurry and order, instead, they quietly removed the edamame shells and brought a clean bowl. When our food arrived, she had pad thai, which was excellent with great flavor and I had a selection of Sashimi and Sushi, which was fabulous! This is a great place to enjoy lunch or dinner. The bar scene seems to be a great choice on a weekend. When we were there on a Friday night, by 6pm, it was already full.
We had a great experience for restaurant week. The food options were interesting and varied and we were very surprised with the beautiful ambiance of the place.
Wonderful restaurant! Would highly recommend! We had a great birthday party!
We went with several small plates and a roll for dinner. The lobster dim sum was good. The others were okay. The rainbow roll was straight out off the fridge. Not freshly made. Not very appealing. Drinks were excessively expensive.
Service and food was premier! The prices are a little high which is why it’s great for a date but not really for family dining.
Solid 4.5+ stars. EXCELLENT. YES, we would go back. DETAILED VERSION: This is our 2nd time to Jing, and it is becoming one of our favorites in Centennial/Tech Center. We expected a very good to excellent meal and this time was no exception. SERVICE: We had a mix up on a booth versus a table (booth by request), and had to wait a bit but were seated at a nice table viewing the dining room. For a date - one of the booths is the way to go for a couple - FYI. Phillip - our server - was Outstanding. Just the right amount of attention and great attitude to enhance a nice meal. We had various wines by the glass and they all went well with our meals. Prices of wines are what you would expect for an upscale eclectic Asian-Fusion place. FOOD: Because there was mix up in seating, the management comped us Edamame for an appetizer and we also had the Crab Rangoon. My wife had the Sea Bass, I had the Seafood Paella. Both were Excellent, as were the appetizers. I will admit the Paella was one of the better Paella's I have had in the last 5 years. Very yummy, we would order both entree's in a heartbeat. The rest of the menu we will try over time. OVERALL: Jing is a nice Gem in Landmark that we would go back to. Chef, service, and management do an awesome job. The management made a sincere effort to correct the seating snafu which I would give Kudos to. Prices are upscale, but hey - you are not at a Panda Express. YES, we would go back. Nice job again. We suggest you get reservations. NOTE: The bar scene is very lively on happy hour, which is separate from the dining room.
Fantastic, as usual !! Food was great and service was fantastic!! Love this place!!
Awesome atmosphere! Although rather pricey, the food is delicious and well worth the price in my opinion. Try the Strawberry Quinoa Roll or the Sesame Tofu if you're looking for some yummy vegetarian options :)
I took my wife there for her Birthday. The place was extremely loud, the food was way overpriced and her birthday was ignored. It definetely is an expense account yuppie location.I was served 4 scallops and 2 shrimp with a few vegies for 27 dollars. We could have gone to a dollar a scoop place for better food. The hot and sour soup was neither, sickly sweet with no pork, tofu, black tree fungus or any of the supposed wild mushrooms they claim to serve. We will not be going back. Also my wife and I are both chefs so we were looking for a good culinary experience but were completely disappointed.
The Google search menu needs to be updated, because an item on the menu that I was looking forward to wasn't available at the restaurant. I was very pleased with the tenderloin, however.
I enjoyed the restaurant I just felt that it could’ve been dusted or cleaned better they were cobwebs in the window wells in the windows and on the curtains I’ll tell her that I had a wonderful time
High end feel, if you like that sort of thing. Wait staff seemed coached to minimize interactions, excepting our waitress. More seeming to be thanks actually being.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the meal. Went with my daughter and she had the sea bass. Absolutely loved it. I thought she was going to lick the plate! I had the chicken and it was good as well! Service was spot on. Very attentive so they must have read the bad reviews! Will go again!
Great food, atmosphere and service! As always! Love this place.
great service and atmosphere. food pretty good not great.
Great atmosphere, great food, great experience! One of our favorites.
Excellent food and service! Everything our server suggested was amazing! The lobster dim sum and Kobe on the rock are pretty much the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth! The chocolate toffee mousse is to die for! We will be back for sure!
Loved it as usual. It’s one of my favorite restaurants.
What a wonderful restaurant this is. From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The menu was not as large to confuse you and our server “Kristen” was magnificent in helping us select our meals. We totally enjoyed our evening.
Went here for dinner on V Day. Staff was wonderful. Enjoyed the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. Food was flavorful and well prepared. Will be back again!
Lovely decor and classy ambiance. Delicious food--we had the chilean sea bass. The signature cocktail (Drunken Buddha) is a prodigious experience if you eat the button. Excellent and knowledgeable server.
The service was awesome the minute we walked in the door. From the hostess stand to the end of the meal everyone was very attentive and accommodating. The food was spectacular. I highly recommend getting the Kobi on the rock as an appetizer! Fun to cook at the table and delicious! For a true dining experience I highly recommend Jing!
I have been to Jing before and have always enjoyed the experience. I really enjoy their bar - they make an excellent martini, and have a horizontal fireplace that makes the experience rather cozy. The décor in the restaurant is also nice, and the wait staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent - we shared a sushi roll as an appetizer that was very good. For the second course I had a lovely kale salad and my friend had the soup which smelled divine. We then shared an order of Peking Duck which was really good. The skin was super crispy and the duck meat was tender. Although I am not an expert on Peking Duck, my friend said it was one of the best she'd eaten. I would recommend the restaurant for those looking for a nice dining experience in comfortable and inviting setting.
Honey scallops and shrimp were over battered and fried. Definitely not light or “flash” fried!
After years of coming to Jing with adults and raving about so many things, I realized this time that they are quite simply not kid friendly. at. all. and that changes my opinion of the restaurant, unfortunately.
Service was terrible. We go to Jing a lot and were disappointed.
Good food & service.
This visit to Jing was a disappointment. We've had some good experiences in the past, but we felt that the food this time around did not live up to expectations. Salads were fine, but the sushi was average with an expensive price tag. Best value of wine was Prisoner ($62/bottle) and that was enjoyable. However, when we were considering another bottle the server intentionally tried to steer us toward a $125 bottle. Not sure if we'll go back anytime soon.
The sushi was good. My meal was just okay. Kung pao scallops were disappointing
Nice place...been here for lunch lots of times, first time for dinner. Ordered appetizers and some sodas and dinner. Server was a bit odd. Felt like they were trying to rush us out the door. We don’t drink alcohol and a couple people were vegetarians, so our food bill wasn’t huge. I’m sure they were anxious to get the next table in.
I had high expectations of the food at this place, but was disappointed. The high price paid was really for the ambience more than the food.
