Great sushi and chef willing to visit. Perfect recommendations
Long wait at the Hibachi table, even with reservations.
They were quick with drinks and getting what you asked for.
Great sushi and sashimi! Habachi show and food was enjoyed by all in our party!
We took my daughter here for her 25th birthday . This place is amazing . The staff is super friendly and very helpful . We sat at the Sushi Bar it was fun . I tried things I never would have thought of. Delicious ! Cant wait to go again
Love the salmon pepper sashimi...the volcano roll and the Brittany roll. Really good!
Great waitress. We will be back!
We have been going to Jinbeh for years and love sitting in the quiet sushi bar. The service is wonderfully attentive but not intrusive and the food is always great. We order Jinbeh unique dishes and love to try the seasonal rolls they offer.
The Poke Bowlwas so delicious, and my friend had a pot vegetable dish that looked delicious and smelled Wonder.
Alex was fantastic as a chef
I love the sushi creations at Jinbeh. Items I’ve not found anywhere else.
Had a hair in my food. Food wasn't good. Veggies were bland . Everything has teriyaki smh
Service was not good. Waitress was not friendly all. Food was not good enough to want to go back. Pricey for quality. Waste of my money on this one.
The food was fantastic, the woman who took care of our table was either in a bad mood or just unhappy. Was very short in her responses and only smiled when she brought the bill and then it seemed rehearsed. Once we were signing our credit card slips she hovered to see how much we were tipping. I will go back, just won’t be seated in her area.
food was very good. really liked the ambience.we had the shrimp dinner which was really great.
I guess waiter is busy with customer’s service.Additional orders, it was hard to do.
I wanted to enjoy eating more slowly. But, if I have the opportunity to go near ,I will let you go.
The tatami room is the way to go
Thank you for always having my table ready! Service is quick...perfect for business lunch!
Nice authentic Japanese table service that is timely and traditional. Sushi is of very high quality and beautifully arranged. Good value for thee price. There are always Japanese speakers eating there. Habachi is on one side of the restaurant, sushi bar, Japanese tables with floor seating, and regular tables are on the other side of the restaurant. Always delicious!
I am a long-time fan of Jinbeh. I always get the Land & Sea, which is a filet and sea scallops. On this occasion, the chef let us down. I have almost always had a really good chef. In this case, the chef cut the filet pieces WAY too small to where there was little or no juicy center. He really ruined such a good cut of meat. He also cut the sea scallops in half. I have never seen that done and it is clearly a sign of a novice chef who cannot tell when they are or are not done and needed to cut them up while on the grill. The bean sprouts were also underdone and not well seasoned. I typically go to this location for lunch and don't have an issue so perhaps it was just this one evening shift chef. Hopefully they will figure this out and get this chef properly trained. Food was way too expensive to mess up like that.
The only negative was that our waitress never smiled. Absolutely zero personality.
My favorite Sushi restaurant of all time. The fish is superb, and the staff is exceptional. Always friendly even when super busy. The sushi chefs are creative and always attentive to special requests.
Had a reservation for my 3yr olds birthday. Even called back to reaffirm. They seated us 1 1/2 hours after our reservation time. They then seated the other hibachi side 10 minutes later. They then started cooking for the group that had been there for 15 minutes. Finally started cooking for us when my daughter started crying because she had been waiting almost 2 hours. My wife and her left. Got no show at all. Got told sorry and a $20 discount even though only 2 out of 5 meals got eaten. Ruined evening. I will never go back. Cost over $120. For 2 chicken fried rice meals.
Love this place!
It takes too long from the time you sit until your cook comes to table. i won't be back
Took my wife here for her birthday with the family. Food was excellent. Only downside was distance from our home in Dallas.
The filet mignon teriyaki was delicious. Tender steak with a great sauce. Really enjoyed the chicken fried rice as well. Very tasty.
Server very rude. Served patrons of Asian before us (white). Had to ask for service multiple times. Won't be back
Great service with great good. Wonderful dining experience!
Service felt very rushed. Dined as a couple. We were not asked if wanted dessert or a second drink and once our plates were gone, the check arrived. I know this is quite normal in restaurants in the US, but it did feel very machine-like. Otherwise, food pleasant, reasonable value.
Every meal here is amazing. I've been here a number of times while on business and have yet to be disappointed.
Our server who was from Japan was just delightful! The sushi was prepared authentically & presented authentically & with pleasure. We had a lovely time in the sushi part of the restaurant and at the darling little bar in the middle. We will definitely go back!
We have been coming to this location for years. It is a drive for us, but during a special occasion this is our place. It's casual and the staff is great. They also accomodated my kids (2yrs and an infant). We went for our 10 yr anniversary. The sushi is pretty good. We always get the hibachi...but next time we will be trying the noodles. Price wise... it's become pricey, but worth it for a special occasion or date night.
The wife & I frequent Jinbea since it's close to home & love the grub. Great sushi & hibachi
Sushi rolls were dried out as if had been sitting out for some time before serving. Ordered hibachi steak that had an extreme amount of fat on it. Service was terrible. Our server was a middle aged woman that would not talk to us. We had to flag her down to place our order. It took almost 45 minutes to receive food and when we did, it was cold. The server would wander around the restaurant aimlessly doing nothing when she could have been helping customers. Overall a horrible experience for over priced food! Will never return to this place.
I always make an effort to eat here while I'm in the Las Colinas area. Amazing meal.
Food was great, derive was great, the show was great, the atmosphere was great, everything was just top notch. I would go everyday if I could financially support it.
Service was slow
Food was great
Location is great - Las Colinas on strip near Lake Sharon
Venue is too small and cluttered inside
We came for Mother's Day and had a party of 10. I will NOT return nor recommend this location to others. The Lewisville location is much better.
Highly recommended by Concierge at nearby hotel. We were promptly seated, served our salad and soup which were ok. The hibachi cook had a good personality, but over cooked the lobster, shrimp and scallops. There is nothing worse than scallops that are burned. We chalk this one up to a bad referral.
We ordered basic sushi rolls (not any of of the specialty rolls) and the quality was terrible. The tolls were falling apart. Pieces of fatty fish were falling out of the rolls and to boot the basic rolls were priced higher than some other places in the area. If they can't do basic sushi right, you can assume that their specialty rolls and sashimi follow suit in terrible quality and taste. This place is a stones throw from where I live and work but I don't think I'll come back or reccomend this place to anyone.
Positive Note: The people there were very kind and attentive.
I must have had a new chef. He didn't know what he was doing, I paid for dinner portions and received lunch, he over cooked the steaks and forgot many steps. I tried to let him make it...I usually have a much better experience.
