Jinbeh Japanese Restaurant
The food was pretty good and the whole evening was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion
As usual...great food, great experience. Not too long of a wait for a Saturday night
It was a birthday dinner and we started off being RUSHED from the waitress. Her attitude alone kinda put a damper on the fun atmosphere of the evening. She was unwilling to answer questions, flipped the sushi sheet over in my hands when I asked what a certain roll was. Up charges were not brought to our attention (even though on the menu) BUT WE FELT compelled to HURRY and I didn't get to read the whole menu. Martin did a great job cooking and everyone was pleased with their meal. Complimentary cheesecake for the birthday guy was very nice too.
If you are thinking about eating here probably would consider entree dining. Hibachi was basic and food was fair but they charge as if it’s #1. It’s my second time to a Jimbeh (2 different locations) and both were same. Probably will not return, there are much better hibachi restaurants.
Always delicious. One of our favorite restaurants to dine at. All locations equally great.
We love coming here. The food is always excellent and you get a "show" to go along with it!
The absolute best. Best prices
It was fantastic! Great service. Wonderful food! Definitely recommend.
A wonderful dinner with family to celebrate my daughter's 12th BD!
Wonderful. Good for anyone. From out of town but came across this restaurant from looking through internet. The staff was courteous, cook was fantastic, and food was very good.
Birthday. Chef put on a great show!
We were staying in a hotel and wanted something close by and found Jinbeh right next door. I am so glad we did. If we are in the area again I am sure we will return.
This restaurant was recommended by our hotel but we were disappointed. The sushi was quite good, the edamame was ordinary and the shrimp tempura was disappointing. Other reviewers had warned of indifferent service so we were prepared for that. We do not plan to return.
The food was great, the chef was great, but our server was awful. She was extremely rude to everyone at our table and we were all in shock. We almost decided to walk out before we even order but decided to stick around. If I owned this place, she would be looking for another job. Everything else was pretty solid.
Nice for get-togethers where some want sushi and some don't. The sushi was well prepared and a good value. For those in the group that didn't want sushi, the teppanyaki grill cooked everything perfectly to order. Parking was in the attached garage which was close and entirely covered all the way to the front door which was nice due to the torrential downpour that we had that night.
Food is great and staff is attentive and accommodating.
Wonderful food and atmosphere....have been going here for over 25 years.
It was a good place to go to. Very good.
Delicious! Took my sister out for her birthday! Makes me want to come for my birthday!
We always liked Jinbeh Las Colinas but this time we sat on the sushi side for appetizers 45 min til our table time and didn’t get our sushi til our dinner was half way over
The steak was over cooked
This is a wonderful Japanese restaurant to go to before going to a concert or for a casual dinner. The food and service were both good. That said we only had the standard menu and did not do the hibachi section which I hope to do next time. Our biggest issue was finding the location due to construction on the road.
The food & service was excellent .
While we have rated Jinbeh highly across the board in the past, could not say the same this time, unfortunately. $303 out the door got our party of four adults and a 10 year old some really great food, a crabby waitress, and a mediocre hibachi chef. Hopefully service and chef will be better on our next visit!
Great food and overall experience. However, the filet mignon that we ordered was left off our hibachi order. They adjusted the bill once we brought it to their attention and all else service wise, went smoothly.
JinBeh is our very favorite restaurant. We've had our New Years Eve dinner for probably 20 years. The service and food is always well prepared and its very delicious.
Such an awesome experience! The food and service was amazing. Highly recommend it!!
Not the very best service. They didn't tend to our needs, they forgot to provide dishes, small bowls for soy sauce, everything felt rushed. Did not enjoy it.
Food was amazing and service was very good. Constantly refilling drinks and cleaning off dishes. Great spot. Our lobster was over cooked by a few seconds.
Been a customer for over 10 years. Always wonderful!
The menu was good, but food somewhat average for the price... albeit, there was nothing bad about it.
I really like this restaurant. So much so because of the food and dining experience. Only ONE DRAWBACK. We made reservations thru open table. We of course wanted the Hibachi experience. They call to confirm your reservation but if they dont reach you OR if you dont call back they will not reserve you for the Hibachi experience. I told them they need to include this on their website so that the customer will know you will be calling to confirm the Hibachi experience. We had to wait 45 minutes to get this experience SAME AS IF WE WERE WALKING IN OFF THE STREET. But overall I really love eating here.
I’ve had sushi at Jinbeh before and it’s delicious. But yesterday I had the lunch special sushi. Value of the fish and rolls was compromised. Fish didn’t taste as good and rolls were falling apart.
The food was just average and for the cost was way overpriced. Very disappointed with the attitude of “disinterest” by the waitress. Overall experience based on taking my wife out for a fancy Mother’s Day lunch was poor.
Delicious as always
Never a bad experience when dining here. I have been here countless times and each and every time it’s amazing service, chefs, and the meal.
The Ramen Noodles were delicious!
Great experience as always ... yummy hibachi without the benihana price 😋
We have been to Jinbeh before when we visit Las Colinas so we decided to go again. However, this time was not a pleasant experience. Sometimes your wait staff makes or breaks your experience. Well, it was a not pleasant experience from the get go. “Lily C.” stood there as we sat down with her hand on her hip demanded what we wanted to drink, never asked if we wanted a refill (my husband wanted another cocktail), slapped down the plates and gave desert we did not ask for (there was desert of CHOICE after the meal). Her overall demeanor represented she did not enjoy her job, well, we did not enjoy our experience.
This American traditional Japanese Bistro serves pretty authentic fare in non pretentious, functional rooms. The food is very good and represents good value.
