Great lunch spot. Service was quick and friendly enough, but we did have to request simple things like silverware, sauces, and drink refills. I ordered off the menu, and the Jinbeh salad was fresh and delicious. The sashimi carpaccio was good too. The other 3 in our party had hibachi, and there were mixed reviews on that. While the portion sizes were generous, it was on the greasy side, which didn’t sit well with everyone. Overall good for a quick business lunch and good for groups.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had the chicken and some sushi and everything was great.
The best hibachi in DFW and the best location. The original and loved by the city.
Another great experience at Jinbeh, even in this pandemic time! Everything we ordered was delicious as always! Noted the restaurant was observing social distancing and all staff were weaing masks, even the chefs!
Love this place and will return when we're in Las Colinas!
Jinbeh Las Colinas, is a very nice hibachi restaurant and sushi bar, with a very nice bar separating them. The beer and drink selection was excellent. The servers were professional and properly masked and gloved, in light of the current covid-19 situation. So, safety was an obvious priority. They made sure that there was good distance between our party and the parties on either side of us. My sashimi was good quality and well presented. And the hibachi steak was delicious. We will definitely go back and invite / recommend it to friends.
It was for a birthday and they didn't recognize the birthday. Service was so slow, we had 2 children and they didn't serve dinner for over an hour. For the price, I don't think I will return. The servers were friendly, it was just not the same.
Absolutely amazing food, great ambiance, and wonderful service! Highly recommend!
First timers. Best Hibachi experience I’ve ever had.
The food is DELICIOUS! We have only sat on the Hibachi side but we love it so much that we will always try to sit there. We always look forward to our reservation.
Food was fresh, hot, & everyone around the hibachi were nice & kept noise to a minimum
One of best authentic Japanese restaurants in North Texas. Menu is extensive and dishes are full and satisfying. Servers are fast, efficient and personable without being intrusive. During reopening tables are spread for social distancing and all utensils and chairs are sanitized. Servers wore plexiglas visors as well as masks and gloves. We have always been steady customers and were glad to see our favorite restaurant back in business.
Our server was actually really rude for no reason. We were nice and they were rude back. The person at the check out was on her phone the whole time and was also rude when we paid. the food was good but the service was just poor.
Food is always good here. This evening the service was slower than usual because they looked short staffed.
Great place for lunch!! The service was great and the food was delicious!
Still great after all these years. I have been going since it opened
Difficult to know how to review this restaurant. We were in town and wanted to eat hibachi for dinner. I made a reservation on open table and when we showed up the hostess acted very confused. Even though we were on time and had a reservation she told us we couldn't eat in the hibachi room. If we wanted hibachi we'd have to wait 30 to 40 minutes before we could even be seated. So instead, we ate in the traditional dining room. The food we ordered off the menu was great. Five stars for the food and one star for the customer service. If you expect to eat hibachi, you'd better call to confirm before you go even if you have a reservation.
Slow to get started, but very entertaining chef. The food was good, but a little overpriced.
We do Jinbeh every Christmas Eve as a family tradition. Food and service were great. It was Christmas Eve, so quite crowed for hibachi table. Had to wait over 40 minutes past our reservation time...not really Jinbeh’s fault, they can’t really control how long people linger.
Will be back next year!
We like to eat at the hibachi table at Jinbeh. The cooks don't try to be overwhelmingly entertaining, which makes for a more pleasant dining experience. They do the typical onion volcano and "choo choo", but they don't single out people and embarrass them.
The food is always excellent, from the appetizers and sushi down to the meats, rice, and veggies.
Jinbeh in Las Colinas is about 20 miles from our house, but definitely worth the drive. We always look forward to our visits there.
Service was attentive, but very cold (the opposite of friendly). Fried rice was the most bland I’ve ever had. Ordered filet mignon medium well, and some of my pieces were blood red.
I had not gone to Jinbeh in about 2 years and this experience was less than I remember. The food was okay and our chef was entertaining. But our waitress seemed to kick us out right after the bill was paid even though there was 2 open hibachi tables and there was not a crowd of people. The waitresses also were talking very loudly with each other a few feet away from us which wasn’t great.
My wife and I took our daughter and some of her college friends the experience was fantastic. We were a little late for our reservation and they still were very accommodating! Food was excellent! Highly recommend.
Always a great dinner and experience! We had one of our regular chefs for an early birthday dinner and he did not disappoint.
The restaurant opened at 5 PM. We had reservations for 5 PM. We got there early, they let us in And allowed us to be seated before dinner. Dinner was excellent. Service was outstanding.
Always good. It is a regular spot for a good meal.
Superior service. Excellent quality food. Wonderful do I g experience.
The food amazing, and the Hibachi was awesome. The service from staff could have been a little better. Overall it was great, will definitely eat here again
Sushi is awesome
We love this place. Great sushi and hibachi.
We are from out of state. Restaurant is close to the hotel. Reservations online, but someone called to confirm too, so quite easy! We were seated promptly, service was great and food delicious! Overall experience was great and we will go back again!
Experience was good
Food was just average, not tasty enough for the price. The "show" sucked. It wasnt even a show. We just saw fire for one sec. The cook said absolutely nothing and had a straight face the whole time. Wont be back.
Prefect - as always!
For over 20 years, I have revisited Jinbeh when in the area and have always found the experience to be exactly the same. Just right. They have survived in the area while others have not for good reason. I had a chance to to a peer to lunch and didn't hesitate to return to Jinbeh after 7 years and it was as good if not better than the last time. And their menu has expanded so it's not like they are stuck in the past. Well done folks! I'll be back.
We love this place. Best Japanese hibachi around.
The service was great Great and the cooks as well . Enjoyed my 35th birthday!
Best and freshest Sushi Restaurant in Texas. Jinbeh is always a pleasurable dining experience. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I give Jinbeh my highest recommendation. You will find, they exceed expectations.
Food was not great, didn't eat my entree, seafood boil tasted terrible. Waitress didn't even comp the food, she just took it away..
