My husband and I ate at Jimmy's mainly for the convenience as we were spending the night at the Silver Cloud Hotel. Jimmy's is located inside the hotel. It was a very good decision as we enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere of the restaurant. We sat in the bar area and watched the Mariner's game. It was a bit noisy (due to cheering for the game) but we were up for that and it made the evening more enjoyable. Our waitress/bartender was very knowledgeable about the menu and her service was spot on. She took our drink orders right away and gave us the right amount of time to make our dinner selections. I had a salad with calamari (can't remember the name of it but it was on their seasonal menu) and my husband had the Mahi Mahi fish tacos. Both were very tasty. I'd recommend Jimmy's for the good food and good service at reasonable Seattle prices.
My husband and I enjoyed our meal at Jimmy's the other night. It's kind of a sports bar, which is not all that interesting to us. The noise level was moderate, though, so we were able to enjoy our food and have a conversation. The waitstaff was very professional and attentive and the food was very good. We would eat here again should we be in the area.
Not a destination restaurant, but decent enough food if in the area.
Everything about Jimmy’s met or exceeded expectations. Good food, responsive service, and pleasant quiet atmosphere. We were there early for dinner. Would like to know if the same applies when they’re busy. Unfortunately, won’t know as we were visiting from Bethesda, MD.
We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. The staff brought out her dessert with a candle on it, which pleased her. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the staff was not at all overwhelmed by our group of nine.
Appitizer and entries were extre slow, but services and drinks were fine
I ate here for Easter Brunch. I loved the cinnamon roll. The was good variety on the menu. I would eat here again.
The is free three hours parking in the Silver Cloud Hotel garage while dining.
Jimmy's is the place where my family gathers for every special occasion. I always bring my elderly father, my disabled brother, and a variety of relatives. Sometimes we need a booster seat, or wheelchair access, and the staff at Jimmy's is always ready for us, even with last minute requests. The blueberry pancakes are delicious! I even love the coffee, and I am very picky about my morning coffee. We have been to brunch at Jimmy's on Easter, Christmas, Father's Day, and birthdays. The food is a great value and the service is exceptional.
Fire alarm! Ack!
We had a business group dinner. Service was really attentive, food was surprisingly good (not a typical hotel restaurant). Entire group of 10 were really pleased. Thank you
The usual excellent experience. Whether I’m dining alone or with a group, I never have any complaints. Our favorite server is Ana who always makes the effort to remember me and extend extraordinary service. I like that the manager is on top of things as well, welcoming and making sure everything is on par.
This is my “go to” restaurant for every occasion!
Cara was the best! So friendly, attentive and personable.
Benedicts were not good and pancakes were OK. Service was amazing though
Dined during lunch. The place was fairly empty; there was one other table and two ladies sitting at the bar. The service was super slow. More like I would expect during a busy happy hour instead of three tables. It felt like the couple drinking at the bar was receiving all the service.
The food was okay, but nothing to write home about.
Three friends met at Jimmy's for a late lunch mid-week. It was very quiet, the food was delicious (we all opted for comfort food) and the wine selection (by the glass) was nice. We had a very tasty California sauvignon blanc. And, because we were dining in off hours, we had the waiter to ourselves. I would definitely go back, especially since I'm often looking for a nice meal mid-afternoon.
We went to Jimmy's for brunch on a Saturday -- made reservations because Cap Hill is so crazy for brunch. We were all pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. Between the 4 of us-- we had the Hollywood benedict, brioche french toast, a club sandwich and a scramble. All excellent. Service was very friendly. We had a great time.
Just discovered Jimmy's recently after driving by for years. We tried it because it was one of the few places we could get a reservation for Christmas Day (made on Christmas Day.) My daughter liked it so much that she wanted to go back to Jimmy's for her birthday dinner in early January. The drinks were creative. The food was really delicious - and best of all, the menu was varied enough to cover a range of preferences. The staff is very engaged and has high service standards. Great dining experience.
It was amazing—although we did feel our server was trying to push us out even though they weren’t that busy!
Our group went to Jimmy's for our Christmas dinner. The meal was excellent! The menu selection was good for any type of palate. The service was outstanding. The menu was fairly priced. I will definitely be returning! I appreciate that the restaurant was open during the holiday.
Very nice food and wine/ drink menu with a lot of choices. Some items like the crab cakes were prohibitively priced but other dishes and drinks were reasonable. Very good service but would like the waiter to go the extra mile instead of me having to ask the manager for a take-out order. Food was very good but pasta bolognese much too salty. Probably just this one time as everything else was great. I will definitely return and would highly recommend to family and friends.
Jimmy's continues to be our favorite restaurant for family get-togethers as well as special occasions. We now even go to Jimmy's for holidays because of their excellent service. They happily accommodate my 93 year old father in his wheelchair. We have gone to Jimmy's with as many as 12 people and as few as two, and they always do an outstanding job of meeting everyone's needs. The blueberry pancakes are delicious, and they serve their coffee piping hot. Thank you so much, Jimmy's, for helping us create family memories!
Good food but awful idea for anyone handicapped, elderly or wirh small kids. Bathroom is way far away and if have trouble with stairs you need to find a manager of hotel to unlock an elevator
We have been coming to Jimmy's for years. We almost always have great service and food. The female manager is always very friendly, professional and classy. The coffee is expensive and I would like to see more vegan options, but you get nice sized portions of food and we have always enjoyed most of the items we have had. We go to Jimmy's for brunch and every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Very comfortable seating and nice atmosphere (minus the tv playing sports). We would highly recommend Jimmy's to anyone and we have.
I went for Thanksgiving Dinner. Admittedly I am a bit of a food snob, but it was more like cafeteria food than something put together by a cook. It was also warm, not hot when brought to the table. I will try again, however. It is convenient and friendly and moderately priced.
Excellent service and meal. Very attentive and thorough. Highly recommend!
the food was a little bland. and overpriced at $16.00 for 2 small fish tacos.
Our meal was OK. Service was good, but the food was only so-so. I didn't care for the design of the restaurant with multiple TVs. I'd expect that at a sports bar, but not at a hotel restaurant. If we hadn't been staying at the hotel, we would have gone out. There are many terrific restaurants in the area, so I wouldn't waste money and a meal here again.
We brought 8 friends together for a Sunday brunch at Jimmy's prior to a Seahawks game. The place was quite busy but the service was efficient, friendly and smooth. We all had great food, though there were many "to go" boxes needed due to the large portions. Most of us got two meals out of one brunch item. One couple split their item and both of them left feeling well fed. Despite the busy time the place was quiet enough that we could all hear each other talk. A real treat in restaurants these days!
The quiet, pleasant atmosphere was the best thing about it. I could have a nice conversation with a friend and we didn't have to shout at each other.
My daughter attends Seattle University and we stay at the Silver Cloud on Broadway. Jimmy's is the restaurant attached and is also the provider of room service. The food is excellent and the menu is extensive. We always eat there at least once and/or order room service. It is convenient and delicious
I'm writing this review because I've eaten here many times and I think most people don't know about it and pass it by. It's definitely not romantic, but the food is very good, there's almost always space, and it's nice for a group for brunch or another meal. The service is also always very friendly and efficient.
Great menu for Sunday brunch -- very efficient service and friendly staff. Would recommend for family gatherings/groups.
Our group meets once a week and finds Jimmy's central Seattle location and excellent parking facilities an ideal gathering spot for Sunday brunch. Many in our group travel from outlying areas by public transportation or private auto. A few live wihin walking distance. The food is always top notch, service outstanding ...... and our table always set and ready to go! Dining at Jimmy's is a pleasure!
Excellent choice for a great meal! My compliments to the chef. The lemon chicken was delicious!
wanted a quiet area where 10 people could meet with a guest and have a discussion and not pay for a meeting room. Features that made it a success were relativly quiet area and very friendly service by staff and attentive service in ordering and delivering food to a large group
Best fries ever!
My freind and I went to Jimmys on Broadway as it had gotten some high reviews. My friend ordered a burger and he said it was good. I on the other hand ordered the beer battered fish and chips. The fish and chips were in fact not beer battered or fresh they were frozen and hand breaded and pretty awful. I had my hopes up for the fish and chips but they were terrible and I would not reccommend this resturant to anyone.
A very mediocre meal with very mediocre service. Our waitress seemed to be on top of it, but the kitchen was slow and the place was half empty. The menu and food looked like a thousand other restaurants in America: nothing new, nothing special, no imagination.
I love Jimmy's! My family goes there now for every holiday gathering. We went on Sunday for Father's Day, and the staff quickly accommodated our three extra guests who showed up at the last minute. They made room for a wheelchair, and a highchair. The blueberry pancakes are amazing as well. My family is very picky about coffee, and we love the piping hot coffee, especially when they leave a carafe at our table. My son ordered the brioche french toast which was somehow crunchy and fluffy at the same time. It is rare to find a restaurant with both impeccable service and delicious food...and Jimmy's has both!
I was looking for a restaurant that could accommodate a party of 12 and was kid friendly. The entire staff was great and the food was delicious
