Good food. Good service. Lovely dining room. What more could you ask for?
It was disjointed. We had our server introduce himself, and then later without and explanation, someone else started waiting on us.
Our entree was warm, certainly not hot, when it was served.
We were swatting at gnats throughout dinner.
Sunday brunch was fantastic!
The food and service were outstanding. We were there on a Tuesday. From the soup - vegetables in clear broth perfectly seasoned, salads,to several hot entrées one of which was mahi-mahi and it was delicious and fresh to delectable desserts, we were very happy dining in this beautiful restaurant with large windows overlooking the outside. This is a restaurant to go to every week.
When you want the nicest atmosphere, head over to Jills. Food and service are great, too
So appreciative that delicious vegan food is available. Everything was delicious. Just one suggestion - drinking ice water with meals is considered unhealthy by some. May I suggest asking people if they want some water?
Our sons high school graduation
We went to the Mother’s Day brunch for he first time this year. We expected that it would be in the restaurant but instead hey set it up in one of the St Julien’s ballrooms. That was disappointing and definitely had no ambiance at all. I didn’t check the price before booking but was pretty surprised when the bill came and the brunch cost $86 per person.
We won’t be back.
Waiter had a serious attitude, but otherwise everything was great.
I frequent the vegan buffet often. Always wonderful choices.
Me invitó mi esposo a cenar por mi cumpleaños y me encantó todo. Fue un excelente regalo, acompañada de uno de mis hijos y mi hermana
Wait staff was slow with clearing the table and providing refills on drinks (including water!). Forgot to bring coffee at the end so we just left. Food was very good, though slow service on the egg and prime rib stations.
The food offered at Sunday brunch met all of our high expectations. High marks. We loved the seafood, including the scallops. The chef was gracious as well. Servers’ uniforms were more like a steak house. Rustic for an elegant brunch. Our server was not as attentive as we would have liked.
We dined for a wedding celebration, which was written in the reservation notes. The first table we sat at was dark and had a cold draft. We asked to move to a nicer table and were accommodated. One of us ordered the caesar salad at the table the waiter had to stop two times to go and get other items for the cart/salad. Once this was completed it took another few minutes for the rest our meals to come. Overall, it was good experience however not the greatness we were expecting.
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding!
The Happy Anniversity dessert platter was a surprise.
The vegan dinner on Monday night was delicious, creative, and beautifully presented. I usually avoid tofu since it’s so rarely prepared well but this was quite the exception (it was only one of the four amazing courses). Delicious regardless of your food preferences! It’s a great way to get an expertly executed vegan meal (Monday nights) and the service and atmosphere were perfect! Quiet yet lively; we’ll be back!!
We went for the vegan lunch buffet. It was outstanding- lots of delicious options and very reasonably priced for what you get!
Jill's Ooh La La buffet has delicious options for everyone. The variety of mains and salads were interesting, the soup was savory, the dips and sauces outstanding, but the dessert masterpieces were scrumptious, and small enough that you can try several!
Beautiful restaurant with a very nice menu. Service is outstanding friendly and engaging. Food was good to great but a little mixed. Soup of the day, artichoke, was great. French onion however had far too many peppercorns in it that overpowered the excellent soup. Shrimp scampi prepared at tableside was excellent. Lobster ravioli is a very interesting dish that was very good although chucks of lobster were a little tough. Still overall a great restaurant.
We love going to this brunch! The food and atmosphere is awesome. However, yesterday our service was the worst service I have ever had there. We had to ask repeatedly for water and other drinks, we had dirty plates on our table most of our brunch. Just not Jill’s normal standards.
We are frequent dinners at Jill’s and first time we were disappointed
Generally good all around, just not this meal. I have had very good brunch at Jill’s.
The food, ambiance and service was above and beyond. I was treated extremely well and enjoyed my meal immensely
The food at Jill's is always good, and there was a nice variety of hot and cold, fancy and casual, sweet and savory. The atmosphere and decor are elegant, something not commonly found in Boulder. My only complaint is that it was very expensive and I would have preferred to not add in the unlimited alcoholic drink and then pay less.
Very good food. Fair pricing.
This was our first time at Jill's and Alex took great care and our steaks were exceptional. We'll definitely be back with family and friends.
The staff made my birthday brunch an exceptional experience, from birthday greetings from all, so the regular outstanding service and excellent vegan buffet, perfect waitstaff timing and attentiveness with plenty of privacy, too the matreD farewell.. already looking forward to my next visit.
Thank you Jill's and St Julien.
The presentation of the full Vegan Buffet is really stunning! Such a wonderful variety of flavorful healthy choices. My best friend and I frequent the Friday luncheon at least once a month. I also recommend, and take out of town guests to Jill's luncheon buffet. The selection is always exceptional, wine with lunch a real treat, and service very welcoming!
The oatmeal was runny with less than a handful of fruit. The Huevous Rancheros were skimpy; no beans, little pork, a small tortilla and a plate full of green sauce. Quit disappointed.
Great place to enjoy fine dining and quiet enough to enjoy conversation.
We had a nice time for a special occasion. The ambiance was great, the staff were extremely pleasant and friendly, the (vegan) food was done really well. Overall it was great, 10/10.
We experienced the Denver Restaurant Week menu at Jill's over the weekend and the experience was hit or miss. The atmosphere was great, it wasn't too loud, the lighting wasn't intrusive, and it was wonderfully decorated.
The service was below average. It wasn't busy, yet each course took quite a while to arrive. Our waiters changed multiple times causing a lack of attentiveness as our plates took a while to clear and our water only topped off at the start of dessert.
The food was pretty good for the most part. The biggest disappointment came with the lamb which came in sausage form opposed to a chop or piece of meat - not as described on the menu. The dessert was lackluster, the cheesecake had a very soft texture and lacked any sort richness or texture you would normally find.
I don't think we will be coming here again, especially not at full menu price.
food is good as usual.
service has gone down
server not attentive
water not refilled without asking
slow to start
seemed interested in serving more wine but not refilling water or bringing initial bread
very slow night so suprised service so poor
We went there for restaurant week. We had the duck and lamb entrees. The cheesecake was delicious. Always a great restaurant.
WE enjoyed the Vegan 4 course dinner What an experience Each dish was fabulous and I am not Vegan, but my daughter is . She savored every bite. it was a treat for her . Next time I am in Boulder I will be back great value too $30 four courses plus they gave us a complimentary glass of wine
can't beat that price anywhere
I purposely selected Jill's as it was part of Restaurant Week. We have gone to many other restaurants over the years that participate in this event. Typically, one of us goes with the Restaurant Week menu and the other orders off the normal menu and we share the appetizer and dessert. This is because there is too much food for both of us to order off the Restaurant Week menu. We attempted that at Jill's, and the waiter informed us that either we both had to order from it, or neither of us could. It sounded like it was too hard for them to manage it otherwise, which I don't understand at all, but if that is the case, they should state that on the Restaurant Week website. This is the first time I have heard this from any restaurant we have visited during Restaurant Week over the years, and if this had been properly stated on the Restaurant Week website in Jill's description, I would have selected a different restaurant. The food was ok - but with all the restaurants in Boulder, we likely will not return for dinner.
We have been to Jill’s on several occasions over the past 10 years or so. It is always a very fine experience. We tell those who ask: Jill’s never disappoints.
We had the Friday vegan buffet and it was great! Good selection of pizzas, pastas, salad, fruit, many cake options
Visited Jills for a Birthday Celebration Dinner. The waite people were very attentive.
All our entrees were properly prepared and very enjoyable. This is a very pleasant venue to have a special dinner.
As an aside the bar is a great spot for a happy hour get together.
