Fantastic Sunday Brunch! The Best Brunch in Boulder
had a lovely dinner with my family. amazing vegan choices, will 100% be back!
Beautiful, quiet ambiance. Service impeccable. The vegan food was absolutely delicious. Wine list was extensive and the bottle we ordered was perfect. The evening made for a happy valentines day.
Excellent valentine's dinner, thank you for an amazing meal experience down to every fine detail.
Valentines Day. Three or four course menu was a little disappointing.
Jill’s did not meet our expectations of fine dinning. The service was good and so was the food, just not what we would rate as excellent given the cost. Being that this was our first visit there and it was average at best we will probably not go back because there are so many other excellent restaurants in Boulder to choose from.
Very quiet and spacious, great for a special occasion. The service is top notch.
Excellent Valentine's Day experience! Favorite tableside preparations include the Ceaser Salad, Steak Diane, and Bananas Foster!!!
We were celebrating a wedding anniversary. The evening was very close to perfect. I had the short ribs and my husband the lobster ravioli. Both were delicious. The short ribs were tender and the flavors from the additional items on the plate were well balanced. I had a cocktail which was very flavorful. My husband had a beer which he said must of been from a can because it had a slight metallic flavor. We enjoyed the cheese board and finished off with a green tea cake. Both of which were very good. Our server was very attentive and polite. I said close to perfect because of the metallic beer, the noise was mostly from the kitchen which was a bit unromantic and the cheese board was a bit overpriced. Jill's is a great place to go for a special occasion. Will definitely return.
Great atmosphere, great service, great food. We would definitely go back.
Outstanding all the way around! Service, food, atmosphere:)
My fiancé and I went for Sunday brunch our anniversary for the first time. We had such a fun time and loved all of the food ( and drinks). Service was great and I recommend this to anyone for a special occasion!
Left after finding hair in our food and before that sent one dish back that was burnt and not edible!!
Food was overpriced and bland. Service was good and the restaurant was relatively quiet.
Staff was so accommodating to my request and it made for a wonderful celebration for my Mom's birthday.
Sunday Brunch at Jill's is great, probably the best in the Denver-Boulder area and highly recommended.
A very special place. My friends and I love to go there, especially for special occasions
Good food and very good service.
Without a doubt our waiter JT gave us a fantastic experience. I have never seen such amazing hospitality - if only there was one of him everywhere we went to eat! The food was INCREDIBLE and JT made an entree and dessert at our table - dinner and a show! We live in Texas but DEFINITELY hope to go back in the future!
We were here for their Monday night vegan tasting menu. It was outstanding! The interior is beautiful and the service was great. We will definitely return.
Not many places offer such a fabulous Sunday brunch buffet anymore. Jill's at the St Julien does it right! Everything about our experience was outstanding--impeccable service, outstanding food and variety, and relaxing, comfortable atmosphere.
It was a pleasure to enjoy the quiet atmosphere at Jills. Tables are spread out - not on top of each other - and servers can easily move through the room. Our server, Marta, was excellent. She capably met all of our needs. And the food was excellent.
Went for the Friday vegan brunch buffet. It was absolutely unreal. Everything was amazing. Rotating vegan pizzas, pasta, soups, and THE DESSERTS. The worst part about the whole thing was running out of room and not being able to eat more. It’s a regret I’ll carry with me the rest of my days.
But seriously...it was pretty good.
Two friends, my husband, and I went to Jill's for my husband's birthday a few weeks ago. Food and service were not up to their usual standards. I posted a review here, describing our experience.
A few days later, I was contacted by the General Manager, Philippe. He seemed to be appalled by our experience. He did NOT try to make excuses - he accepted that Jill's had messed up, and he asked us to give him another shot.
Accordingly, we returned last night. Philippe greeted us at the door, and took us to our table. From there it was a transcendent dining experience. The food was spectacular, and service was immaculate. In the opinion of everyone in our party, Philippe (and Jill's) did a great job of "making things right" for us.
We will definitely return to Jill's again!
Particular thanks to General Manager Philippe, servers J.T. and Todd, and cooks Georges and Alex!
Excellent variety and quality in the vegan buffet, but when we were there, it was eaten down quickly by other diners. The fruit and salads and deserts were not replenished although some of the hot entrees were. My advice si to arrive early and take everything you want at the outset.
We had a nice dinner and Alex was very helpful and knowledgeable in selecting our shared starters and our wine to go with our entrees.
Great food! Our server Marta was friendly and very helpful!
Amazing food and service. Highly recommend. We will be back.
Great place for a celebration lunch! The food was outstanding! And we loved the service! We will come back often!
Perfect place to catch up with close friends over brunch!
The Sunday brunch is fabulous!!
Great food and friendly service. Great location located inside of the St. Julian. We will definitely visit again!
I ate here while staying at the hotel and I highly recommend. They have a great seasonal menu, delicious food, and great ambiance.
Fantastic service from Marta. Food was prepared deliciously and presentation was top notch
About the finest example of what great food vegan can be.
The fixed price vegan dinner was excellent. Very good vegan food, and a substantial quantity. It was nice that a class of wine was included. We will definitely be back for Monday's vegan meal, and we plan on trying their vegan brunch on Fridays
Asked to sit at a darker table, was refused as "that area is closed!!??" Asked to have them turn the very bright light overhead, down, never got done. Wife ordered the lamb, they were out. The Escargot came to the table with only 5 in the 6 shells. The tableside Caesar Salad was perfect. I ordered their version of Steak Diane. I ordered the steak mid-rare, and came out medium. The sauce was nothing like typical Diane style, but the flavor was still good. Nice wine list, and good choice of all 3 tawny ports. The smoked wings, artichokes, and potato appetizers were great. I realize it may have been a typically slow night, but if you're going to provide the above experiences, you should just close.
Food was hit and miss, service was outright terrible - the person serving us had clearly not been trained and had no clue what she was doing. Charged for parking even though we were eating int he restaurant and then they lost our car. Outstanding performance.
Always a wonderful experience and amazing food! Service is exceptional too!
Jill's used to be a special favorite for us. However, while food is still first-rate, this was our 3rd visit in a row (within about 5 months) with major service and/or drink issues. Ordered a Manhattan that arrived 20 min later at room temp... sent it back, then 2nd one was very weak, and I felt punished for sending back the original warm drink. SLOW SLOW service, even when we told server we had a concert and had 1 hr 15 min for dinner. Had to stand up and look desperate and flag down another server to get our check. Took 25 min for table side caesar salad to show up, and only after we asked other servers twice (since our server was MIA). The man with mustache who always does the table side service FLATLY ignored us... saw us trying to get his attention and intentionally turned away, ignoring us... TWICE! And some woman server eventually showed up to do the table side service. Glasses of wine arrived while caesar salad was being prepared more than 25 min after we ordered them. No spoons for soup. Took awhile to flag down another server for a soup spoon, while soups cooled. Same with need for ketchup for fries... almost 15 minutes later the ketchup shows up. Server was happy friendly young man, who had no clue about good service. Disappeared for long stretches. Never checked in. And let me be clear, during NONE of these 3 dinners was the dining room crowded... being busy is not an excuse as there were many empty tables... wonder why?? Not likely to return.
