Lettuce limp, pasta dryish not my usual experience. Staff were wonderful
Amazing vegan Butternut Squash Bisque & Green Tofu Curry. Crave-worthy! The only con was the outrageous temperatures of the restaurant. Freezing! We were told it would take hours to warm up he dining room. Our entrees were brought out hot, but cooled far too quickly because of the temps, not good.
Absolutely amazing. Everything from the fried artichokes, chicken wings tableside Caesar ( a must) to the incredible lobster ravioli. All incredible and service to match.
Birthday Celebration , was a wonderful evening. Love the table side preparation of some of the entrees!
We made reservations for lunch on a weekend day. We didn’t know there was going to be a wedding party that the staff would be setting up for in the restaurant and we’d be forced to sit at high top tables at the bar area. When the food came, I was surprised that the toast that came with my food wasn’t better bread? It seemed like cheap quality wonderbread type toast and I know Jill’s offered better bread for their buffets so that was a bit surprising. Additionally, a hostess dragged a chair through our seating area and hit a chair at our table, shaking our table and causing my coffee to spill. We booked lunch at Jill’s because It was a special occasion with a family member from out of State. We would have rather have been told that there would be complete focus on a wedding party that day and booked our lunch for another day. The food was good, the desert was excellent. Our waitress was fantastic, it just wasn’t the same quality atmosphere we come to expect from Jill’s.
Always excellent, with above and beyond service, Jill's is a go-to for special occasions as I am confident that my company will be impressed and pleased.
The vegan brunch at Jill's is a dream for folks who often meet with struggle elsewhere - and find delightful enjoyment in their fine dining experience here.
Thank you, Jill's, for offering this choice.
I was so looking forward to finally getting into Jill's. However, our special occasion (birthday & anniversary) celebrations this past weekend was least favorable.... service was NOT good (spilled water, cocktails, poured wine entirely into the glass, and had to 'ask' for bread), plus when our entrees came out all but one (the burger) was about 10 mins later, and the rest of our meals were then cold!
I love the vegan buffet at Jill's! One suggestion I have is to label all gluten free options for those with Celiac, so that there's no mixed information.
Outstanding food and service! We will definitely come back.
Great happy hour menu. Delicious food!
All in all a great experience. Staff is very disengaged, but appropriate for you to enjoy your dining experience with others. Vegan tasting menu was great! I want to try their vegan buffet on Fridays. Ooo La La!
The brunch main course offerings and the type of Eggs Benedict change from week to week, so you're never bored! This time, the traditional Eggs Benedict were truffled, so they were absolutely superb. The prime rib roast was absolutely exquisite, with an amazing crust on it.
The chevré cheesecake required a second slice!
The food was mediocre. It was nice that the crab legs were split in half but they were cold and some were still frozen. The variety was limited especially with non breakfast food. The prime rib was tasty but nothing else stood out. I definitely won't be going back.
My friend and I lunch at Jill's once a month. We always have the buffet with a glass of wine. The menu varies over the season and the creativity and quality of the offerings are wonderful. We will keep coming and sending friends!
Amazing in almost every way. Food was perfect. Only shots against it are that the restaurant and lobby haven’t been updated in over 10 years.
We were dropping our kids at CU Boulder and this was our final family dinner. I let the waiter know that we had to be done by 7:00 and our food did not show till 7:15 pm. It came out separate not together and the temperature of everyone’s dish appeared to be cold. I had the New York steak and requested it prepared medium rare. The steak was so over cooked they asked to prepare another; however, we had already waited for over an hour for our entries.
We ordered a bottle of Caymus and the waiter filled our glasses like it was drinking water. He poured near a full bottle in 3 glasses. What a joke!!! No training no style.
We will never return and we will tell everyone we know that the St. Julian is beautiful but avoid Jill’s at all cost.
We had the Monday vegan dinner which was amazing.
It was a lovely dinner, but the service was very slow throughout.
The Friday vegan lunch buffett is outstanding! We are not vegan or even vegetarian, but the salads, soups, pizzas, entrees, and desserts are very inventive and delicious. And at $18 including a glass of wine, it can't be beat. It is a nice change of pace.
Always a great Boulder destination for lunch with visiting colleagues.
We had a very nice dinner. The food was excellent. I had the salmon and it was great. The pesto sauce was a little salty but I figured pesto usually is and I was glad it was on the side. Desserts were awesome. overall it was a wonderful experience.
Amazing & delicious! High quality champagne. Omelette’s fresh & yummy add-ins. The food is always excellent. Our daughter had her wedding reception @ The hotel 7 years ago. Primo service , assistance, amazing food and perfect ambiance. Elegant & Boulder chic!
Our waitress Chelsea was fantastic. The food was so good, I ordered the cheese fondue and my husband ordered the pasta with sausage and mushrooms....both so good.
I have depended on Jill's for a reliable business meeting venue for years. There used to be consistently good food and professional service. Yesterday's service was terrible. I was hosting a meeting and our waiter actually asked us "Do you want anything or are you just hanging out?" We had to ask for iced tea and water refills. Also, the music was much louder than I have experienced in the past and it was hard to hear the conversation. The restaurant was empty...looks like Jill's has lost its touch and I am very disappointed. I will not risk bringing a business lunch there again.
Truly beautiful on every level
Food was good but service was poor. Restaurant was Empty on a Saturday night.
The Friday vegan buffet is unique and has a wide variety of selections which are different from Friday to Friday. This past Friday they had a cream of mushroom and leek soup that was fabulous. I haven’t had that soup before. The salads were very good as were the hot entrées and many desserts.
We went on a Friday, and although none of us are vegans, the vegan buffet was outstanding. Our designated driver ordered iced tea, which seemed to create a memory problem for the server, as the dd had to keep asking for the initial glass and refills, but the server had no problem checking on the wine for the rest of the table.
We were celebrating my husbands birthday with some relatives. We have been to Jill's many times when we come an visit Boulder from Los Angeles. The ambiance is beautiful and have always had a great meal. This particular night, no fault of Jill's, they were having a big party and the restaurant was very noisy and we could hardly hear ourselves talk. But once they left if was much better. Three of us had the Bouillabaisse which was very good, would like to have a little more sauce on it, I like it a little soupy. My husband had the Steak Diane which was presented beautifully and was delish!
We have been to Brunch at Jill’s many times with friends. This time was disappointing for all of us. The food was great but the service was lacking. Our server only checked back with us once. If we needed anything we had to go and find someone. The management staff wandered through several times but never looked our way or asked us how everything was. The worst part was our server brought our bill half way through our seating. We like Jill’s and hope they get better help.
Service was terrible. My chicken was over cooked and dry. I would not recommend this restaurant - overpriced, on food and rookie service.
We had a reservation, as always, (we come every month for several years) and we were upset when while we were waiting to be seated another party of 6 was seated. I did mention to the waitress I felt slighted and the manager did come and apologize. This was greatly appreciated!
Always wanted to try this restaurant. The food did not disappoint. Everything we had was great, from escargot and shrimp apps, to salmon, New York strip and lobster ravioli were all on point. How ever the down side was the ambiance which was nothing special, granted it was not busy at all. The service was some of the worst we have had. Our server had two tables a food runner and busser, yet we had to ask to order ask for bread more water. She was very disingenuous, that might have been because they were slow, but the service was not on par.
In saying all this the food will probably bring us back and we hope for better service.
Most amazing vegan dining experience I have ever had!
The Vegan special was outstanding.
The service was extraordinary and staff went out of their way to help make our dining experience so wonderful.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the tab as reasonable and fair, given the restaurant’s upscale venue and menu.
It was great!
A great overall experience. Good food, good service in a lovely space. Nothing wrong here.
Excellent restuarant. Visually very interesting. Food was well prepared and tasty. Plenty of vegan options. Service was friendly and efficient. Had a great evening
