I had the Calamari and it’s was excellent; crispy with a fabulous dipping sauce! The ginger salad I highly recommend and the lettuce wraps were great too! I will say portions are large enough to share! If your in town, try this restaurant for Asian
Cuisine. The restaurant also has a great ambience; I ate all alone and did not mind because it was dimly lit and tables were well spaced.
I was there with a girlfriend for a girls’ night out pre-concert dinner. The food was good but way overpriced for the small portions. Our waiter was outstanding, checking on us frequently, very polite, offered appetizer suggestions when we asked. By the same token there was a woman, I guess she was a busser, who was hovering around our table every time we looked up. It was unnerving because not only was she always around but she came right up to the table and just stood there staring at our plates multiple times. It was entirely too noisy, with staff dropping and breaking plates not once but twice while we were there. It was also so dark I had to use my cell phone to see the menu.
I might go back, but I would think hard about it, mostly because it’s overpriced and the portions are small. The ambience would probably be nice for a date if you could get rid of the weird hovering woman, the staff could hold on to the plates, and you aren’t all that hungry.
Pre concert dinner. Food is always great. Very good selection of drinks. They make great martinis.
We ordered the steak this time and it was Fabulous. Jennifer was very informative with the menu questions and attentive to our requests. We highly recommend the Jia for any occasion and you won't regret whatever your menu selection is.
Great snack after the concert ,awesome service
Our "reservation" saw us waiting with people who walked up getting seated before we did. Service was good. Curry noodles had no curry sauce on them. Pho was okay, but a little too sweet. A little overpriced for what it was. Not horrible, but won't go again.
The food was ok. Not great, not terrible. Our server was very nice, attentive, and personal. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the prices.
We love the food and the servers are great!!!! We always enjoy dining there.
Very nice place. Excellent service
Just sit at the sushi bar and let them serve you. The main restaurant was either understaffed or under managed. Food served was not timely, it was cold. Have been here before and it was great, maybe just an off night.
Everything was very good, food, service, atmosphere and value.
ON AUGUST 10TH 2018 MY FRIENDS AND I HAD DINNER AT JIA. I HAVE BEEN AT JIA AT LEAST 30 TIMES OVER THE PAST 8 YEARS. MY FRIENDS MEALS WERE GOOD TO VERY GOOD. MINE WAS TERRIBLE. I ORDERED THE ORANGE CHICKEN DISH. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. IT LOOKED LIKE SOMETHING FROM A FOOD COURT. THE CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI WAS ONE SOGGY MESS AND THE CHICKEN WAS CUBED AND NOT CRISPY PIECES. I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO REORDER BECAUSE WE WERE IN A HURRY BECAUSE WE HAD TICKETS TO A CONCERT. I TALKED TO THE MANAGER AND ALL HE DID WAS MAKE THE EXCUSE THAT THE DISH ALWAYS COME OUT SOGGY. (WHY SELL A DISH THAT SUCKS, TAKE IT OFF THE MENU OR FIX IT.) HE DID NOT TAKE IT OFF THE BILL. THIS WAS THE WORST MEAL I HAD AT JIA. THE HOST TOLD ME THEY HAVE A NEW CHEF. I DON'T THINK I WILL GO BACK TO JIA.
Love Jia. When I come back home, I make it a frequent stop spot. Especially with the addition of the Sports Book, this is going to be an easy home run. Wish y’all just could revamp the sushi rolls with more ALL RAW options! Nigiri is cool but let’s get some more creative juices, not everything has to be baked or tempura fried! But, love love Jia!
The waiter was AMAZING!!!
The food was not good - fair at best. Service slow. Water glasses were not refilled. Never asked if we wanted more wine. Waiter was slow to check back with us.
Great place and always consistent. We eat there every time we come to Biloxi.
Sushi was the best I’ve ever had!
Our waiter Cang was great and very accommodating so as the other staffs especially Scott. We will be back as always!
Food was quite good in a nice atmosphere. Appetizers are worthwhile, and the main courses were very good.
best upscale Asian resturant on the MS coast. Not only sushi, but a variety of pan-asian dishes. We had great sushi, Singapore noodles and the whole crispy red snapper. Intersting sake choices and japanese beer. Service was excellent.
Food not up to par this visit.
Salt and Pepper lobster not cooked all the way and the rice was mushy
Outstanding service, Sushi tool delicious and both meals exceeded out expectations. Try the chocolate lava cake!
The service was great and very friendly servers. Really enjoyed our dinner as usual.
we will be back soon. Enjoyed running into an old friend "Kang".
Excellent table, service and food experience. Had the lobster special and was delighted!
Food was not as good as last dining experience there.
Table wasn’t ready at the time of reservation. Food wasn’t prepared as ordered.
Mother’s Day dinner
the restaurant is directly on the casino floor in Beau Rivage in Biloxi ,MS,so it is a bit noisy; the upside is you can watch people if you want to; the dining experience is quite good and worth the $;nice bar for cozy chatting; good wine list; we will return there.
I love the food and ambience at Jia. I've had the hibachi once and it was very good and I've ordered off the dining room menu 4 times now and have never been disappointed. My go to is the pad thai because it's fresh and filling and I always have leftovers. Recently I tried something new; the avocado shrimp salad, and it was amazing! Highly recommend!
This was the third time I have eaten here. As usual the service was wonderful. Everyone was personable and very attentive. I love both the hibachi grill and the dining room seating. I have eaten sushi, steak, soups, dumplings, lettuce wraps, and more. Everything is always amazing and I will be back soon!
Service and Food was great! Scotty was a terrific waiter.
Excellent food preparation on entrees and appetizers Cindy provided exceptional service
We have visited twice and both times have been exceptional!
We are regulars at Jia. We enjoyed
Scotty continues to be an asset to Jia. His attention to detail has made every special occasion or any dining experience there a memorable one. Jia is our top spot in the area for dining.
Each time I visit Biloxi I eat at Jia at least once and most times 2 times a week. The restaurant is impeccably clean, the service is the best and the food is terrific. I have eaten sushi many times and always find it fresh and very tasty. I also have eaten the Kung Pao lobster, which is my favorite dish, and many times order the Kung Pao Chicken on my next visit. The Kung Pao Chicken is not on the menu, but will be prepared just like the lobster dish for about 1/2 the price. I recommend Jia very, very much for a great meal.
We try to eat here at least once a month. Fabulous food and great service. All th e people are so friendly. Outstanding egg drop soup and fire cracker shrimp.
We enjoyed the food and service. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the music. It was too loud and an awful choice. This setting would be better with classical or Asian, but not the obnoxious Rock music that was playing.
Our dining experience was fabulous. Our drinks were cold and plentiful. The food was tasty, well prepared and in ample supply. The service was outstanding. My boss declared the meal and fellowship were the hit of his weekend trip. We will be back. Our only problem was with the “Open Table” reservation site. It did not clearly state there were two dining options. Traditional and teppanyaki. We wanted teppanyaki but were assigned traditional instead. The staff at JIA easily accommodated us with very little wait. Thanks JIA. See you soon.
