Jia - Beau Rivage
Good food. Great service tonight. Eat here regularly.
Took too long to get food. When I got the steak it was cold. Waiters and servers was snarky and impolite. Would not recommend
Excellent service. Excellent food. Ambiance was perfect and the drinks were on point! Thank you.
Very good Egg Roll appetizer large enough to share and already served with the rolls cut in half. Delicious Scallop and Grilled Salmon entrees. All of their food is slightly on the hot spicy side (Cayenne Red Pepper) so I would recommend ordering with less spice. Reasonable wine list. Excellent service.
A convenient place to dine in a casino.
Don't miss this dinning experience!
Great food and service. Way too expensive for the portions received but, it was yummy!
Our waiter was outstanding and very friendly. We enjoyed a wedding reception with our parents and couldn't have been more pleased!
Menu items needed too much explanation. Tempura was very bland. Menu did offer a variety of foods patrons can enjoy. Wine list sufficient.
I always love going to Jia when in town, I love their chicken francese. I wish the tables were a little farther apart. There was a large group next to us with numerous children (at 10pm) and the children were crying which I understand however did not make it a comfortable dinner for us. I have always been fortunate and sat next to lovely people but this was a bit too much.
I went to Jia for the first time with 2 friends and we went to the Hibachi. I have very serious allergies to shell fish and all other fish. I wanted to make sure that none of my good would come in contact with any kind of seafood. I spoke to our waiter who conveyed it to the Chef. They decided to get consensus with all people at the table to cook the rice first, then vegetables, then chicken and beef and hold all seafood for last. As I was having beef it was the perfect answer. The entire table agreed to cooking this way and the meal was excellent. My friends had the shrimp and loved every bite. I would definitely go back. Nick was our Hibachi Chef and was absolutely amazing. Very personable guy. We all loved him.
Made a reservation. Wanted to enjoy hibachi dining room. Was told on arrival that needs to be requested at time reservation is made. Diners making reservations should be advised of this policy. Food & service were great!
Our first time here, had the scallop/jalapeno causa as an appetizer (it should be billed as such because it is too small as an entrée), it was interesting but average in flavor, mostly tasted only the jalapeno. Hubs had glazed salmon and I had the ginger prawns. Salmon entrée was good per hubs, but noticeably shy on what accompanied the salmon. My ginger prawns on the other hand had ample veges with the prawns, and there were ample prawns, just a tad on the bland side for what I was expecting from GINGER. Warm sake was very good and service was very good, even tho our waiter appeared new.
Very good food, excellent service, the best Asian Restaurant on the coast
Wonderful dining, outstanding service, fantastic food, thank you!
Very disappointed that the spring rolls were taken off the menu.
While Jia was good, I really hope they will bring back some of the menu items that were removed with the latest menu change. The doughnuts were one of my family's favorite desserts anywhere.
We love Jai's...but...my wife and I both ordered the shrimp kung poa, but they did something with the sauce which made it incredibly salty. We were hungry and didn't want to miss the 7 o'clock show, so we struggled through the meal. I ate mine, but my wife gave up. We informed our waiter Scotty, who said he informed the chef, but no other consideration was given to remedying our complaint.
Wonderful staff and service! Food was outstanding! Thank you!
Katie was our server and was super. Knew the menu, and gave great counsel. Jeff assisted and was very attentive. Menu has changed dramatically- no duck, which along with butterfish was the best item on the menu. While fried fish is no longer whole fried fish - it’s a fried carcass rolled around fried fish nuggets. The fish has a hint of curry which is absolutely not Chinese. Spicy beef was tasty but curry was overwhelming. So if you like curry Asian fusion, it’s great. If you don’t like curry, it isn’t for you. Sadly, the menu is definitely not real Asian food any longer.
The sushi, on the other hand, is still fantastic.
So JIA is for sushi lovers and those with a spicy palate.
Dragon berry cocktail was outstanding. Lemon drop cocktail, not the real deal. It was vodka with lemon juice vs a real lemon drop.
Service and ambience were outstanding.
Unfortunately our experience at Jia on this occasion was not up to standard. We we seated 25 minutes after our reservation time. Once seated it took a further ten minutes or more before we were acknowledged and we had to mention this to a staff member after the couple seated after us, at the next table, were served.
It seemed that they were very understaffed. Our order was taken down incorrectly, main course took forever and then we were given the bill without being asked if we wished for any dessert or more drinks. I don’t think that it was noticed that this was a birthday celebration at all.
We were compensated for the very late seating.
The whole evening was far below Jia’s usual high standard.
This is the second time we have eaten there since they changed the menu. Both have been disappointing. Why mess with something that wasn't broken? :(
New menu. Best egg drop soup. Not on menu but you can get it.
Great spot! Food, staff and service were great! Thank you!
Value for portions of food received was very low. Could not substitute the Jasmine rice for another rice, even when offered to pay extra
Very good quality food. We had the shrimp, chicken, and scallops. Other Japanese steak houses include appetizers. Value was adequate.
We enjoy eating at the Jia every time we stay at the Beau Rivage. Very friendly staff and great food.
The food was delicious. We had a lobster roll as our appetizer and it would very good. For entrees we had the Ginger Prawns and Shrimp Tempura. The tempura was light and crispy, not greasy. Both entrees were very good. We split the Coconut Pot de Creme for desert and it was creamy and delicious.
While the food we ordered was all very good, we were disappointed with some of the menu changes. The doughnuts with the 3 sauces was one of our favorite dishes and is now gone, as are the gyoza and pu pu platter. We are fairly regular Jia diners and would love to see those items return to the menu. The new lamb dish was very good!
Fantastic as always!
Great!! A super place would recommend it !!
Have been to Jia a few times before and was not impressed with the food this time. Sorry
They decided to change the chef which was a huge mistake, as the men was changed and even those dishes that came from the old menu taste ver6 different. Awful mistake and we are not going there anymore.
Everything was Wonderful!
Authentic inspired Asian food. Service was outstanding.
We were very disappointed in the menu changes. They took off crab fried rice (which is why we went there), wontons, & no egg rolls... also took off sweet & sour shrimp or chicken, no sweet & sour anything!
Prolly won’t go back unless menu changes, very disappointed!!!!
We have been loyal customers several times a year. But we don’t like the
new menu. Best fish was the duck, which is no longer offered. Then they jacked up the price of the King Pao lobster dish from approx $35 to $75. And the Mongolian
ribeye is over price. And the Butterfish smelled fishy.
