I don't get out of the office much however when I do get a chance to meet with a business colleague or client it is always a pleasant experience when dining at JG Domestic. I actually work in the Cira Centre therefore, I find it to be an extremely convenient location to host a business meeting, Happy Hour or and evening out to dinner with a friend. They have a great menu selection with some unique but super tasty choices. They have a nice selection of alcoholic beverages to choose from such as well as coffee/cappuccino, smoothies {when you are wanting something a little healthier} and the normal non-alcoholic beverages. The service is always wonderful! The food is always served fresh and at a good temperature. This restaurant has a nice vibe to it and most importantly it is in a great location when commuting home by train!!!

We ordered 2 different apps. Hummus and flatbread. Both were equally delicious. The hummus had edamame in it and topped with a very light and fluffy cheese. The flatbreads were simple, not greasy and wonderfully flavored. I had a butternut squash soup with quinoa...really good. Everyone enjoyed their salads and sandwiches!! We also ordered duck fat fries which were fantastically flavored! I'd go back in a minute!!

The daily crab cake special arrived burned. The crab cake was actually black with the black side facing up. The burned surface could not be disputed. When we pointed it out to our server, he just looked at us and then after a few seconds said, "Why don't you taste it and let me know after you taste it." Since some of the members of our party were on their lunch hour, we did not have time for a replacement. The server did not offer to have us speak to the manager, or even to bring something that did not require cooking.
I have never experienced anything as disappointing as this - both in the quality of the food, or the lack of responsiveness from the staff.

We enjoyed the "special" lunch. Price is a bit higher than we'd wish, but the manager kindly removed a $3 charge for a bit of cheddar on a burger. Cora Center lobby is a good spot to wait for a dining companion due in on a train, but not in a good walkable area.

Good location when you are traveling and the food and beer are always good. Unfortunately every time I go the service is disappointing

This is a solid place for a business lunch or lunch for pleasure. The menu is limited but everything is good. The only "negative" - which could be perceived by some as a positive is the location in an open area of the Cira Centre. At times the volume / background can be a little noisy.

My husband and I loved the food here - especially the eggplant hummus we ordered as an appetizer. He enjoyed the JG Domestic burger with the duck fat fries and I had the zucchini sandwhcih - both were delicious. We also really enjoyed the blended juices on the menu. We had a relaxed lunch and were grateful for a kind and helpful server. We will definitely be returning!

The Shrimp and Grits isn't a bad choice. It's just irritating to have to behead it and remove the tail before I can eat. Isn't that what food prep us for? And its only 3 shrimp, so really we discard more than we can eat.

The service was awful. We sat for close to 10 minutes before Melissa wandered over to see if we wanted drinks. She took our order then disappeared until we'd been waiting another 10 minutes to have the plates removed. The floor manager had stopped by, so maybe Melissa figured that was enough.

The only reason we went was for convenience. Next time, I'll inconvenience myself and go somewhere else.

I chose JG Domestic because it was a convenient place to meet my mom between a Bolt Bus ride and a SEPTA train ride, but it has gone way downhill since I ate there a year ago. My pork sandwich was a pale imitation or one you could get a Dinicks or Tony Lukes. The turkey on my mom's salad was too smokey and dry around the edges as if it had been cut way earlier. The hosts, Sierra was awesome, but our waitress was sour and curt. If Jose Garces wants to keep making money in Philly, he better come back from Arizona and wright the ship.

I made reservations for lunch last Thursday. We were seated right away, but had to wait a while for our server. Once he came, he took our drink orders which came right out. We then ordered because we knew going in what we wanted (Thursday's special). The food was delicious, but it took forever and I had to run back to my office for my 2:00 meeting. (we arrived at 12:30).

JG Domestic is a convenient spot for the business lunch crowd due to its location in the Cira Centre lobby. Usually loud and fairly crowded. Food is decent, but not what I would associate with Jose Garces and the Iron Chef crowd. Quality of preparation is a bit inconsistent, especially for this price point.
