Excellent food, excellent service! Wait staff was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.
Awesome ambiance and even greater food. This location never fails me for a great meal.
Jewel never disappoints. The food was great the service was friendly and attentive. Nelson (gm) assures all runs smoothly and everyone is happy.
We want to Commend Tom Schaudel for offering a Rosh Hashanah dinner. This was first time our family dined out on the Jewish New Year (and I'm married 40 years). It was a delightful experience for all.
Tried the Sunday Prix Fix menu. The food was underwhelming. Beautiful location and ambience, service was very good, but the food was nothing worth returning for, and the prices on the regular menu didn’t meet the cost. The lobster bisque was mediocre, the meatballs were bland, although the sauce was flavorful, the braised short ribs were dry and totally unimpressive, the flourless Chocolate cake was tasty, the best part of the meal. We each had the white sangria, again, it was average, and I prefer my sangria a little sweeter than theirs. I was hoping this restaurant would be a find for my wife and I, but unfortunately, it’s not someplace I would return to or recommend in good conscience
This place is really large and loud; that being said - the setting / room is attractive and our food was very good. I was not fond of the white wine selections; there were better options by the glass for red. Service was slow & erratic. There is a young, active bar scene - if you are seated far away from the bar, it will not be too loud for conversation. Also, there seemed to be several private rooms.
We tend to enjoy more intimate venues - less of a scene - this is why I would not recommend to a friend; however, 20-somethings may love it.
Fantastic food and friendly staff! Great place. Will definitely return.
Amazing food and ambiance! Staff is so friendly and accommodating!
Delicious! I ordered from the price fixed lunch menu For24 dollars it can’t be beat My husband ordered from regular menu
The aps and drinks are always good. I had the branzino (fish) and it was disappointing. The whole dish had no flavor. Dessert was good.
Great food and varied menu with something for everyone. The space is striking and immaculately maintained. Terrific service. I would definitely recommend it.
Wonderful! One of the best kitchens on Long Island, the Japanese seaweed and soba noodles were wonderful. Great environment for a business meeting and our waitress was incredibly attentive information filled and complemented the entire experience perfectly. Left a 45% tip and worth every penny. Highly recommend
Outstanding as usual. Food service Nelson was great
we have wanted to get to this restaurant for some time & very glad we finally made it.
will return soon!!
Fantastic find! So glad we went
Food is amazing.
Live Music on the patio and Lobster Fest! Had a great evening with friends, never felt rushed even though we stayed long past finishing our coffee and desert. Service was outstanding and the food great as always. The flourless chocolate cake was to die for. Definitely a favorite with our group.
This is a "happening" place -- if you like bar scenes and lots of energy when you are out with a group of friends, it's a good choice. We happened to be looking for something more intimate -- which this is definitely not. Although I had mentioned ahead that we wanted a quiet table, we were seated plop in the middle and others were subsequently seated right next to us -- even though the restaurant was very empty (a Wednesday night, early). Service was friendly but the waitress brought our check while we were just beginning our dessert - again, even though a really empty restaurant. "Not a rush" but still, not a good thing to do to a couple. My husband was a bit annoyed at that. Food very good. So - I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic anniversary dinner, since it's pricey but very noisy, but if that's your thing, it won't disappoint you.
Went with friends, had good food, good service, and they didn't rush us out when we were done, but sitting there gabbing but it was FREEZING inside, they needed to turn down the A/C.
Great Sunday night dinner special menu . Also great deal on bottle of wine. Food was delicious
This is one of the many Long Island restaurants with pretensions to fine dining. Neither the food nor the service comes close.
Jewel really is a jewel. The food is consistently excellent and the service matches the food. I go there knowing that it will always be an outstanding dining experience.
Jewel is always fantastic!
We have dined here many times and it’s always wonderful .
Soup was only warm. Waitress disappeared for minutes on end. Bread basket was tossed onto the table. High prices with low caliber services
Love this place, Great food, great service cool vibe. Excellent for business and pleasure.
Always a pleasure and outdoor dining is just that much better.
My second Time dinning and having the best cocktails.
Staff are very attentive and professional. The details on the food and presentation!!
From appetizer to desert it was outstanding, we enjoyed the night
I use to love coming to this place. It was one of my favorite places but l dont no if there is a new chef but the food was absolutely horrible. There was no taste and it was quite disgusting. My husband did not care for his food either and he usually loves the food here. I can not say this was the first time we came here a few months ago and the food was questionable then but l thought maybe it was just an off night. However my recent experience confirmed that l was wrong. Unfortunet to say we will not be dining at Jewel again. I no longer recommend this place.
Everything was good. Prices were high for not being wow’d. Not disappointed by any stretch just nothing that stood out...other than the men’s room paparazzi ..that is worth a visit.
Good food, great ambiance, while there discovered during the summer they have wonderful musical acts on Fridays so we will be coming back.
Food was great. I had filet mignon and my husband had the price fixe dinner. The shrimp and veal meatball appetizer was different and so delicious. The marinated skirt steak that he had was was cooked perfectly and was tender. I usually find it can be chewy. So a nice surprise. And the mango cheesecake was an excellent ending to the dinner. Nice ambiance as well.
Enjoyed the food quite a bit. They have some great selections. We had a few questions about the menu and the server actually seemed upset she had to answer. One in our party asked if they had one of their salads as a main course and the answer was “that’s the menu”. Too bad, otherwise a good place.
The food quality on the $24 pre-fix menu is poor.
Never a let down. Good excellent and service as well. Very quiet that night but ok. Nice easy evening with family
Everything was amazing
Don’t order a Long Island iced tea. Beyond that food was pretty good but nothing amazing. Waitress was great.
Excellent change from the same old boring steakhouses
. There is something for everyone and excellent choices of craft beer
Wonderful. Very good meal. Everything was fresh and had a little unique flair
Lobster Friday on the terrace can’t be beat.
Food was fantastic but the service was very slow and it wasn’t crowded at all. The waitress kept saying they were so busy but almost every table was empty.
Very pretty place. I would go again
