   Service excellent, food very good. Paid £22 for 3 courses, which is excellent value, but wine very expensive which bumps price up immediately. Location is superb and it's all very calm, inside and out. Would definitely go again.

   Went for the house menu, which is reasonably priced and excellent quality. Pre-dinner drinks outside in the pretty garden on a summer's evening to be recommended.

   We went on Saturday 11 August having visited a few times in the past this is a firm favourite for our special occasions. We were waited on by a fantastic waitress, Laura who was fantastic. Lovely restaurant, amazing food.

   Briliant resturant which I have been to several times and never get bored of the delicious food. Despite being a bit late for our table and having two weddings to cater for at the time, food was excellent and server promptly, staff were lovely and very helpful, and whole meal was incredible value for money! Booking up again soon!

   We really enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. The overall quality of food and service was outstanding.

   The doors open onto the beautiful garden and for that alone this place is worth a visit, the food is excellent and the service friendly, we can also recommend the house red (at £18 the cheapest on the menu but still very good)

   We were seated in the conservatory area for our meal and I thought the atmosphere was really nice, very relaxed, looking out to see the trees. The restaurant itself was also a lovely place to dine. I thought the food was excellent, I had the pork and then Chocolate Souffle which were both delicious. The service was also excellent and our waiter was very attentive. I would definitely recommend Jesmond Dene House, more so for a special occassion, because it is more expensive than a general restaurant there is that special feel to it. I would definitely love to dine at Jesmond Dene again as I thoroughly enjoyed the food and whole experience and my friend and I had a lovely evening there.

    first visit to this restaurant, not sure why, as very impressed with the building itself, like a small castle! we tried the "tasting menu", six set courses of good size, just right. Give it a whirl, the chocolate "sphere" desert was amazing.
