Best of everything!!! Gary- the bartender was awesome! Food was amazing!!!
Another family birthday celebration at Jensen's and the food was wonderful, as usual.
We had Kurt as a server and he was wonderful as always. Helped make our daughter's birthday a treat.
Food is good, especially if you aren't looking for anything terribly 'gourmet'. Well prepared, basic food. Not a huge menu, but good steak and walleye. I just think it's a little overpriced for the type of food offered. I would go back, but only for specials or with a coupon
We are repeat customers and are never disappointed. Try different food items each time and always leave satisfied. Waitresses always so friendly and polite. Was surprised when our waitress this time remembered us from our last visit about 6 weeks ago.
We came to Jensen's to celebrate my 60th birthday and everything was excellent! We don't live near by so generally only get there for special occasions but every time we come we have a fantastic meal and exceptional service. Definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone wanting a wonderful evening out!
Great beef menu; great garlic mash potatoes; quiet; great service; we drive 26 miles to eat there despite having a restaurant of same type within 1 mile of our house
I was very disappointed with my dinner. The steak wasn't as good as everybody says it is.
Valentine's menu restrictive/expensive. pork tough and overcooked. tartar sauce had onions in it, bad for delicate fish. very limited gluten free options. just a bar with bar food in a restaurant setting. our third and last time trying out this restaurant. never going back.
It's been a while since I could say this but I've paid less to fill my gas tank than I did for my own plate. The food here is well made and thoughtful but so very expensive. I could recommend any of the dishes on the menu but I recommend taking out a second mortgage before doing so.
Wonderful prime rib and parmesan-encrusted walleye, not to mention the delectable popovers and delicious creme cheese cake.
We enjoyed our nite! Food was great and the ambiance too. Our server was not good. We had to go find her finally. She just was not attentive at all. However I would return for the food and the ambiance and a different server.
Excellent service, excellent food at reasonable price.
Fantastic meal, great filet!
As a long time customer I have always enjoyed the experience. The one thing I miss is the veggie tray. The prices aren't any lower and it was the one thing that you didn't add on the bill. Food and service was excellant
We enjoyed dinner with our friends. The only downside was that they had two fish-based soups and a French onion. A different soup option would have been nice.
We enjoy Jensens and their food. What we DONT enjoy at all is getting stuck in their back room. It feels like your in a banquet room and it was cold. We've been seated in this section a few times and we will no longer let them seat us there. If they don't have another table we will leave and go some place else.
Every thing and everyone was wonderful; but that's no surprise. We had expressed our need to leave for another engagement by a certain time and that request was honored -- we do appreciate that so much. Thank you.
Same fine service as always. Great entrees. Good side dishes.
Clients are always impressed
My husband and I really enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance. We had a reservation, were seated promptly, and had a friendly server. The food was well cooked and seasoned. I prefer dark greens in my salads, but otherwise great!
The service was very good and server was always attentive. The food was prepared exactly as we had ordered.
I always enjoy Jensen's. The early bird menu is especially good but you really have to go early.
It is a gem in Eagan and quite close to the Twin Cities Outlet stores.
The walleye is very good.
Jensen's is extremely expensive and the quality of the food is not very good. The steak was adequate, caesar salad was awful, au gratin potatoes were good and the popovers are good. Overall it was not worth half the price we paid. The service was very slow due to the food not being ready. Won't be visiting again anytime soon!
It was an impromptu anniversary evening and Jensen's was a great choice.
last minute decision to get together with friends for dinner, never disappoints, great dinner
Great meal for a triple birthday dinner. As usual I over-ordered. Always remember to save room for the delicious popovers and endless salad! Everything tasted great (including my cocktail).
Been to Jensen's multiple times over the years and have always enjoyed the visit. The food quality has remained consistent with some of the best entree's around. However success here has not been without impact as prices continue to rise and portions continue to get smaller here. Case in point the Parmesan Walleye is the best in town, but went a couple years back from two fillet's to one. Side dishes are all now served in presentations are 2/3rd's the size of the original. Cocktails however remain consistent with some of the best bartenders around. Servers here are all very knowledgeable.
My wife ordered a prime cut of beef and she asked for a hot pink center. Her meat arrived and looked great but was barely warm.
I had the prime rib and although it looked good, it was rubbery. The mushrooms, salads, baked potato, drinks, everything else was as you'd expect. Patty was our server and she did a very good job....I love the comfort of the place but its rather expensive for what you receive. I'll be back, just won't rush to get there.
We have gone to Jensen's many times over the years and have always enjoyed the ambiance, food and service. It seems like lately, however, the food isn't as good as it used to be. The service has always been excellent.
Jensen's is our favorite supper club in the Twin Cities! You won't find a better fillet and where else do you get a delicious popover served with your meal?!?
Updated decor --great service & food. Walleye is outstanding
Updated, yet old supper club feel. Top notch service, friendly atmosphere. Menu has something for everyone. Martini's were excellent.
Great restaurant, great staff and a very pleasant atmosphere go a long way. They offer great american foods minus the special sauces and avocado slices that all other restaurants seem to be pushing at this time. Thanks for keeping up a great tradition in the selections you offer!!!
Very small Brunch menu, about 5 or 6 dishes. My Crab Cake Benedict was luke warm and lacked spices. I will stick with the Dinner menu when I return, which I'm always happy with.
Classic old school spot in Eagan. A quite and romantic place. We have basically ordered everything on the menu at this point and have yet to walk away disappointed. The popovers with sweet butter are to die for! We also had the creme brulee and ate every bite. Martini menu offers a wide variety to choose from. The Razzatini and the JB Tini are my two favorites.
If you're in the South metro, this is a great place to try out and bonus - the new outlet mall is just across the street!
Good food, consistent quality, friendly atmosphere, clean, easy to find. Good value.
My husband and I had a great meal at Jensen's on New Years Eve! Starting with a Jensen's Cosmo, then delicious Parmesan Walleye, asparagus and popovers. Then the awesome cheesecake to top it all off! Always our favorite place to go!
There were numerous flubs and fluffs throughout the night. Ranging from a poor selection for steak as well as screwed up beverage orders. To their credit, the management made it right.
Jensen's had been a tradition for New Years Eve but we might be looking elsewhere for next year.
Crowded, noisey (both expected) but service was below par, our seating of six was crowed into table for four. Food service was hurried and delivered before first cocktail was finished. Food, for the most part up to Jensen's standards but my ribs were undercooked, tough and flavorless. Overall a place to avoid for New Years Eve.
