Jeffrey's Steakhouse
We had a few meals both lunch and dinner in Moab. Jeffrey's was by far the best. The service from the moment we arrived at this small "gem" was second to none and the food was delicious. If we are ever back in Moab this will be a must!
I made an error on my reservation and despite the fact that it was a very busy night, the hostess was very gracious in accomodating me. Wonderful food/wine, great atmosphere, best French 75 ever! I make a point to dine here every visit to Moab.
We just finished backpacking for 4 days and were looking forward to a steak. It was also my birthday so we wanted it to be special. Indeed it was. The service was 5 star which always can make or break a dining experience. The steaks were melt in your mouth tender. Everything was delicious including the escargot appetizer. My 13 year old daughter wanted to eat all of them!
Jeffrey's excels on every level for a wonderful dining experience. Very cozy and you are never rushed. You are always given the royal treatment even if you are there for just drinks and dessert. First class.
FOod and service was terrific. Helps to make a reservation
We came here to celebrate our anniversary, however we were on day 24 of the Whole 30. Not ideal. Our server was awesome, though, and made sure our meal was as perfect as it could be. The steak was incredible, and perfectly prepared. We have walked by Jeffery’s several times, and were glad to have a chance to visit. We’ll be back!
We went here twice. First night we had steaks that were excellent. Second time we had chicken Marsala and chicken piccata. The chicken Marsala was pretty good but the chicken piccata was terrible. Chop salad was one of the best I have had. Drinks are good. Bread pudding was very good. Overall I recommend this place and would go back but stick to steaks for entree
My husband loved his steak! My salmon piccata was just okay. The service was only okay. Not their fault but it was very cold every time someone opened the door. Maybe a separate enclosed entry would help. Some people just stood there with the door open. I had mentioned we were celebrating a birthday but the staff made no mention of it. Enjoyed the bar upstairs. Cute place.
Very tired and old place. Needs upgrading, especially lighting.
Decent wine list and good cocktails. Great steaks done perfectly. Accompaniments (potatoes, veggies, salad, appetizers) well prepared. Overall a great meal and a very nice dining experience. We have been to Jeffrey's several times on various visits to Moab, and have always found the food to be consistently very good. The restaurant occupies an old stone building, with dining areas that are relatively small and tables that are a little close. While the atmosphere is not exactly intimate, it is definitely cozy, and the staff is great. We will be back and would certainly recommend this place for a meal that is certainly a cut above most of the restaurant fare in Moab.
The service was very good. Jacob was personable and friendly and took care of us very nicely. The appetizers and meals were served quickly and tasted great. The restaurant has a very comfortable feel to it.
Snake river rib eye. Really perfect. Fun friendly staff and patrons
In an original brown stone farm house on a quiet street
This was a wonderful experience. We had a special time from beginning to end.
Amazing! Food was delicious and they catered to my onion allergy.
We had been on a road trip through the southwest for three weeks when we stopped in Moab for our last night before returning home to Colorado. My wife booked a table at Jeffry’s on Opentable. Wow!! Food was the best we had had on our trip. The server Pam was amazing. She described all the preparations perfectly and suggested how much of the side dishes we would need. We didn’t overeat but left extremely satisfied. Great steak, I had the 12oz ribeye and my wife had the 6oz filet. Both were incredible! Loaded baked potato to die for and the crispest freshest side salad with home made blue cheese dressing - delicious!
Had a wonderful evening at Jeffrey’s. Great drinks, salad & steaks. Sally was a wonderful server. Small place but very cozy.
We had New Year's dinner here, and it was as good a dining experience as you would have in any famous big city hot spot. It is expensive by local Moab standard, but reasonable compared to an urban gourmet restaurant. The restaurant is located in a converted old sandstone house and apparently family operated. Ambiance, decor, cocktails, food, dessert and service were all absolutely first rate. Be sure to spend some time in the cozy upstairs lounge and enjoy a "New Old Fashioned" or your favorite drink. The restaurant's decor is unpretentious, tastefully elegant and sound levels are quiet. Steaks are Wagyu and at least as good as you will get in any top end steak house. Order a bigger cut than you think would normally eat, because you will wish you had more. Also, the thin onion rings are unmatched.
This gem is a MUST if you are ever in the Moab area. Be sure to make reservations well in advance since it is a small place, especially in winter when the patio is not available.
food and service were excellent as usual. the bone on pork chop was fantastic. nicely prepared and perfectly cooked. have ordered the lamb chops in the past and those are very good. wife had the petite fillet, also nicely prepared. the calamari is really nice as was the warmed olives & almonds. we always visit Jeffrey's when in Moab and it's consistently excellent.
Delicious!
If you want. great steak, and you're in Moab in the off season, you simply can't do better than Jeffrey's! Too much dressing on the Caesar was my only complaint...service, the steak itself (ribeye) baked potato, creamed spinach all were top notch! Expect to pay 5 star prices...but you will get a wonderful steak dinner served proudly!
We picked this restaurant while we were in Moab for a few days on vacation as it was listed as a AAA selection. We were delighted that we decided to go there as it was one of the best meals we have ever had at any restaurant. The service was outstanding, but the food itself was the star. Every course was top-notch, from beginning appetizer to the end of the meal. We were so surprised at the high quality of the ingredients and how they were prepared. Definitely worth a trip!
We were driving from AZ to CO, spending the night in Moab. We had a lovely delicious meal at Jeffrey's. We have eaten there before on similar trips. We have recommended Jeffrey's to friends and some have had the opportunity to dine there. Our steaks were appropriately cooked, the baked potato perfect. The salad does not have to be so copious. The bread pudding was divine.
The Ghost Bar is a quaint and cozy place to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail. The zucchini appetizer was irresistible. My wife had the filet while I had the chicken piccata. They were both exceptional and Lauren's bread pudding was the perfect end to our 41st anniversary dinner. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Moab.
Sublime meal
Good service
Desert was delicious
Cozy atmosphere
They have THE BEST steaks I've ever eaten! The service was outstanding. We always eat here when we travel to Moab!!!
Small intimate restaurant that has very well trained staff.Accomodation was made by Chef for gluten free option. Enjoyable dining.
Excellent steak house in Moab. Great service and steak. Small, quiet atmosphere. Some unique preparations of standard dishes made the meal more memorable.
All was perfect the service was very good the food was delicious.
It’s a very good restaurant maybe one of the best in my life.
We were visiting Moab for the first time and everything about our dinner at Jeffrey's exceeded our expectations - from the way we were greeted by the hostess, to the quaint outdoor dining, to our knowledgeable and engaging waiter, Chester, to our excellent meal. Hope to be back.
Superb. Good enough that we made certain to return for our last night in Moab. Best center cut filet- juicy, tasty and cooked to a turn. Convenient walk from motel. Do yourself a favor and have a lovely meal at Jeffrey’s Steakhouse.
Wanted to love this place, but the steak (all three of us had different steaks) was not the best, dry and oddly textured. Supposedly Wagyu but it just wasn't good. Service was good but lagged at the end. For the price the food just wasn't up to par, and since they specialize in steak it was a disappointment.
Loved it great steak and awesome service perfect after a long day of keeping
Our waiter, Chester, was top notch. He was intimately knowledgeable about the menuand helpful with suggestions . The food was superb both in presentation and to the taste. We had a wonderful dining experience to celebrate a life well lived.
Excellent and delicious!
The chef provides fresh high quality cuisine in a lovely if small dining room and outdoor patio. Service was informed, very pleasant and efficient. Superb lamb chops and filet dinners, and bread pudding and apple crisp a la mode deserts.
Overall - Outstanding. The sole issue happened in the Ghost Bar while waiting for the table - ordered two glasses of Franciscan Merlot - took a while to get wine. Then later we discovered that they were out of that wine and the server had substituted another Merlot. Would have been nice if she had let us know since the one that she served was definitely of lower quality. Price remained the same.
Food (steaks) were perfect, veggies were also good as were the potatoes.
Will be back.
Wonderful food, service and ambience. Could not ask for anything more.
As suggested by the name, steaks are the real stars at this cozy restaurant . The bearnaise sauce is divine, and the steaks are truly melt in your mouth. The seating is a bit tight in this old original family home, but the comfort of strangers was part of the warm magic of the evening. All of our choices were delicious, and after the hustle and noise of Main Drag Moab, Jeffries was a quiet oasis. The chicken Marsala is also delicious, as are the homemade desserts
Cute neighborhood restaurant. Very intimate. We sat outdoors.
Love the place, found it a few years ago and just keep going back. The wait staff, the food and it's preparation and the old house are all just perfect.
