    The food lived up to the very expectations. Service at the bar with Katrina and Rob at the table were first rate. I ended up being a solo diner and arrived early hoping to grab a table but understood the restaurant was full but could wait in the bar, or be seated outside. Not a problem, I was early! What I found us was when I was seated at my reservation time, I counted 9 empty tables in the dining room. Found that a little odd…anyway, I loved the fact they had a great live band in the bar! I was even more appreciative of sound level that still allowed for easy conversations to occur with a very friendly crowd.

    We dine on a regular basis at many Jeff Ruby’s restaurants. Last night we took a few friends and celebrated my birthday at the downtown Cincinnati OH location (our favorite). Brett is an OUTSTANDING member of the wait staff. The food, service and atmosphere was perfect! Thanks Brett for always going above and beyond every time we visit. We take having Jeff Ruby’s for granted, traveling and dining at many large cities often we have found Jeff Ruby’s to be so much better than other fine dining establishments.

    We celebrated my husband’s birthday dinner and had a fabulous evening. The food was amazing as always, we love the atmosphere and decor of the new location, plus our server Jess & server assistant Cameron were exceptional (as well as the other staff members with whom we interacted.)

    Bravo for Ryan who kept our water glasses full and conversation hopeful. The rest of the evening was a huge disappointment. We waited 20 minutes for anyone to come to our table (which was Reserved through the Open Table reservation). Our waitress was overly unattentive to us, but she sure enjoyed mingling with the guests waiting for tables to become available - hugs, laughs, loads of talking. In the end, we split a Freddie Salad which we had to ask for, ate some bread and walked out nearly two hours after being seated with NO entree ever delivered. The assistant manager tried to "make it right" and "comped" our non-existent meal. Lol. By this time we were very disgusted and frankly had no desire to eat. (We split a banana when we got home around 930p). That said, very disappointing given the courtesy shown to us for our first anniversay when Jeff Ruby himself took our month old infant for 45 minutes while we enjoyed a dinner at the Waterfront. Something that we shared with Brittany Ruby Miller and her best friend (and Jeff via Facetime) recently at a not-for-profit fund raiser. All the best. Hope things improve! Your dinners are ordinarily incredible.

    Had the Ochocinco, with green beans and macncheese. One of the best dinners I had in a long time. Five stars for Jeff Rubys downtown Cincinnati, OH. What a birthday dinner that was!

    Angelica was an absolutely outstanding server. She recommended the steak and lobster, two of my friends got it and absolutely loved it. For desert i got the kiss from a rose and angelica made the presentation very special! She took extremely good care of us and i look forward to seeing her again! Words can’t describe how much we loved her, this was my first time at Jeff Ruby’s and i’m so excited to dine here again!

    Jeff Ruby's signature restaurant never disappoints. My wife and I sat in a booth in the bar area (which we prefer), as we celebrated our anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. For a Sunday evening, the bar area was alive and hopping.

    The bone-in ribeye & petite filet mignon was superb. The potato Ana, grilled asparagus & lobster gnocchi was superb as well. JESS went over & beyond. Made my 60th extra special! The food, Jess and the ambience oh my!

    Our first time at JR! It was beautiful and the food was delicious. Serve was amazing and kind. It was a fun experience for us on our 12 year anniversary. They even gave us a celebration treat for us. Would love to go back in the future.

    Great service, I mean seriously exemplary. Tony and Josh were a home run. Food and jordans cake we’re a dynamic presentation. Wish they had a stricter dress code and noise level wasn’t so loud. Other than that we’d be back.

    First time going to Jeff Ruby's. I wish I had known to bring a jacket. Also wish someone would have told us about half portions. Way too much food in full portions for just the 2 of us. Fruit flies were a problem, one even drowning itself in my husband's beer.

    We drove more than six hours to eat here and would hands down do it again. This was such an amazing experience. Jorge and Christian were an excellent service team and were so friendly. The food was incredible.

    Excellent service! I highly recommend being seated in the bar area by the piano. The wine selection was great, along with sushi, shrimp cocktail, and of course the steak.

    First of all dinner was awesome. Our servers were Tae and Anthony. Both were great but Tae was exceptional. I mentioned to a manager how I was so impressed with how Tae carried herself in the dining room. You all should be so thankful to have an employee that not only treats the customers with great care but also really shows that she respects where she works and cares about the little things she noticed that (must not have been correct or to JR standard) and quickly and discreetly makes the necessary adjustments. I only once knew what she fixed but saw multiple other staff pass by thanking her so I knew my observations were correct. I was really just in awe watching at first all of the wonderful staff and Tae just really surprised me that she was not part of your management team. She is definitely a asset to your team and I wanted to make certain that you all know that. M Dolen

    Our experience at Jeff Ruby’s started in the bar which included a wonderful performance by Ben Levin on piano. It was followed by the most amazing meal! We were fortunate enough to have Pedro as our server. Absolutely superb! We can’t wait to dine there again!

    Great as always. Our waiter Bradley was very knowledgeable and explained the Dry Aging process which was interesting. The food is perfectly consistent every time. New environment is outstanding.

    This may have been our best experience yet! Mike is a fantastic server. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made some great recommendations for our wine selection, even leaving us a note with some wine options we can look for on our own. FANTASTIC job! Umit stopped by our table, always great to see him. Great guy! Saw Dominic is now serving as well. Awesome sauce! He stopped by our table and chatted with us for a while. Great kid!     Quite an experience. Everything was excellent and above expectation. However, we had a table of eight and we were put into the bar area which was nice but a bit load. Make sure you are being seated where you want to be seated.

    Angelica made an amazing night. Hosted a client from NYC and he was so impressed. Angelica made sure we had everything we needed from our sushi start to when my client transitioned from wine to soda. The dinner was paved perfectly and I can’t wait to come back.

    We dined here for birthday celebrations. We had Bradley and Cameron C. as our severs. They were fantastic. Bradley answered all questions about the menu, and was very friendly. They did an excellent job together, ensuring we were taken care of.
